I used a 3/8 extension , I think it was 6 inch long on a ratchet. I used it to break it loose. Use your fingers to screw it all the way out. When installing back use your fingers to put it in and screw it finger tight. Tighten it with the ratchet. If you have a small mirror it will help you get the socket on the bolt. Also if you break the locking clip in the wire plug its the same clip used on fuel lines just an FYI.
An adapter for angles helps also. Some it works good for like myself and no so well for others. Hard part is finding it and fitting a socket and it not fall off.
how did you get to the back bolt on the bottom right been having a problem getting to it.

Is there a way to take the thermostat inside the housing out?
