When I worked at Dairy Queen, a women at the drive thru screamed loud enough for the whole store to hear “I want a plain cheeseburger.” I make it (meat, cheese, bun) and send it out. She comes in the front door screaming at the counter person that any idiot knows that a plain cheeseburger has ketchup, mustard, and pickles on it.
Fast food burgers by default should have no cheese. I always have to ask for no cheese and half the time they screw up and put cheese on it because its the default order.

Hey Camelot! I have a Walmart story for you, and this is one in Oregon. Back in June of 2016, I was offered a job at the Walmart Neighborhood Market: taking care of the Deli and Bakery departments was my job. There have been multiple times where I have called the store to let SOMEONE know I was going to be a few minutes late (all I had was a bike, lived 15 miles away from my work and had to catch a bus at 4 something in the morning just to TRY and get to work on time, which was 5:30am). I ALWAYS let a company I work for know if I am going to be late, but everytime I called NO ONE ANSWERED. So all I COULD do was just go to work. So....one fateful day.....>_>.....I was fired because of those 4 times I, according to management, "no call, no showed", were ACTUALLY the times I DID make it to work and let a store leader or manager what happened. Oh, it gets "better". On a side note that is relevent to this story, I was 2 and a half months away from officially being a dad. Of all the days they fired me, it was FATHER'S DAY!! I cannot stress enough on how MEGA tempted I was to chuck EVERY SINGLE electronic device I saw in the room I was called into. F WALMART HIGHER-UPS!!! They are absolute nasty, soulless, spineless sacks of rotten meat. Thank you for your time Camelot, and hopefully this will make it on your next video. If, for future reference, you would like me to share more Oregon stories, I will GLADLY do so lol
I've commented the same thing on several of these videos so once again.... Are employment laws in the USA almost non existent. Getting written up after having a gun held to your head!!!! I think a week paid off for trauma is what people should be getting WTF is going on.
Sadly, the Fast Food Industry - and many others, but Cam only really covers this spectrum - long ago made darn sure they stayed as deregulated as possible. Think about how many Congress Critters, and one ex-President, you can buy with lifetime free supply of Happy Meals, Big Macs, and Chicken Nuggets? And the loss to the company is virtually nothing. Then you get into the "donations" they or individuals among them give, and you can see why this happened.
It was years ago but when I first started where I work our video and instore bank was robbed. The banker that was robbed was fired and the poor kid who was held at knife point was suspended and forced to quit or be fired. His mother was intimidated into retiring but she ended being forced to quit. They treated her and her son terrible. We have had customers verbally threaten and even attack employees. They are usually gone within 2 to four weeks . The employees must always please the customer no matter what or else.
A few months earlier, a Burger King employee was literally dying of COVID-19, but management kept her working. Sadly she passed away from the virus, but the infuriating part was that the BK management blamed her estrogen prescription (she was trans), not their negligence.
I'm a "you leave me alone, I leave you alone" type, and I don't have any dog in the fight about Trans issues (other than "leave them alone, they ain't hurtin' you by existing"). However! To blame THAT for an employee's death, AND expose everyone in the restaurant, AND the customers to COVID-19, no matter HOW deadly or undeadly it might be, is unconscionable, unforgivable, and disgusting.

I am from the area where a massacre occurred at a Brown's Chicken in 1993. Seven employees murdered and the case went unsolved for nearly ten years. The place was essentially considered cursed after the murders and the building was torn down.
The reason for requiring employees to quickly give a robber access to the register and the cash is two fold. Should you get shot and killed or seriously injured, the company does not wish to be liable. They really couldn't care less about your possible death or injury. Bad publicity and lawsuits are to be avoided. You, as a mere employee, are an expendable commodity.
I feel very lucky that I never had to work in retail or food service and have great respect for the people that have or currently do. Granted the reason I never worked in retail or the service industry was because in highschool when I was about to start work in that type of job, my body decided that we were gonna spend most of my free time, fighting pretty severe chronic Lyme Disease... And from all of the horror stories, I feel like I dodged a bullet by getting Lyme Disease.

I got a few. I worked at Taco Bell between 2010-2012 in Colorado. We had a van parked out front for many hours, which was strange because it was late at night. We ended up calling the Police. When the cops arrived the guy tried to attack the cops and ended up riding the lightning. Turns out the guy was on a math binger and killed 4 people. All of which were loaded up in the van. Another less traumatic one was an older lady came in saying we messed up her tostada. I asked if she had her receipt which she handed me along with the tostada. The receipt was 4 years old as well as the tostada. She kept it in her fridge and decided that was the day she was getting a new tostada.
That incident at Burger King happened here in Orlando, FL. Burger King on East Colonial Drive in Orlando. I was working that night as a tow truck driver and I happened to be on that side of town. Man this reminds me I swear my friend from high school had to be someone’s fast food horror story/ laugh depending on how they took it. One night I go to his house and we decide to go to McDonald’s. When we left he and his step brother seemed normal, what I didn’t know was that they had just slammed a bunch of alcohol before coming out the house. We get there and he orders his food with no onions which the lady kept asking if it was right and he kept arguing. Turns out what he really wanted was no pickle but that’s not what he said. This turns into him shouting at her and then speeding off. He goes down the road and waits 10 minutes so I’m thinking ok we’re just going home but nope. He takes us back and goes back to the drive through skipping the speaker. He pulls up to the window and the confused lady opens the window (she never saw him the first time). He immediately screams NO PICKLES at the top of his lungs and throws some change on the counter and without missing a beat puts the car in drive and speeds off again. Thankfully that was the end, all while sober 16 year old me was sitting in the back hoping we didn’t get arrested and that he’d just go home.
There is a guy from my area known as the Mac Salad Bandit, he made national news google him, but long story short he broke into a pizza place and took one of the drawers and also a big bowl of mac salad. He left a trail of mac salad on the ground and that's how the police caught him. Even funnier they hired him as a cook at my job and I recognized his name. I went to the GM and asked if he knew who that was, and he goes who? Mac? Yea I know he's the bandit. I guess we were super desperate, he didn't stay long though, we didn't serve mac salad.
Just as it is crazy in the first world for fast food business. I find it completely reverse over here in developing countries for the fast food restaurants where crimes and violence are rare. Anyways keep up the good sharing!
Love the content! If you ever and I mean EVER. Do a 21+version of retail stories I have stories for you. I work in an adult bookstore. But alas my employer's are the F ing best! But I do have stories!!!
My first job was at McDonald's when I was 16. Nothing too crazy happened while I was working, but the job sucked. I would never work in fast food again. Craziest thing that ever happened while I was working was when I worked at this gas station when I was in college. This old lady crashed her car into one of the gas pumps. I guess she said she accidentally hit the gas pedal when she meant to hit the brakes. Her car was literally stuck on the pump with only the rear wheels on the ground. Surprisingly, the pump only had minimal damage and still worked. The outside of it was just busted up.
Camelot: should I be worried about the invisible bugs and ghost kid? Me: hell yes to the first one and maybe to the second depending on how nice the ghost kid is XD
Cody, I can't give Fast Food! It's too delicious! Made with all the Yummy Yummy MSG! Don't ask me to give it up! ... I'll just avoid the whole being an insane customer thing, though. I have better reasons to be insane.
There should be stories about how incompetent workers at McDonald's and Taco Bell are. They will mess my order up even when during times when there are no customers there. I went to McDonald not to long ago. Ordered 40 PC Chicken Nugget (2 orders or 20), got charged for it. Got home, open the bag and all I got was 20 Piece Chicken Nuggets. Ate 2 nugget, return the rest and got my refund and went to Togo's sandwich across the street.
2:07 to be fair, places do tend to skimp out on things a lot; not that one should get *that* upset about it (not that being a bit upset is wrong though 😂😂), but yeah, people just not caring about what they're doing can be kind of frustrating (just cause you're an engineer doesn't mean you know how to prep food nicely) 2:22 like with Bazzi... 3:31 Dunkins Donuts are nasty tho.. Since it's story time, I'm not sure what exactly happened tonight, but evidently there was a bit of a confrontation at the place I work tonight and I guess someone got the crap beat out of them, maybe; I didn't actually see what happened, but as I was trying to clock out I saw blood on the floor in a few places. People are worse than kids; among other things, they really should know better -.-
I like lots of onions on my Taco Bell burritos. Now I know all I needed to do was be obnoxious to get them. Taco Bell has the craziest secret menu in all of fast food.
That’s what happens when jobs don’t pay enough to cover the cost of living. You have people stealing food in the richest country that has ever existed. It’s sickening.
I work at Taco Bell and though we don't have a bug problem at our store I certainly believe it. Also believe the story with the Mexican pizza. I should probably work somewhere else but this is the only place who would hire this misplaced retail worker.
Ponderosa steak house. Our manager let people in after closing, and everything was cleaned, put away, and thrown away. No big deal, I love overtime. So I am turning the grill back on and informed him that I had already tossed the baked potatoes. The fucker goes to the trash, selects two potatoes, even though I had just cleaned the grill and they had oven cleaner on them, washes them off in the hand sink, and tells me to heat them up and serve them. I took of my apron and noped the fuck out of there right then. Not having two dead old men on my conscience or my criminal record. On my way out I very loudly exclaimed that I was quitting because I would not serve food with oven cleaner on it. I know the folks heard me, but I have no idea if they left. I was gone.
I'm sorry, but when you told the last story about the Burger King employee being shot, I wanted to cry. That's someone's son/daughter that is now gone. Over some fucking fast food. So sickening. This world is so cruel man..
I worked at McDonald’s for 6 years. And while this guy was in the drive thru. Called me fucking retarted. Because he couldn’t understand how a buy 1 get 1 free coupon worked. You had to buy 1 burger at regular price first. This ray of sunshine wanted a burger free on the side with his meal. My response was, no are you. I definitely do not regret it at all lol. Oh and he also threatened to punch me.
Hit by a car, robbed, seen a man get his head crushed by a tire, seen homeless men dead on the side of roads, been chased by streakers, have had to choke hold a man 4 times my size while they bashed at my coworkers skull (we were closing the bathroom), someone stole our bathroom sink, off the wall. There was no shut off valve because it was a piece of what they took also, saved by a random group of drag queens from being assaulted by a drunk guy and most this happened from 12am-3am. Can you guess the job? If you guess Delivery Cyclist and P.I.C. at Jimmy John's, you'd be right.
This is why I work at real restaurants (not chains) as a cook the cooks/chef's that work at them are usually ex military, reformed convicts, or just plain crazy; most myself included are covered in ink(tattoos) and give so little f#$%s from not sleeping for days that we give so little f#$%s that we live off of vices(btw mine is alcohol)and sarcasm that if you threatened us we'd say don't miss because if you do this knife is going right through you. Moral of the story don't be a cook unless you are so jaded and broken it wouldn't matter
I got 6 free donuts one time because Dunkin didn't have the donut holes I ordered on the app, and to make it up I was given six donuts with no yelling, swearing, or confrontation. Man this world has went to heck in a handbasket.

the most incredible thing I've ever seen was that video of the girl wanting nuggets for breakfast. then changing to her final form (dragonball reference), growling, biting the guy and breaking the drive threw window.
I just saw someone try to open the obviously closed game stop door last night (the store was dark & fence down). I was there to dive their dumpster so I left her to her own devices.
If I didn't think the Mexican pizza was big enough I would order 2 or 3 of them..........
No one is asking you to give up anything.
I'd swear the Mexican pizzas did used to be bigger.
You used to be smaller.
I am a friend of the family that lost their son that worked at the Burger King.Very tragic.
Stupid is as stupid does
You have a unique signature move at the end of each video.
Wow. A literal dollars to donuts robbery
Burger King seems safer for the customer than it is for the employee due to lack of armed security and armed employees.
Here's a quick one: working at Gamestop, had a guy trade in games. One of them had heroin in it.
2:07 to be fair, places do tend to skimp out on things a lot; not that one should get *that* upset about it (not that being a bit upset is wrong though 😂😂), but yeah, people just not caring about what they're doing can be kind of frustrating (just cause you're an engineer doesn't mean you know how to prep food nicely)
2:22 like with Bazzi...
People are worse than kids; among other things, they really should know better -.-
Taco Bell one was funny!! Reminds me of when I ordered the Mexican Pizza once then never ordered it again.
OMG Cam, this one was an absolute gut Buster!!
I like lots of onions on my Taco Bell burritos. Now I know all I needed to do was be obnoxious to get them. Taco Bell has the craziest secret menu in all of fast food.
There are times where I want burger king but I can't go cause the customer service is so horrible
There McDonald's hit who threw the coffee sounds like a guy in my area who may have done this.
Hey hey hey this mans is going places he knows if you want something done right you gotta do it yourself
Gettin that crown is a real accomplishment.
Is that a grinder at the end of the video? Looks and sounds like one.
I'm not sure if it was the paper or the moist humidity Oowwwwwww 😂😂😂
and he's going to have to explain to his jail buddies why he killed a guy! 🤣
That’s what happens when jobs don’t pay enough to cover the cost of living. You have people stealing food in the richest country that has ever existed. It’s sickening.
First time viewer of this channel. Funny this guy sounds like the Hodge twins with a little bit of some Theo Von mixed in.
Your left eye closes very slowly while you talk, I feel like im slowly getting hypnotized watching this video lol.
Hahahah he settled for donuts 🍩 😂😂😂
He probably hollered for that dollar.
That Taco Bell should be reported to the health department as well as Taco Bell Corporate since it sounds like ground zero for an outbreak.
OOH. MYY. GAWD!
I work at Taco Bell and though we don't have a bug problem at our store I certainly believe it. Also believe the story with the Mexican pizza. I should probably work somewhere else but this is the only place who would hire this misplaced retail worker.
3:00 god thats so dark
Work uniform, black pants, none slip shoes, shirt and hat (furnished by the company) optional bulletproof vest (not furnished by the company)
Guthrie’s? You just live near me because those are local to this area. But I won’t disclose the area lol.
I was gone.
Hell those bugs in taco bell are probably better for you than their mystery taco meat! Haha!
I'm sorry, but when you told the last story about the Burger King employee being shot, I wanted to cry. That's someone's son/daughter that is now gone. Over some fucking fast food. So sickening. This world is so cruel man..
The irony is that the cops ended up getting the doughnuts.
You should write a book - "Terrible Tales From Retail"
Doughnut robber mistook the phrase "dollars to doughnuts" to "dollars OR doughnuts"
Good thing i don't work at Burger king anymore.. I never want to go back to another fast food place (to work in)for as long as i live.
Jesus..Subway guy is another example of why alcohol is so bad. 5months not a drop and couldn't feel better 😬
I would have told the boss/manager to go bleep himself and quit if he wrote me up over some nonsense over a robbery.
I would’ve gone to jail if I worked in a fast food place.
Come on, baby! There ain't nothing to be nervous about. Come to mama!
Jesus hahhahahah
Did they give him an impossible whopper instead of a regular whopper?! I guess that'll teach them to get his order wrong.
"Welcome to the thunderdome bitch."

I got 6 free donuts one time because Dunkin didn't have the donut holes I ordered on the app, and to make it up I was given six donuts with no yelling, swearing, or confrontation. Man this world has went to heck in a handbasket.
I didn’t work this Taco Bell but it was shut down because the workers were shitting in the meat
Never ever will I work at fast food place or retail.
Burger King may need to add armed security to protect employees or modify employee policy to allow employees to be armed while on the premises for self defense or both.
