@@crypticmushu1560 EDD will deny unemployment money if they can find any way to blame a termination of on someone attempting to collect unemployment insurance due to them,, Ive learned if you do nothing else at work make sure not to miss any schedualed work unless you have written excused time off or a Drs note to explain an absence ,, the first thing EDD looks for is termination involving attetance violations, number one thing is always be on time at work,, also when companies need to make cut backs the first thing they do is look at attendance violators to terminate employees,,, if your gonna get fired the best reason is "unsatisfactory work performance" because that can always be just someone opinion ,, basically if your alwaty on time you are the hardest to fire because theyd actually have to have been keeping records and offered retraining ,, so they just look for scheduling violations to fire people

I wish I could say the same thing, but Walmart is literally the only retail store within 40mi of my location. Sure we have ONE grocery store & another in a neighboring town, but I can’t buy all of my household supplies or what I need for my animals at either of them. It wasn’t always like this. We had several other stores, but they all closed between early last year & during corona. It sucks dude. I hate it with a passion.

Truth comes out with da poo. When I was like 9 or 10, I was shopping at a target with my Mom. Back then, I was known for holding the poo in. Well luck be have it, I was holding the poo and a little creeper popped out and all of a sudden ran down my leg. I gave my leg a little shake and the turd fell on the floor. I was pretty embarrassed, looked around for witnesses, and when the coast was clear, I got the hell out of there. 😳
The poo covered bathroom story... For every retail place I've worked we had to call a special clean up company to clean and disinfect a bathroom that bad. It's hazardous to employees and customers if it isn't cleaned properly.

I begin hearing the sound of a can being sprayed and I don't think much of it until I hear something bang on the game case glass on the other side of the aisle. I go around and find a guy passed out in the floor, a can of the air in his hands. The moron was huffing it.
People will inhale anything to get a buzz. In the 1960s and 1970s, people were huffing airplane glue (literally, the shit you use to put together plastic model kits). They had to change the formulation and what they came up with took like three times as long to dry, and didn't hold very well. Gasoline was another favorite. Then there was the story of the guy who was huffing automotive starting fluid - that stuff you spray into the air intake of a car that's hard to start for whatever reason. Then the great moron lit a cigarette. Burned up his lungs from the inside out. I realize the people who do these things are a very small minority, but damn. They get to vote 'n shit.....

I used to work at Walmart. I only worked there for a little over a month. I was one of the Janitors I cleaned the spills, bathroom and took big stuff to peoples cars. Ever time I cleaned the bathroom even the women’s it was somewhat clean. I never saw poop on the floor or anywhere for that matter other then the toilet. I did have to deal with a dirty Tampon left laying out. My Experience working at Walmart was on the better side of things.

I'm a former opening staff of the Bitch Department aka Returns, in the 1st of two Wallyworlds here in Federal Way, WA ("F*ck Federal Way!'-Katt Williams). People be running out top speed of the store with full carts of merch & food. I was shopping last December at our Supercenter when a CSR called for "Joe to come to the front!" over the speakers. Joe burst through the stockroom doors at the back of the store, I hear a description of the shoplifter from his radio as he starts running. I had to follow just out of curiosity. All you hear is him breathing hard and footstomps running faster and faster doom-doom-doom through the store. Suspect and his full cart have already made it outside into the parking lot when Joe passed through the main entrance. I hear a man scream, and then see Joe coming back into the store with the full cart. Legend has it the suspect is still running.
The poo restroom has an easy solution! Call the cops to take a handprint mold. Pretty sure that lady is in some database somewhere! Arrest her for vandalism or something! Then turn a hose on the bathroom. Those things have drains for a reason!
I work for Walmart. I used to work for Dollar Genetal. I can say Dollar General is MUCH worse. The big thing at Walmart right now is the Black Fridays multi week events. Online ordering system is totally messed up. Customers are getting twice what they paid for, and other orders never popped up for fulfillment. It's a nightmare.
Oh, gods, Dollar General. What a shit hurricane that was. I lasted a scant five weeks, and one day, mid-shift, I just walked out. The funny thing was, there wasn't any sort of immediate 'trigger'. It was just the daily bullshit. It got quiet in the store for about an hour or so, and I was putting out stock, and I realized that the job was just a timewaster. I didn't even clock out. I just took a Coke from the cooler and split.
I think the worst I’ve had is a manager taking 3 months to return a “new” item with “receipt , and being told “we don’t compensate for bad costumer service”.
i wouldn’t eat any food from walmart ether. ten years at a walmart food distribution center. i’ve seen some nasty things being done to the foods. like food being dumped all over the dirty floor and then scooped up with the dust pans and shovels and put back into the containers. the dust pans and shovels we use at the end of night to pick up garbage! don’t get ice cream it sits a dock thawing out completely then put in to the ice cream room to refreeze again.

Story time: I used to work at Lowe's and we were absolutely responsible for cleaning the restrooms. There was an old man who would come in every Sunday after church, and wave to us with his little newspaper tucked under his arm. He would then proceed to defile a stall in the men's room the likes of which I never knew possible. To say he committed an organic, fecal insult would be an understatement. Every Sunday without fail. Needless to say I didn't work there for very long.

If I was the manager of that store, who had the employee with a heart attack? I will hire them back once I know they’re good. I’ll be the good person who I make sure they’re in good health while they work. I will help them out. They need to rest for a bit. If I see lightheaded, I will have them sit down and relax for a few minutes and once you know you’re good then you could continue working. I work in Foodland here in Hawaii. I used to be the full-time courtesy clerk, but now I’m a grocery clerk. When I was a courtesy clerk, the managers and everyone in the front department will let me be in charge of the courtesy clerks below me. sure they weren’t allowed to put me in charge, but they allowed me to because I always kept them and check and I only sent the courtesy clerks out on the cart run if they look bored. I always make sure that they’re busy doing something so they don’t get busted by the manager or the big boss when they show up unexpectedly. I also make sure they went on their 15 minute break and lunch break on time. Plus it’s less stress for them. And I wanted to make sure that they don’t feel overwhelmed when we’re really busy so basically I took charge of the courtesy clerks below me The front end had trouble keeping up with sending courtesy clerk on your break because they’re busy sending cashiers on the break and doing union work. They loved me and cared because I’m a nice person and want to tell when the stress is getting to them

Story time: I used to work at Lowe's and we were absolutely responsible for cleaning the restrooms. There was an old man who would come in every Sunday after church, and wave to us with his little newspaper tucked under his arm. He would then proceed to defile a stall in the men's room the likes of which I never knew possible. To say he committed an organic, fecal insult would be an understatement. Every Sunday without fail. Needless to say I didn't work there for very long.

I worked at Walmart in the 1980's. Some woman used to return the sexy nighties we sold, after she used them. The crotch was always messed up. And management wouldn't bat an eye, gave her the money back. But if you were an employee you had to go through hell and back to get a refund.

If I was the manager of that store, who had the employee with a heart attack? I will hire them back once I know they’re good. I’ll be the good person who I make sure they’re in good health while they work. I will help them out. They need to rest for a bit. If I see lightheaded, I will have them sit down and relax for a few minutes and once you know you’re good then you could continue working.
I work in Foodland here in Hawaii. I used to be the full-time courtesy clerk, but now I’m a grocery clerk. When I was a courtesy clerk, the managers and everyone in the front department will let me be in charge of the courtesy clerks below me.
sure they weren’t allowed to put me in charge, but they allowed me to because I always kept them and check and I only sent the courtesy clerks out on the cart run if they look bored. I always make sure that they’re busy doing something so they don’t get busted by the manager or the big boss when they show up unexpectedly. I also make sure they went on their 15 minute break and lunch break on time. Plus it’s less stress for them. And I wanted to make sure that they don’t feel overwhelmed when we’re really busy so basically I took charge of the courtesy clerks below me
The front end had trouble keeping up with sending courtesy clerk on your break because they’re busy sending cashiers on the break and doing union work.
They loved me and cared because I’m a nice person and want to tell when the stress is getting to them
