This skill level is crazy, I started playing eternal last week on ultra violence and thought that was hard. I'm coming up to the ancient gods dlc so I will be watching this vid over and over to reinforce strategies into my head for the fight!
The one moment when the Tyrant is legitimately intense and terrifying, figting alongside the Dark Lord Especially since it’s essentially respawning if you don’t finish off the Dark Lord quickly
You got great skill, my guy! I’m a bit late on this one, but this is a dope version of the fight. I gotta admit though, I love the one-on-one duel between Doomguy and Davoth, but I think what id could have added is something like Davoth setting the floor on fire or corrosive material, or Argent ground furrows like the Whiplash and Archvile, or even aerial ground slams that cause knock back. Would definitely be more than a cranked-up Marauder fight, which I’m cool with, but something like that to make the devil a true threat and a glorious victory when you kill him.
I do not know about the actual pros but your skill level is extreme. You dying a few times when close to defeating the baddy, fighting like a true legend makes this fight epic. Defeating him in one go would not have made much sense, it is the losing that shows how difficult this is : ) , No wonder this has 128 thousand views, All viewers are way more shocked than you just in the opposite sense. This was one of the finest at par battles with the enemy. Are you not entertained....(Dialogue from Gladiator the movie) : )

The Dark Lord's fight really disappointed me. Overall, it felt as though I was just constantly in a sluggish marauder fight, and, considering he regains health upon hitting you, it feels like you are tippy toeing around with more caution than zeal.
Yessss! Woefully anticlimactic and nit very imaginative. I think that was the issue of making the dark lord have the body of the slayer. You'd think it'd be like a dark mirror match but the marauder kinda already serves that role and he's no boss. So it just ends up feeling like empty shock value given he just fights you in a mech.

I played the original Doom back in the late 90s. Typing IDKFA gave you all the weapons. There were other cheat codes.
