@@theguy1224 you can tap the weapon wheel button on console to quickly switch back to your last weapon, making it pretty easy to simple 2-weapon combos on controller at least. for more advanced quickswapping, there's lots of ways to do it on controller but i know very little about it since I play on PC, where I can keybind each weapon individually. There's plenty of vids on controller quickswapping tho. Starting with simply alternating back and forth btwn the SSG and ballista. you can simply hold the primary fire button down and tap the "switch weapon" button with the right rhythm to perform this combo. It works pretty well against any enemy, but isn't really the best or most efficient for any of them since its slower and less ammo efficient than combos with precision bolt. But its a HELL of a lot better than firing one of these guns, waiting, and then firing it again. Just using this 1 combo is a game changer when you're a beginner. (yes, I'd consider "beat the game once on easy" a beginner. no, this isn't an insult). This game only gets more fun with repeat playthroughs imo, there's a LOT of shit to learn about and master in it, the various difficulties above easy make it harder, but in a way thats fair and just makes it more fun once youre prepared to deal with them, and when you start holding your own on UV or Nightmare consistently you feel like a god. it does take practice tho. I had a hard time with normal mode at first, and now I do Master Levels on Ultra Nightmare for fun. I'm not quite as good as zero master, I mean, almost nobody is... but I'm pretty damn good now - better than I ever thought I could get at any game, especially an FPS - and i use some of the same techniques he does, including those rapid quickswap combos i used to think I'd never get the hang of. I def can't play with no crosshair tho, lmfao. and I wanna see my grenades/blood punch charges. So no HUD is not for me. But like... my point in bringing up my own skills isn't to brag, its to say: Maybe you're not "terrible at video games"... maybe you're just not very good at doom eternal... yet. Doom Eternal is a pretty unique game that few people are good at immediately, even if theyre pretty good at FPS in general. I certainly sucked at it for awhile. Being good at other games, even other FPS will only help you so much in DE. You could be a literal aimbot, but if you dont play DE like youre playing DE, and try to play it like its counter strike or COD or whatever instead, then that flawless aim still wont make you good at doom eternal. Conversely, you could have relatively poor aim that would prevent you from doing well in something like CSGO, but understand doom eternal's systems really well and have developed the muscle memory for quickswapping - like me... and still excel in doom eternal, since DE does not require super precise aim at all. I mean, you the SSG which hits in a huge cone. The sticky bombs which magnet slightly to targets esp. weakpoints and dont damage you. the precision bolt which has a bit of target snapping on it and is frequently used on wkpts/heads with generous hitboxes. the ballista which is pinpoint accurate but shoots a fat enough beam that you dont have to be. Rockets which are either lockon or hugely explodey. 2 types of grenades, a massive melee shockwave punch, microwave beam falters to stop moving targets, and more. Plus some DE enemies like tyrants are literally "broad side of a barn" sized. So you need a bit better than "broad side of a barn" aim, and better aim will be helpful, but excellent aim isnt necessary or sufficient to play doom eternal well. My aim is pretty garbage for someone who plays ANY fps as well as I play DE. The aim thing is just an example. There's many avenues for improvement and many ways to compensate for areas where you're lacking in DE. so basically what im getting at is, if you love these types of games, don't think you have to "done" with doom eternal because you "beat" it once or "100%" ed it or that you're "not good enough at video games" to get better at it. Its a game meant to, in the words of the devs "give you something worthwhile to master" and to "present a fair challenge, not just for the sake of being hard, but so that it pushes you to play in the right way: the fun way". The game is designed to teach you to play it, and to always give you everything you need to succeed, but also to "hold you accountable" - if you dont pick up on the lessons the game tries to teach you, and dont use your tools enough or use them poorly, you die. But You don't have to play like ZM to improve at it and have a good time doing so, and I found the game got more fun as I move up from HMP to UV to Nightmare, even though nightmare REKT me for awhile. on basically everything below UN you arent expected to use absolutely everything or do everything perfectly to succeed. You just have to use most of your stuff pretty well most of the time. Hell, I can do some master levels on UN without BFG, Crucible, Saving throw, or lockon rockets and you're definitely kinda "supposed to" use saving throw for UN, the BFG at certain parts, and lockon rockets somewhat regularly. I can't forgo the chaingun shield, but Zero Master and players like him can. You're definitely kinda "supposed to" use the fuckin HUD, especially a crosshair! but Zero master doesnt need it. So even on UN master levels, you dont need to use absolutely everything to the maximum potential IF you use enough stuff well enough to compensate. UN master levels might definitely just be out of reach for some, but I think almost anyone could at least beat HMP with some patience and learning, especially if they can beat ITYTD. and most people could probably work their way up to being at least decent on ultraviolence with a bit more effort. Going from having a hard time on easy to doing okay on UV is still a HUGE improvement that can feel very rewarding. So maybe its time for a Hurt me Plenty or UV playthrough? These 2 sub-nightmare difficulties are very reasonable, but do push you to learn the mechanics far more than Easy does. But this makes you play in a more fun way. once you're able to do pretty well on HMP, UV really isnt all that much harder than it IMO. Nightmare can be a shock at first even going from UV tho. Demon damage is nearly doubled from UV levels on HMP. 1 caco bite does 150 dmg. Gargoyles rapid slaps do 50. Shield soldiers shotgun at point blank? 130! just to give an idea of how much crazier nightmare is than anything below. You have to use basically everything in your toolkit really well to survive consistently on nightmare, but when you finally CAN survive on it, even only semi-consistently it feels awesome. you naturally end up playing a bit like Zero Master, just not at such an extreme level of zero-mastery. Every enemy feels relevant, even fodder, every tool is invaluable, you end up constantly making more decisions in less time than you even knew your brain could handle. Def dont start on nightmare tho. watch Under the Mayos "beginners guide to doom eternal" and "intermediate guide to doom eternal", then consider starting HMP or UV. Those are really informative vids I recommend to every newbie. Theres no "risk" to starting on UV since you drop it down to HMP at any time if you feel its just too hard, so if youre feeling adventurous, I'd suggest giving UV a solid effort for a bit rather than just going straight to HMP. But if you end up on HMP, theres no shame in that at all. I'd say its pretty ...normal... to only be able to handle HMP till you get more practice... that IS the "normal" difficulty after all. Also if you do start another run and have any questions at all I'd be happy to help! I have almost 1500 hrs experience with this game a borderline encyclopedic knowledge of it cos its my fav game of all time. So I should be able to answer most questions or give you tips on most parts of the game. And at least 50-100 hours of that experience playing is experience sucking at the game pretty badly. I got my ass kicked my first couple playthroughs, and didnt understand a lot of stuff till later than I shouldve. so whatever you could possibly do wrong or have trouble with, I've probably been there.
Randomly got recommended this video. Watch in awe how the hell can someone play this insanely. How is that even possible. Then look at the channel name "Zero Master". It all makes sense now...
DUDE THIS MASTER LEVEL WAS SO FUCKING GOOD Like, at every turn there was a creative use of the demons, especially that opening sequence. I was kinda sad when it ended tbh because it was so good
This man has given us a little less intense replica of what a CSGO sweat's screen looks like. Amazing work, Zero Master! I can't believe the skill you have!
I beat this last night on nightmare and after every arena I said to myself out loud "that was perfect". Every arena, surprise trap fights, changes to the map the throw you off. This might be the perfect master level thus far. That's just my opinion, though.
You should 100% play this game. The only downside to doing so is that you'll no longer be able to play any other single player FPS because they don't compare. It's a masterpiece.
How is it that everytime I stumble on a ZeroMaster video I'm like "I'll just take a peak how he performed in this one", then get sucked in to an abyss of mesmerizing gore and extreme violence unable to determine if I'm feeling pain, arousal or nothing at all just to realize between 30min or 3h later I have sore eyes, becauae I was staring at my smartphonescreen from a distance of a few centimeters without blinking while driving to the end of a public transportation line or lying in an ice cold bathtub without taking notice of reality only interrupted by occational unitended twitches when my conciousness is overwhelmed by the mind boggling amount of damage he dealt to a particular demon in a split of a second. And then I'm like "Oh he already did it even faster with no HUD, let's see".
Just beat this about 5 minutes ago on xbox, only took two UN attempts, tho the first attempt was a lil embarrassing ngl 😂 died to a stray imp shot in the area where all the pinkies and revenants are. Personally I still think that Taras Nabad is harder with the crucible coin room and the one shortly after with the archviles, but this one was Enjoyable and not as tedious as taras nabad imo, I think so far its second to super gore nest for my favorite master levels. Finna try a no superweapons run eventually, see how I do, especially with the area after you first get the bfg, gotta resist the urge to just blow everything away even with basically infinite bfg shots lol. @@GigaChadAlucard wow I did not know that they respawned I always do that part without the bfg because I don't want to waste the ammo lmao. But other than that its great, It's probably a master level im gonna keep going back to like I do with super gore nest sometimes
@@GigaChadAlucard agreed. I think it is my favourite one. I just did classic mode world spear on nightmare. Holy shit it was so hard. The arenas just go on forever sometimes, but it is fresh and unique. You just get exhausted really fast like Tara's nabad as opposed to SGM or Mars Core which can be done in like 30 minutes. Meanwhile world spear can take an entire hour if your super good. If you struggle, it's like 6 hours of bullshit! Lol

@@furiousfap3369 Well, since no else said it I'll say it: thanks for the info!

Next doom

I literally gasped when I saw him use the BFG at the end
26/10/2021 was a big party for DOOMers
Randomly got recommended this video. Watch in awe how the hell can someone play this insanely. How is that even possible. Then look at the channel name "Zero Master". It all makes sense now...
Everytime i watch your videos, im diying a little bit more inside. That is some SICK gameplay my dude.
I don't think I could have even lasted 5 minutes. But this guy made it look like a walk in the park. Impressive skills!
Incredible player you are. Perfect moving and weapon switches.
DUDE THIS MASTER LEVEL WAS SO FUCKING GOOD
Like, at every turn there was a creative use of the demons, especially that opening sequence.
I was kinda sad when it ended tbh because it was so good
Amazing as always! :D Can't wait for World Spear ML UN upload. This will be one hell of a ride ^^
that archvale stood no chance. bro couldn't even get his arms up before he was frozen and smashed to smithereens. lmao
This man has given us a little less intense replica of what a CSGO sweat's screen looks like.
Amazing work, Zero Master! I can't believe the skill you have!
These levels killed my fps. I was playing with rtx on and didn't realise dlss had turned itself off! Was getting 35fps at times 🤣
35fps? the classic doom experience!
@@CalavErik I was like why the enemies acting all weird 🤣
and i struggle beating this game on nightmare... this man is something else entirely
This is poetry in motion
If you ever feel useless, remember that there's a dislike button for ZeroMaster's video.
(There's no use for dislikes on ZeroMaster's video.)
I beat this last night on nightmare and after every arena I said to myself out loud "that was perfect". Every arena, surprise trap fights, changes to the map the throw you off. This might be the perfect master level thus far. That's just my opinion, though.
I hope they'll make a Quake game one day like this, still playing Eternal, relaxes me a lot.
Holy shit I think he's actually getting FASTER on these kills. How the fuck
He so fast, he makes fast people not fast.
@@topher3127 I've watched most of his other videos at 1.25x speed.. had to slow down to 1x for this one....
@@Kuk0san Now that's fast.

I love it at 05:56, where dude literally ran out of bigger meat to blow up and hesitated for a moment when he saw the fodder zombie.
The master of the Doom dance!
you can tell dude is amazing because he didn't even bother to turn down the "The BFG 10,000 is firing"
This INSANE super fast gameplay with 100 different things going on at once... and the YT quality can go up to 2160p (4K). Wow.
*God has uploaded a video*
Omg how can anyone be so good at this I gave up half way thru the game and I’ve been a gamer since the 90 with many confirmed kills under my belt.

Amazing work, but just in case you weren't aware . . .
*THE BFG 10,000 IS FIRING*
this is making me want to actually play this game
You should 100% play this game. The only downside to doing so is that you'll no longer be able to play any other single player FPS because they don't compare. It's a masterpiece.
you should. playing less than half as good as ZM does still feels absolutely amazing
The pause in the music at 8:16 with the timing of the glory kill is perfect!!
2:07
The hell knight waiting to greet you at the teleporter lol
Bro wtf I’ve spent like 15 total hours trying to beat this you’re insane
This is like watching ballet. Beautiful!
29:20 this part feels like it speed up 2x
lol I actually checked if I had the speedup on, then I saw your comment. Amazing
I am glad the internet was not such a big thing when I played the first doom. I would have just felt bad like now :-D Impressive!
Also got a world sphere master level to do, will probably try tomorrow
Does the BFG pickup refreshes in this arena? I saved the BFG for the last wave, and I was surprised why I have 60 BFG cells and the pickup is still there.
@@dshaprin yeah the small arena right after you pick up the bfg has bfg ammo that respawns every 15 ish seconds or so
@@GigaChadAlucard wow I did not know that they respawned I always do that part without the bfg because I don't want to waste the ammo lmao. Also yes Tara's nabad is still the hardest level harder than world spear too just because we have hammer in world spear. But honestly both are as tedious and super long. Mars core had perfect pacing, was fun, challenging, not super hard but not super easy either
@@themoshpit8341 ya i didn't know that on my first run either till I noticed it kept spawning in and was like alright then. And oh World Sphere is just as tedious as Taras Nabad? Dang im not looking forward to it then, Haven't gotten around to trying it cus been busy with other stuff. But yes I agree Mars core is quite enjoyable to play and not tedious for any part of it except for the last arena, I get a bit annoyed of how long that part is ngl cus I'll be on the last two waves and im like cmonn I wanna finish the level now im right fking there.
Lol
Just watching this is such a dopamine rush. I wish i could play like this...
“They are rage, brutal, without mercy. But you. You will be worse. Rip and tear until it is done.”
Zero master: I see that and raise you perfect slaughter and no super weapons.
This was a joy to watch amazing gameplay 👏
Never played a Doom game in my life, this whole video felt like a bad drug trip. I don’t even know what’s going on, just every so often I get a close up of a demon being ripped apart.
Gotta play it to truly appreciate exactly what is going on. Makes it even more impressive
Eternal is a real crackhead masterpiece.
Once you start your way of getting good at that game you fully understand what is happening. It actually stops beeing overwhelming pretty fast in my experience
This is combination of Duke Nukem, Max Payne, Gordon Freeman, Kratos, Gerald Of Rivia, The Doom 3 guy, Marcus Fénix, Thor and all the bad-asses characters throughout all the universes in one single almighty dude.
12:28 The commentary here is so funny because the Spokeperson keeps mumbling about the Slayer not being capable of stopping the armies of Hell, meanwhile he instantly killed a horde of demons without breaking a sweat
man your a beast...ive beat the campaign and all the first master levels on nightmare...i died a few times and it was so chaotic...this new master level is definately harder than the first 3...wow i commend you sir...this game is hall of fame.
"Yeah, I play on PC, how did you know?"
once again, Zeromaster proving hes the all time greatest Doomer. no need for any fancy tech when your this good at routing!!!! amazing bro.

Although you don't know the exact right combos for perfect demon slaying, or took no damage, this was artwork. I applaud you for your demon monetization. That being said there is still room for improvement. Rip and tear, until it is done.

Buhh-Rooo👀 im completely enthralled by this gameplay
Lucky you.. on Xbox there’s yet another bug where that small door you have to jump they at 8:00 is shut and won’t open. Literally unable to continue this mission.
Not only on Xbox.. i have this bug on PC too.. tried twice but always end up stuck at the bridge with door closed.. 😐
there is? I've never experienced it, and I've played the Master Level a good bunch
That must be some glitch.. I've played 2 times after update and I couldn't pass past this bridge. Door never came up. Then I played yesterday twice and it came up as it should. Maybe some circumstances make it behave like this.
