Dude, you are the Bomb! Thanks so much for including the links. I'm buying one of these buggers on Friday and I can't wait. First thing I'm doing upon setup is eliminating the canister that creates vapor lock. I'm not gonna wait for that to happen. No problem good luck with the bike! I did all the mods on mine before I even started her up😂 make sure you get rid of the shipping oil before u start the bike as well

Dude this video is the best ive seen so far man. I just ordered the xpro vader 125cc and after watching your video I just ordered the exhuast, new fake Mikuni carb kit, 428 17 tooth sprocket, battery, and a gallon of oil. Do you know where to find decent rear racks and good new.fromt and rear pegs?

I have a 2020 boom Vader with the vm22 carburetor same thing as you with stock exhaust and different sprocket what size Jets do you have in yours and what is your needle at and also the if fuel mixture screw setting
For me personally and my altitude the vm22 that I put on I didn’t need to mess with the jets or the air/fuel ratio. Most people run a 125 main jet and then it depends on your altitude for the pilot jet
Have you done anything to the forks? The bike dives forward when you get on the front brake. Seems like it needs stiffer springs...
Yeah a stiffer spring would definitely help I haven’t change them yet
I have a 2020 boom Vader it's still a work in progress but put numerous mods into it still have the original airbox and battery but if you really want these bikes to be reliable you have to really tear them down and go through every bolt

Hey, my Boom Vader bogged down on me today doing 40mph in 4th gear. Any suggestions? It’s bone stock. But been looking at the carb upgrade, exhaust upgrade. I had added 91 octane recently so not sure if that messed up air/fuel mixture.
I would do the evap delete that’s probably the issue

You need to get a NIBBI carb bro. It makes a big difference with throttle response. It atomizes the fuel much better than those fake ones. The interior of the nibbi carb is machined smooth. I notice a night and day difference compared to the clone carbs.

installed a 17t sprocket today but the chain now hits the cover and the chain rubs a little on the swing arm would you have any suggestions ?
I did the same thing I took off that cover
When you swap the carb, what do you do for a fuel tank petcock?
I don’t have one anymore for the upgraded carb you don’t need it
Is it the same as boss vader ? I tryna purchase from red fox and they have boom vader and boss vader only the boss has more specs like colored calipers and stuff like that
I’m sure they’re very similar I’m not sure what the difference is

Just put the 17t and mikuni carb runs and sounds nice but it's not going over 30 mph but I think cause it's not broken in yet only 100 miles so far

What's your top end with the 17 tooth sprocket? I'm about to get this bike and debating 17 or 18 tooth.
About 55 mph but I also weigh 150 pounds
Have you thought about installing a E-vap canister?
Nah I haven’t had any issues since the evap delete so I’m leaving it alone

This is Al-Zamil. I’m in Los Angeles and I have the bigger version of this bike (Boom Ninja/x22). I need a work space & guidance on replacing some seals , head gasket, rear wheel bearings, & possibly valves. Are you in LA? Can you help?

Did you do an oil change? It could be the shipping oil is no good or if it smoked right after an oil change there may be oil on the exhaust
How much tweaking did you have to do with jets?
You do need to adjust the pilot jets based on your altitude
Can you just slap the carb on or do you have to tune it ?
You can just slap it on but it will run better if you tune it

did you use Loctite on the bolts and if so which bolts?
I checked them and they were fine so I don’t think it did most of them. I know I did the front wheel bolt and rear wheel bolt as well as the triple tree bolt

Do you plug the holes that the hoses come from on the emissions portion?
The meta one underneath the engine you plug and the one on top I put a small filter on other than that I just zip tied them to the side

I just bought my very 1st one never owned one. I got the 2021 model had 0.8 miles or kM whatever it goes by I just got a 17 tooth sprocket. I'll be adding more mods I just want a little more long hwy speed. Atleast 60mph

My bike won’t stay running when I start it. The bike will shut off right after it’s on unless I give it gas. Any reason why it does this?
Might be a low idle or vapor lock
@@BrapGenius I ended up figuring it out. It was because idle screw was set as low as possible

Just got a used boom Vader anyone know how to change the contrast on the display I can only see it at certain angles so I know it's working just cant see it when riding. Or do I just need to replace it

Why are there so many carburetors on Amazon that look exactly like the one you have but they’re a different “brand”? The one in the link is sold out
It’s the same kind of carb just made by a different company. Other ones should be fine just look up VM22
Did u swap the jets when u put the carb on? Or just as is out of the box?
So mine runs okay with the stock jets but it depends on your altitude and humidity where u live

I got mine a week ago and still can’t get it started. Called and they sent me a link that was zero help. I tried doing an oil change and now it’s not only not starting but leaking oil. Could use any all help guys.. I am at a loss! 😑

If you’re willing to work on the bike then totally. I paid a total of $1300 including mods and have put 2,000 miles on it so far. Cheapest Groms right now (that aren’t beat to piss) are like $3K

Yes I didn’t want to spend the extra money on the Nibbi. The Nibbi is the better carb but the VM22 works well too and is cheaper which is better for the average consumer who buys these bikes in the first place since they are cheap

Haha on the 2020s they fixed the engine bolt problem so I didn’t have to worry about it
