@@RCCaveStudios okay thank you very much! I decided to just go with the wltoys 104001 which I got on sale for $99 during 1 day limited time offer deal and strip the electronics and replace pinion gear and go from there. I appreciate it though!
Hey Could you help me with this model I have the same one.. I opened up the rear diff case it's totally exposed I took the gift diff gear out but the input gear I can't seem to figure out how you get that off what I'm trying to do is change my spurgear to metal...
I believe the input gear gets connected to the center dog bone in order for you to get to the input gear u would have to remove the motor mount center top brace then diff case along with the center dog bone

Could you use this frame for buggy build? Also any build videos, and any drilling required?
I'm sure you can just have to change the gears to metal cause a buggy requires way more tourque only builds I have is on electronics

After that u push the dog bone inwards the gearbox and out come the input gear from what I remember
Dont change your spur to metal, I once wanted to do the same but when your pinion and spur are both metal cause the metal to shred
