Sonny, I had to stop watching this on my TV to give you and Calvin a full review. This is the funniest best edited and enjoyable episode yet. You've done mindblowing epispodes before, but this one with its spectacular editing and the near-magical pairing of you and Calvin, It was like watching the "kings of comedy" from years past, it was so very entertaing and fun to watch. Both in your own right are amazing and so talented, but together you harken back to Martin and Lewis, and all of the greatest of all time. Your timing, love for eachother and innermost fun for what you are doing makes every viewer delight in your show. Thanks to the both of you and your crew for doing absolutely stellar work, you've created something timeless and totally delightful.
First ever over 1hr video I've watched on TH-cam, from 0:00 to the end without skipping a 10 second but rather had a few rewinds. You guys are so damn funny, keeps the show alive 😂👍🏽
I was thinking this was ok, then when you added Calvin you took it up 10 notches. It's like watching ping & pong. You both bounced off eachother perfectly. Loved the quit fire wit back & forth. You guys should go together more often.
Deep fried Oreos is one of the most surprisingly easy dishes I’ve ever made. All you do is dip an Oreo in any sort of pancake batter you want and fry it in at least a couple inches of oil till golden. The Oreo becomes super soft and gooey. Definitely recommend
This guest/guide and Sonny have the best chemistry. I love how they play off each other! He's the first guest I have seen who really gives Sonny a run for his money in terms of wit and energy. Good work :)

Even an Olympian would not eat this for weeks. I would love to eat like this for one day out of the month because the toll it would take on your body will be devastating
Hi Sonny and Calvin, I love the combination of you two presenting the food videos. It is so much fun watching you two. I hope to see more food videos of you.

@@123nadeemuu It is. that's why just that chilly run on American sweet corn. Lime, Chilly powder, chaat masala and maybe salt if needed (though chaat masala already has some salt) Indian corn needs to be roasted longer (not boiled)
Gosh... If I can afford it sometime, I'm totally going on a food pilgrimage to the Americas. The things they serve (and EAT) are like mental torture, for a Norwegian that grew up in a country where the elders still think black pepper is a bit too spicy, and where garlic was something we stopped bullying the Arabs for in the late 90's or so. Still Scandinavian cousine is such a tasteless affair, it explain why obesity haven't managed to become a problem here, although it totally would become one, if we had 1/10th of the options for snacks as places like USA with such a mix of various comfort foods.
We'd love to have you at the Minnesota State Fair. Lot of Scandanavians/Scandanavian influence up here in the north country. Oh, and we love our saunas!
I was about the 30k or so subscriber. I had moved to Vietnam from LA and he did a few episodes with a buddy of mines. It’s wonderful to watch this channel grow over the years. Still as entertaining and intriguing as his early days!

That blows my mind that it took him so long to be accepted to be aloud to sell his corn at a fair! When I was about 7 years old I literally asked for nothing but corn on the cob for my birthday, and that year was probably the best birthday I ever had, and I was not a deprived child one bit. We sat in our backyard under our giant tree and ate corn on the cob for hours it seems. But a lot of good hours! Next to a corn dog and fair Taffy, a roasted corn would be on the first 3 on my list to have to get at the fair. I love mine on a fire but on a barbecue is almost as good and definitely worth paying for over anything else.
Sorry, Dutchie here. We have had fried batter for centuries. We call them oliebollen: oil balls. Mix them with raisins as well an topped with powdered sugar. We eat them at New Years Eve. Deep fried chocolate bars have been common in fish and chip shops across New Zealand and australia for decades. Some shops let you bring in your own chocolate bars (incase the shop doesn't sell a particular brand) and will deep fry it for you
This one had me screaming at my phone “Please don’t eat all those cookies by yourself”😂 I love state fairs so much Great video you really captured the magic

Belgian here. I must say those guy's fries look just right. Had a ton of fries in north America, and it mostly was crap. Those are cooked properly with separate oil baths. Usually we use a longer cooking on the first and just a second other bath here after a short rest. Being on the clock though, three baths isnt a bad solution.

@Sean Costello I was not talking about land mass, bears, or even moose. I was referring to Minnesota's need to have the "biggest" things. Like Paul Bunyan his ox babe. Or our sculpture of the cherry and the spoon. Alaska wins, no contest if we are talking land mass. Alaska even beats mn for total shoreline. But mn comes in a distant second if we count lakes and rivers for shoreline.
Re-watching this video for the 8th time and in 2022. Am just loving the duo and the quality of production is just perfect, the food too. Best food show, keep up the good work.

Love me some cheese curds. I live in between Chicago and Wisconsin and it's nothing for me to drive into Wisconsin to get the best fried cheese curds. Totally worth the 30-minute trip
Having attended many State Fairs growing up in Minnesota, I can personally vouch for the decadently delicious Fair food. Bring your appetite..... and probably a defibrillator as well.
Omg I freaking love his videos. I watched them all day long even while I am at work. I would literally watch his old videos over and over again until a new notification comes to my phone❤️
Wisconsin truly does cheese right. I dont have the time myself, but my parents often cruise around the state in their corvette getting cheese at new creameries. It was most common for them during the shut downs.
I thought she said it took 8 or 10 years or something, which is odd. That is the type of menu items that gets approved much easier. Anything different, and any weird thing on a stick (like deep fried olives on a stick 😝), is a golden ticket to a fair.
1:08:25 That choke feeling when you inhale powdered sugar, is similar to the choke that happens when you're scuba diving and a drop of salt hits your uvula. It's probably the most common reason amateur scuba divers panic under water, because they can't cough it away like you do on land.
Binging Sonny's channel. Out of all my subscriptions to food shows, cake decorating, etc, this is my favorite show by far. I've learned so much just watching your travels and have added seasonings from around the world from watching the locals using it and You describing the taste. We love to eat through the vendors at fairs, seafood festivals, chili cook offs, German & Irish festivals, mmm, & my favorite - Ren fest faire. Oh yeah, The huge turkey legs are the best and sell for $7 at the MD Renaissance festival. It's our 14 year olds favorite meat on a stick, lol. Pumpkin chunkin & Ren festivals are the main places that sell the jumbo turkey legs around here.

Just two silly gooses 😂
Edit: gees?
Noah you look soooo much like your dad when he was young. You guys are doing an unbelievable job of carrying on Brian’s energy and I’m sooo excited for you guys to be living Brian and Lori’s dream. One proud dad watching you guys from the eternal plane. Have a great day Reptarium!!
The chemistry and camaraderie among the performers in this video were palpable, it made the content even more enjoyable.
Sonny & Calvin reunite at a food fair in the USA trying out different foods my doctor won't allow me to eat. Doesn't get any better than this!
I took my wife from Mexico to the Texas state fair and she was soo amazed. Taking my little girl this year . Great show, buddy 👏 👍 ❤️
You and Calvin have fun chemistry together ☺️ you both have a good sense of humor. Looking forward on seeing your next video together
Sonny and Calvin are a golden duo. You guys would change the game of reviewing food, if you keep working together!
seriously i couldn't stop laughing, golden chemistry
@Jesus is LORD lording on these nuts in your face
@@jordyn2896 How could you laugh with watery mouth when watching this 2 guys eating? :D
@@khikho2172 they are funny !

I’m absolutely addicted to watching best ever food Sonny’s personality is so great I love seeing that he has as many subscribers as he does because they all deserve it
I love Sonny and Calvin duo, they have the perfect comedic timing! The food has the "Wow" factor as well, not something you should eat repeatedly for weeks unless you are an Olympian or something...
Oh I see. How are you Margot? Hope friends and family are fine?
No Olympians would eat these unless they do weight lifting and them are the weights
Even an Olympian would not eat this for weeks. I would love to eat like this for one day out of the month because the toll it would take on your body will be devastating
Nah fuck Calvin off just sonny
Ending it with goku & gohan eating is so wholesome. I just started watching your content & you are the best father-son duo on TH-cam
Hi Sonny and Calvin, I love the combination of you two presenting the food videos. It is so much fun watching you two. I hope to see more food videos of you.

You two are HYSTERICAL together!! I’m a new fan of both! Plus it’s midnight after a day of eating salads and lean protein. Now I want junk… fried junk.
I love american sweet corn. But with Indian chilly rub, a little salt and chaat masala and Rub it with lime. That is just tangy and sweet goodness.
Indian corn is too stiff and hard
@@123nadeemuu It is. that's why just that chilly run on American sweet corn.
Lime, Chilly powder, chaat masala and maybe salt if needed (though chaat masala already has some salt)
Indian corn needs to be roasted longer (not boiled)
You and Calvin worked this video to be awesome. You two are a great compliment to each other. Loved the video. Thanks
Even as an American most of my vacations are based around food 😂
@@matts4025 I know what suitcase I should hide in then. 🙂
@Elvenkind
ok boomer
"mental torture"😅🤣 excellent!
Yeah man. Sonny and his team are great. Oh and how’s Vietnam. I’ve been wanting to move to SE asia from Tennessee haha
Been following you for a long time. Production has gone way up, a measure of your success. Thanks for sharing your food experiences, and thanks to your colleagues for making it even better. Cheers.
I've watched this a number of times. Love it every time. Never stop.
I've watched this before but just had to watch again. I love it when you do shows with Calvin...he is perfect partner for you!

I'm done after 5 minutes. Too long and boring
I have enjoyed every single minute of this video! The creativity, the amount of fun, the lively location and exceptional food. I watched this a bit late and I only regret not having seen this sooner.

Amy 🌹
Corn 😞
Amy do you have any other social networking account like Instagram , i wanna to talk to you
Have you tried Esquíte? It's a Mexican street food that's hot corn. Or Mexican corn on the cob?

Sorry, Dutchie here. We have had fried batter for centuries. We call them oliebollen: oil balls. Mix them with raisins as well an topped with powdered sugar. We eat them at New Years Eve. Than the Coca Cola: I make a coca cola cake and it tastes amazing. Love this channel! So fun. Come visit me in the Dominican Republic anytime
You Guys need to be together EVERY episode!!!! I’m a big fan of the show normally but this pairing really pushes it to a new level!
Hello pretty lady 👋
Top 🔝🎩🔝🔝🎩🎩🎩
Good night 🌉🌉🌉😴😴😴
yes that right
👍👍
I absolutely loved this hour plus long video , I was glued to my phone watching it ! Much kudos to the team that composed this video . I would love to see more videos of this length from you guys soon ! 👏🏼👏🏼
Hello pretty lady 👋
Man I love the collaborations with Calvin, you both together makes the episode a must watch
Totally
Major facts
I had this playing in my room in the background on my tv. I thought I was listening to a cartoon. This dude has a great voice for a cartoon character. He should be a voice actor.
You two do make a good couple, comedic wise that is. Appreciate the subtle adult humor along with the gastronomic details.
Deep fried chocolate bars have been common in fish and chip shops across New Zealand and australia for decades. Some shops let you bring in your own chocolate bars (incase the shop doesn't sell a particular brand) and will deep fry it for you
Love that you guys actually don’t lie when something tastes bad.
Hi Vergina how are you?
This one had me screaming at my phone “Please don’t eat all those cookies by yourself”😂 I love state fairs so much
Great video you really captured the magic
I want to keep being healthy but also want to try all the INSANE food Sonny introduced. Need to have long enough plan to stay in 🇺🇸 next time I visit there so that I can eat all of them little by little😂💓
Hi
Sonny actually used to be fat. Now he does this job, and manages to stay in shape. You'll be fine! Try the fried candy bars.
@@willlastnameguy8329 whoa that sounds good. I tried fried Oreos before and it’s tasty. Ever had elephant ears?
goooddd
Hi how are you?
Calvin is the best co-host ! I love your content guys, keep going like that !
It's not a co-host thing...
It's a guest thing.
I love this show so much. Awesome to see Calvin make an appearance as always especially in the states
Calvin is so funny, great chemistry with Sonny. Who doesn't LOVE state fair food ?
Belgian here. I must say those guy's fries look just right. Had a ton of fries in north America, and it mostly was crap.
Those are cooked properly with separate oil baths. Usually we use a longer cooking on the first and just a second other bath here after a short rest. Being on the clock though, three baths isnt a bad solution.
I love you two together ❤️😂😂 When I see you two I know it’s gonna be a good episode…
God, that funnel cake burger almost gave me a heart attack and raised my cholesterol just looking at it. I want four.
Make it 8
Make it 16
Make it 32 and a add coffin while you are at it.
Honestly Food Network tier show except…
It’s better. An amazing combo of a great, genuine host in Sonny and his always amazing co-hosts plus his ability to bring out the best of their personalities and the fact that Sonny is genuine and his team knows, understands, and is in touch with his fanbase! Also have to give a HUGE well deserved shoutout to the editor and production team!
Food network missed the boat, he had a spot on there and they said no. I bet theyre kickin themselves in the ass for that.
14:58 “Santa clause would murder a child for this” 😂🤣😅
Please don't get Santa hooked up on this. :D
I’m glad she said the smoked turkey legs taste like ham. That’s why I love them.
Hi Wendy how are you?
As a Minnesotan, I think it's funny how we have a lot of "biggest" things! The fair is iconic, and so is the mall of America!
trying to compete with Texas for the title of "biggest".. meanwhile, alaska's laughing at both of you!
Wow, how could your list of biggest things exclude "The Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota"? It's goddamn iconic.
thiis is my comfort channel. The editor is 20/10
Re-watching this video for the 8th time and in 2022. Am just loving the duo and the quality of production is just perfect, the food too. Best food show, keep up the good work.
I love when you guys put up these compiled videos of your video series. They're just so awesome. I put them on all the time when I'm doing work. This is another one to add to my Playlist =D

Hi Desi. How’re you?
You have a real talent that keeps us all engaged and happy day-to-day. You honestly make this world a better place
good
Best ever good review is the only channel where I can watch a 1 hour and 44 minute video and be entertained the whole time
4:46 that blur on the corns though 😂 #genius
I love how the views in this video is growing. It was 7M when I first saw it. Now it's 12. This episode deserves all the love!
The editing skills are on another level. It adds so much to the viewing experience.
Sonny and Calvin....
Perfect Comedic duo
Sonny and Calvin are the best fair combo by far 😁
Personally I'm not into sweet food but this was crazy seeing the different types of foods. I'm more of a savory person.
me too give me a bag of chips over ice cream any day.
I'm not really into sweets either but I would take ice cream over chips 😂
Hi Rosa how are you?
Calvin and Sonny are so funny together. Wish I could be there laughing and trying all the yummy fair food with them. 😀
Love me some cheese curds. I live in between Chicago and Wisconsin and it's nothing for me to drive into Wisconsin to get the best fried cheese curds. Totally worth the 30-minute trip
Hi how are you?
Having attended many State Fairs growing up in Minnesota, I can personally vouch for the decadently delicious Fair food. Bring your appetite..... and probably a defibrillator as well.
I actually watched the whole video, I liked this, please do more!
The energy and music hits were insanity! So good!
52:38 I love how people walking away heard his joke and are turning back and doing a double take, then laughing. Sonny is funny!
Omg I freaking love his videos. I watched them all day long even while I am at work. I would literally watch his old videos over and over again until a new notification comes to my phone❤️
Calvin is AWESOME...The chemistry between he and Sonny is palatable. so glad they got together in home soil
Hi Beth how are you?
Cannot get enough of your show Sonny super surprised i missed this one. Epic content 🎉❤
Wisconsin truly does cheese right. I dont have the time myself, but my parents often cruise around the state in their corvette getting cheese at new creameries. It was most common for them during the shut downs.
My roommate drives from Minneapolis to Mauston just for Carr Valley cheese. It's SO worth a few hours in the car!
Hi how are you?
I like how roasted Street corn took 5 years to approve but Buffalo chicken doughskit with Frank's frosting probably approved in 3 minutes 😆

I thought she said it took 8 or 10 years or something, which is odd. That is the type of menu items that gets approved much easier. Anything different, and any weird thing on a stick (like deep fried olives on a stick 😝), is a golden ticket to a fair.

Hi how are you?
Love this duo. I can watch you guys forever and always get entertained! Every thing you put in your videos is super fun, fresh and YUMMMM!
👋Hello, Sangeeta
How are you doing?
It's a pleasure meeting you.
Uuuu extended video. Niiiiice. I am going to make coffee and make it cozy and I'm ready 😄
that what i am doing to
1:08:25 That choke feeling when you inhale powdered sugar, is similar to the choke that happens when you're scuba diving and a drop of salt hits your uvula.
