Yeah, I totally agree with you! Other customers were definitely cheering a lot and making this video memorable. If there were any guys who weren't following already, they are following now for sure! Adam wins everybody's hearts with his genuine attitude and humility. It's awesome to see someone like him being so down to earth and grateful.
As an English man, i'm not sure i could cope with it all the time if i lived there, but how happy and interactive all the other people are when you go do these challenges in America really adds a lot to them. I mean the vids in the UK are great as well, and you do get some people here who will have a bit of banter with you, but it's never quite the same as the American vids when you end up with tables filled with strangers all cheering you on.
I live in Chicago, been here all my life. I've never seen a food challenge attempted. Just because they're available doesn't mean it's common to see them attempted
Chicago native here. I’ve had Lucky’s plenty of times after Cubs games. Always get the Two Bagger. To eat THREE of any of their sandwiches is witchcraft. You’re a legend.

I think it's just evidence that Americans just like to celebrate anything that gives them joy -- we have a national championship for many niche, if not odd, "sports"/hobbies like corn hole/bags and foosball, to tag.
America is much more friendly and less dangerous than some people like to make it seem. You have your jerks everywhere but we're just trying to survive like everyone else.

I lived in Chicago from 2011 to 2015.. I lived an worked minutes away from Lucky's. Me and the dudes in the bike shop I worked in used to go there all the time. Great sandwiches. Love your channel, keeping up dude!
Beard would do OK in any of the bad areas but the worst (CPD doesn't go even) nobody but social workers and utilities go unmolested. Been there done that worked a contract for CHA and social workers went out and told everyone if we were messed with at all we would turn off all the plumbing and not come back. No water or toilets. Watched a couple idiots try to start but were beaten by residents. Momma with a frying pan and a backed up toilet is NOT to be messed with.
If i ran into Beard randomly, my life would be complete. I'm so jealous of the people that just happen to be there when he arrives. I could meet a thousand celebrities and not give a crap, but meeting Beard would be the best thing ever

Hiya. Personal trainer and licensed nutritionist here. The NUMBER ONE thing you can do to shed bodyfat is go hit the weights. I'm not joking. The more muscle mass you have the more calories you burn just existing. Do it for yourself. Hit the weights HARD and keep at it.

@@helloidharbl6753 I have done it all. Weights, cardio, working out 7 days a week, every clean eating diet. I have been to two different nutritionist. They tell me I am doing what I supposed to be doing. None of it works. What I need is a trainer who will accept being paid by the pounds I loose. I have been through so much that I am willing to try anything and stick to any plan someone tells me will work. When I tell the trainers this or when I refuse to buy their MLM supplements. All of a sudden it is radio silence. Trainers need to put their money where their mouth is.
People always try to talk down on Chicago, but it’s a beautiful city with wonderful people. It’s still the Midwest and it has that vibe in most places! I hope you enjoyed your time there.
It must be wild to have people recognize you all over the world when you walk in the place lol. The Beards charisma is unmatched. Every person ive shown these videos to in the last few years is still hooked. My dad waits for the videos to drop and it comes above everything else lol.
I love the ceiling lights that highlight the atmosphere of the room. You dominated those sandwiches! And the icing on the cake was the grand way the customers cheered you on.

I didn’t expect anything less when it came to the hospitality and friendliness you got there. Going to see Mets road games at Wrigley is always a highlight of the season.

Chicago is one city I regret not getting to in my travels around the country as a youth, now even more viewing the people and their enthusiasm for their fellow man. Hope you're better soon. I got a bad update coming, I feel it, but there's hoping. Beard makes me chuckle. Sometimes they make me so hungry though, I just really need fried chicken, perfectly salted chips, pizza and a turkey cheese melt in my face hole right now and I can't get it. I CANNA GET IT.
Saving the chicken for last. I had doubts about the hot sauce, but hadn't even considered the texture difference or how chicken can sometimes dry/gum up the works as it were, especially if you're trying to finish it all within a time limit.

Chicago is one city I regret not getting to in my travels around the country as a youth, now even more viewing the people and their enthusiasm for their fellow man. Went to a Pearl Jam concert at the New Orleans Jazz Fest that was outdoors and a little after the BP oil spill. Epic memories. So glad I got to see them outdoors and live!

Saving the chicken for last. I had doubts about the hot sauce, but hadn't even considered the texture difference or how chicken can sometimes dry/gum up the works as it were, especially if you're trying to finish it all within a time limit.
