So they are baking an average 2300 pizzas a day? Maybe 230 not 2300..Doesn't look that big to do that volume. I clicked on google maps link and saw the pictures of restaurant. How are they are baking that much? Doesn't seem possible.

The one and only thing about these videos that i am impressed with is the cleanliness of this kitchen. The cleanliness tells me that 1) i can eat here without caution and 2) because of the cleanliness i would love the food. If somebody is willing to put the time into keeping the kitchen this clean then they absolutely can cook with the best of them. As a professional myself you"d be surprised with the lax attitude nowadays with some selling food that can be harmful to your health. And that's the simple truth. And the pizza's look KILLER!

I've been a professional chef for 20 years - and what I love about watching these Korean videos, is the LAYERING of flavors and techniques they use to achieve the end results. I can imagine how each step tastes, and each ingredient adding its little flair to the dish. Marinate in Mustard, Sous Vide, then Slather with homemade sauce, then broil, then smoke, then slice an put on top of an already delicious looking pizza...hell, yes. !!!! :) 😊

Agreed - I could tell by the size of the cuts of carrot/onion/celery that they were going into a stock, but i didn't pick them for roasting it with thyme+anchovy oil first to create extra layers of flavour as you stated. Then adding wine/sugar to this beef+vege stock to produce liquid gold - really huge attention to flavour at this restaurant. Inspiring stuff.

Well, you should now that God Himself in the past authorized Noah to eat every flesh and every green plants of the Earth (Genesis 9), so, there is no problem to eat swine or shrimp, you're not going to hell for that, it's ridiculous (Matthew 15:11, 16-20).
If you don't like to eat those, then it's fine, but don't force people to follow those Jewish commandments, because us Gentiles are not obligated to follow them.
Do you want to follow Jesus Christ? Then don't follow the law of Moses, otherwise you're a debtor to the whole Law, which of course it's impossible to fulfill through the flesh, in that case you will be condemned into hell.
Go read the whole book of Galatians my friend, you're wrong in so many ways. This matter was already discussed by all the apostles of Christ of the New Testament 2,000 years ago, so I'm not going to discuss this thing anymore with you, it's an already finished topic.
God will guide you to the Truth if you wholeheartedly follow Jesus Christ by the faith (not by the law).
For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.” But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.” Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them.” Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit *through faith.*

“Buddy’s Pizza, the home of the Detroit-Style pizza. It’s been making square pizza since 1946, when Gus Guerra jammed some dough in one of the industrial Blue Steel pans that were ubiquitous in the automotive factories in Detroit. The pans were used to ferry smaller parts around the shop floor, but Guerra coated one with a little oil and boom, the Detroit-style pizza was born. The steel is an excellent conductor of heat, which allows for an evenly baked crispy crust and that wonderful crunch of burnt cheese on top.” An excerpt from an internet article on the history of “Detroit style pizza”.

I ate Italian, verace Napoletana pizza in U.S, Italy and Germany. But I also like pizza from other parts of Italy not just Napoli. In the U.S Americans don`t like Napoletana type pizza very much. Sometimes the crust comes burnt because of high temp oven. And they think it is burnt. And another reason is, they import everything from san marzano tomato sauce to flour from Italy. And this increases the price to $15-20, which more than popular places like pielogy, pizza press, etc. where it costs 10 bucks. But this Korean pizza...it really is disgusting!

    • @Drakenrahll
      @Drakenrahll 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@deecee2174 Yeah there's deep caramelization on the edges, but it's not burnt. It's going to be crispy, nutty, toasty cheese. The one thing that people tend to get wrong in other places with "Detroit" style pizza is the sauce. Most places here in Detroit do not put the sauce on the top in a line like you see in so many photos or videos. A few places do, and the chain the originated the style, Buddy's Pizza, does do it that way. Most places around here though still put the sauce directly on the uncooked dough and build it like a normal pizza. It just goes edge to edge.

We will never get anything that good in the West again.
Somebody who has worked as Quality Assurance in the food and beverage industries for 20 years now, the stories I can say about the downfall of quality in brands and products would shock anyone.

I love the pace of this video... feel like I could almost do this. You see so many of these where the cooks are moving at near light speed, and while awe inspiring I get tired just watching them :D. The care and precision with which he prepares each pizza is wonderful to watch. I am mesmerized.

I have lived near Detroit and the level and variety of toppings would make any Detroiter / Michigan resident jealous. The cheese pizza alone is insane. I appreciated seeing how they replicated the crust in a way that might be replicated at home.

it's hardly resembling pizza at this point. There was practically a whole steak on one of them. It's looked pretty good, but it's not pizza.

@@larrysmac that sounds about right. And I don't mind what it evolved into... actual Detroit style. Dough, Parm, Mozz, Sauce, minimal toppings.

It really looks like delicious food. I would be worried about having a heart attack after eating too much of it, but getting there would be fun. I'd love to try a bit of each, at least.

Being a former native to Detroit I can definitely say they look like the typical style pizzas I've seen at local restaurants now only just with a Korean touch. Good job!
