The strongest argument to watching Star Wars in release order is: Episode 1's speed running at the beginning. If I saw that as my introduction to force powers... I'd spend the next 8.95 movies yelling at the screen wondering why the Jedi aren't constantly speed running around. Head cannon: Leia inadvertently uses force speed in the show Kenobi during all of her chase scenes.
Some argue that Luke jumping out of the carbonite freezing chamber in ESB was Jedi speed. Truth is it was a stupid power to give them in the first place! I mean, are Quicksilver and The Flash Jedi Knights too?

@41:21 Actually they did. That’s what the imperials were bringing on board after. It was a giant machine that required set up. Except the heroes knocked them out while they were setting up. They even screamed “hey can you give us a hand up here?” To the two guarding stormtroopers and knocked them out. That’s where Luke and Han got their armour.

I will never understand how there being an exhaust port is a “plot hole.” How else should the Death Star release excess heat and whatever else needs to be expelled from a power source capable of running a ship and shooting a planet destroying laser? It’s not like it was super easy to destroy either. The first time was like a 1/100,000,000 shot and most of the people died just trying to get to the port, and Luke would have failed too if Han didn’t intervene. The second time was insane because you actually had to fly an entire ship inside and basically fly a flawless run through narrow tunnels to get in and out. It took some of the best pilots in the rebellion to pull it off, including Lando. Not only that, it was parked by a shield generator that needed to be brought down before any of that could happen, so it’s not like the Empire didn’t even consider the idea that they could destroy the Death Star under normal circumstances. All in all, the Emperor made some solid moves to lure the rebellion into what should have been an impossible battle.

Ryan: Do you have a pitch meeting for me?
Also Ryan: No, but I think if we put a bunch of old pitch meetings back to back everyone will think it's a new pitch meeting.
Ryan: Putting things back to back is tight!
Give him a break. I think the next one is going to be number 300 so he's probably working on something special. This was just to tide us over until then.
haha but also, this is compiled in his own channel
They are two different people!!
...one of them wears glasses
The Boba Fett bit absolutely took me out lmao "He's gonna bounce off a wall like a cartoon character and die immediately" *shows him rolling towards Susejo's mouth* Absolute gold.
I love how Darth Maul freezes in astonishment at Obi-Wan's flip. (so he can get lightsabred in half.)
That's probably why Yoda put so much emphasis on flipping during Luke's training... The Siths greatest weakness.
The Clone Wars series deserves a pitch meeting
Yep. The title is false bc it's not every serie
And the Holiday Special.
They really do look so similar! I wonder how long they have known each other!
This is far and away the best way to experience the full story
A pitch meeting for National Treasure 1&2 would be tight!. The Clone Wars series deserves a pitch meeting.
"There're gonna bring a child to a warzone" may be my favourite line
Star Wars has definitely become hit or miss for me, personally but I still love Revenge Of The Sith.
It’s also generational, whatever you grew up with is typically the benchmark
Hey I'm going to need you to get all the way off my back about it.
Cuz it's awesome lol
Rogue one is top three for sure but Solo story is like bottom three.
@@SamJ.J. That is acceptable
I can’t sleep without some white noise(usually youtube or netflix) so i made a playlist of these pitch meetings. dealing with ads really makes it hard so i prefer the long compilations so thank you for doing this! If you ever do spider-man compilation that would be cool too!
How do u sleep with pitch meetings? They are so energetic
@@melofy-vibes Super easy, barely an inconvenience!
@@ammo7204 fair enough!
@@EEEEEEEE i swear to god if you develop a cult following I'm leaving this world
I do the same thing, pitch meetings are my favourite
@41:21 Actually they did. That’s what the imperials were bringing on board after. It was a giant machine that required set up. Except the heroes knocked them out while they were setting up. They even screamed “hey can you give us a hand up here?” To the two guarding stormtroopers and knocked them out.
That’s where Luke and Han got their armour.
Man, the AA meeting with Producer Guy and the others was so hilarious. 🤣🤣🤣 (AA Animated affected)
I was thinking how difficult it must be to script and edit these, then I realised it must be super-easy, barely an inconvenience.
Staying up waaaaaaay toooo late to watch all the Star Wars pitch meetings is tight
Putting together a pitch meeting compilation is tight!
It was super easy, barely an inconvenience.
the fact it's all painfully accurate 🤣
Yeah Lmao
"he's from the Star Wars Holiday Special!"
You really do have a fantastic grasp of comdedic writing. That's just a great line, and not one the average person would think of.
And the therapy tangent, that's fantastic.
every time i watch the obi-wan one the line "He's from the holiday special" gets me by surprise every time XD
Please do a Pitch Meeting for Cobra Kai! Season 5 drops tomorrow at 0800 UK time and I'm really pumped! Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy, barely an inconvenience!
Watching compilations of Pitch Meetings is very easy, barely an inconvenience.
It’s super easy barely an inconvenience
“He’s not wrong.”
This response guy’s responses are so on point. Tight, one might say.
Oh man response guy is TIGHT
How could it be EVERY Star Wars movie and show if there aren't any pitch meetings for The Clone Wars and Rebels?
You need to pitch “The Boys”
Amazon has a growing cinematic universe stemming from The Boys and it’s a great watch with a ton of things to rip apart at the same time!
Never seen the Boys yet and I already agree
They should start with Billy Butchers Australian sounding supposed Cockley accent... great show and good acting from Karl Urban but the accent is dreadful , I'm not an actor but I can do loads of accents surely he could put some effort in
The Boys is a good example of how the world would actually be if super heros were real
@@CaptainMisery86 invincible, the cartoon series is the same sort of concept but even better ! And it's produced by Seth Rogan and his mate Evan as well
@@CaptainMisery86 I mean, that is the premise.
I like that you can see the character development of Screenwriter guy and the producer in this production
Am I the only one who wants the disembodied ghost head to appear in more pitch meetings? Disembodied ghost heads are tight!
Yoda's training was building up luke's cardio, while also teaching him the flips he needs to be a jedi
For the sheer utter ridiculousness of it, please do a Pitch Meeting for The 5th Element 😂😂😂
I’ll always love the ‘I said 40 this time’ line. Hell, all of it. You smash it, Ryan. Cheers from Australia!
Hey ryan I’d love pitch meetings for the first 3 Indiana Jones movies 😃😃
I think you mean the ONLY Indiana Jones movies.
He might finally do them now that there's a new one coming out next summer
‘… hair like a Continental breakfast’ cracks me up, for some reason!
Best part is the “it’s like two old guys that woke up from a nap with canes” 😂 😂
Ohhh, making me think the 300th Pitch Meeting had dropped but then surprising me with a compilation instead is TIGHT!
"Super easy, barely an inconvenience" has become a huge running joke in my family, even the pastor of my church said it once! Thanks so much for the content! ❤️
Oh quoting Ryan George is TIGHT!
I'm holding out for the Every Star Wars Movie Pitch Meeting in Machete Order, myself.
- He just makes a very compelling argument and that convinces him.
- Well, what does he say to him?
- He says "Do it!"
- Oh, very convincing!
- Yeayeayea!
I always love the balls of the writer to just blast theough the slight objections the boss has like its nothing
Wow, all great but you can tell how he has improved. Love to see.
Can we get Invincible pitch meeting?
It would be TIGHT
Such a great escape… thank you Ryan and keep ‘em coming! These compilations really show how much you’ve honed your craft over the years.
"You're so beautiful"
"It's only because I'm so in love with you."
"So love has blinded you"
"Well that wasn't exactly what I meant"
"But it's probably true"
I was FLIPPING BORED with that scene.
I wasn't bored, my insides were performing origami
Dude look how young Ryan looks in the prequel series. It's like he took a time machine! Now that's commitment
These are really good. If possible, please add The Caravan of Courage (1984) and Ewoks Battle for Endor (1985). I sat through them, I deserve to see the pitch meeting.
Always asked myself why obi and qui-gon didn’t stay on the control ship and just disassemble the droid control.
...so the movie can happen
@@HolyGhostofBobbyLupo Well, okay then!
hey Ryan, very close to 300 pitch meetings! we demand a special edition! no preassure!
Please do a pitch meeting on:
#1 - The Room
#2 - Birdemic: Shock and Terror
#3 - Battlefield Earth
Good point: Han Solo doesn't believe in Jedi arts, but Chewbacca fought alongside one, in fact, the most powerful of all, Yoda. 😅
