I agree. I don’t want him to be force sensitive. Not everyone has to be force sensitive in this galaxy. Plus, Din gets his butt kicked constantly. I would’ve been better Finn being force sensitive, because they kept hinting at it.... only to lead to freaking nothing....
Mando Saves Grogu because he reminds him of himself: a helpless foundling. I’m pretty sure he has a flashback right before shutting off the Razor Crest and returning to save him.
I think Yoda saved him from the temple... well it's same kind of species or might even be his baby... and than he either lost him or gave him away in order to save him. Yoda knew he won't live long enough to see him grow up. And maybe when mando got him, the crime syndicate were hired to actually protect him. And Yoda was the one who paid for his protection. Ashoka said that she only knew one person of his species so it must be somehow connect him with Yoda.
My theory is that it was Palp himself because he had Vader and all that but Palp was really smart guy so he probably took Grogu since he knew he is same species like Yoda (really powerful) and then he hide him somewhere. But it's just a theory but I don't think any Jedi saved him because everyone we knew were dead. And Obi and Yoda well we saw them so... xDd Also I don't want some new jedi or someone who just took him it would be so boring to me lol
important point no ones talking about. ahsoka says first that he was hidden. im pretty sure that means hidden by someone light side. then his memory goes dark. thats when someone or some thing dark side got him afterwards. peace
Possibly that Thrawn has slain a Jedi that has been keeping and training Grogu. Hence; he was hidden by a Jedi till he saw Thrawn kill him/her infront of him, Only for Thrawn to sense the fear in Grogu and found him.
amesw ael this is very specific but in Jedi fallen order, there’s a cutscene where that woman talks about her past, and her padawan goes with some younglings to save them from the purge. She says the padawan died, but nothing about the younglings. Could grogu have been among them?
Please never end this podcast series! my theory is that the purggil that travel hyperspace and took thrawn & ezra actually went to tython. Luke, on his quest for Jedi relics, coincidentally also went to Tython, meeting Ezra and Thrawn. Thrawn ended up stealing Luke's ship. there's no way the empire would know where Thrawn is but the Jedi wouldnt know where Ezra is if they are both still together, which we have no reason to believe they aren’t still together
“Dave this is George, George Lucas” “Sorry it’s a really bad line who is this?” “G..org... Lu...s” “Who?” “G..r..g...u”. “Grogu?” “Click” “John! John!!! I have it!!!!”
That theory about why Jango said “possibly” is awesome, I totally believe that was Lucas’ intention in the script. Good example of the neat little details he put into the prequels that got overlooked.
4:20 - Josh "The other thing that's crazy thing about it is, Ahsoka might not even be the craziest thing that happens in the episode (show). Ahsoka might not be even the craziest reveal." This was a spot on prediction. Had stuff on autoplay and this old stream came up. Its weird listening to it again cause it feels like just yesterday watching it and yet it was over a year ago.
Anyone notice a lil after 1:27:00 when they talk about a round table with Favroe and Filoni, Theory LITERALLY turns red just THINKING about talking to them face to face!! CLASSIC!!! These guys r real sweaty as fans.
That would be cool, but I think it runs the risk of being too "out there" for mainstream appeal, I imagine they'll play it safe for live action an do stuff like the Bendu in animation, books and comics...hope I'm wrong though cos live action Bendu would be sick, especially if they get Tom Baker back to voice him
@@justinbebsmus121 dave Floni (please excuse me if I miss spelt his name, had to look it up) has said Ahsoka likely met up with bendo at some point well looking for Ezra, If I recall correctly it was in the same way he said Ahsoka was 'probably' alive during the rise of Skywalker and just mediating to speck to ray from far away
Loving this, but had to hit pause at 26:40 because I haven't read all the Thrawn books yet. SO much to catch up on, but have been loving it and following the channel. Since this episode and realizing what all of it meant (having watched a few seasons of Clone Wars by that point and being familiar with Rebels enough to know about Thrawn), I've finally finished Clone Wars, Rebels, The Dark Disciple, and the Ahsoka book. Watching Bad Batch and moving to the Thrawn books now and then I think I'll feel like I'm finally caught up enough to start catching up on this Podcast. Thanks for such great content and conversations!
My own personal opinion about Ahsoka deciding to to train Grogu is based on 2 factors: First - Her own experience as a Padawan and the way she parted ways with the Jedi. She overtly states that she has seen the risk of attachments, meaning Annakin and her duel with Vader/Annakin. But secondly, that she is not technically a Jedi as she was never graduated and made a Jedi, BUT, more importantly, she never had a Padawan to train to acceptance, herself - so she would be, at best, a poor choice to train Grogu. I think it is clear that she does regret not being able to train him, but that she is bowing to necessity, and she is hoping that a true Jedi (one who has trained a Padawan) may find him and undertake the responsibility.
Josh's point about your channel is something I have noticed as a fan of yours as well. I always find myself back at your page over other SW TH-camrs, you can tell how deeply you truly understand the universe and how much work you put into keeping up with the stories and you really do make everything so approachable and easy to follow, for me, your comic series is a prime example of this. I never read or kept up with them until I found your channel because the way you bring them to life and explain their position in the timeline/universe is wonderful and I personally have never left one of your videos confused or overwhelmed by the sweatiness of the lore of such a massive and complex universe. If anything I think SW should hire you.
@@paranormalgamesstudios Oh yeah 100% man! I just read it as you were asking him to be added into the current story and I was like "...okay whos gonna tell him" 😂
@@benoh8321 Oh na I actually would prefer less Jedi stuff in the Mandalorian and more underbelly gritty stuff, I like the Jedi stuff as some tasty pepper and salt for flave. But in other series or even a new trilogy, Luke Skywalker full tilt.
@Kylo Ren see I actually would like to se Din force sensitive, only for the reason he is a mando. Not a Jedi, but just force sensitive. I like it because obviously the only force sensitive mandalorian we know of is tarre vizla (unless I’m forgetting someone) also with din being a child of the watch and him being in the house of vizla( because deathwatch is the vizla house) would just seem cool. But in general i would like to see Din with the dark saber while not being force sensitive. But if for some reason they do make him force sensitive, I wouldn’t complain
@@danielpaquet3963 Please god no. The whole point of this show being as loved as it is, is due to it being grounded and relatable. The world building is so much more valuable than having everyone being pointlessly force sensitive.
In my humble Opinion Mike Zeroh is one of the worst offenders when it comes to clickbait Star Wars BS. You guys are the total opposite, keep up the good work, love both of your channels.
He is the absolute worst. MZ has wasted lots of people's time with his nonsense. I subbed to him after Force Awakens and un subbed a week later. He put up 6 videos a day of nonsense and that was it for me. The worst.
I swear this Den Of Nerds bloke just lowers the tone and quality of Theory’s content. Theory is great and his partnership with Collider was cool, but this den of nerds partnership just isn’t working for me. Josh just pulls shit out of his ass and calls it a theory.
At lest Josh has some knowledge. Marc has *literally* no clue about what he's talking about. I mean he thought Wattoo belonged to the Hutt species......
I think we’ll get Luke at some point. There was an article a while back stating Mark Hamill signed a deal with Lucasfilm to use his likeness, which would then cover the de-ageing aspect.
My favorite thing about this show is that you two guys can make such a great conversation that it just lasts 2.5 to 3.h hours I'm still waiting for the first 4 hour episode... May The Force Be With You Always
I didn’t really feel that I listened to Josh’s first reasons for it and I saw it differently to how he did it sort of leaves a bad taste in my mouth I don’t see the need for him to be force sensitive he holds his own quite nicely
I love how no matter what, every episode becomes at some point a debate about the Sequels xD. It's relatable though I also get triggered easily like theory does about Luke and TLJ
@Magic Cookies this isn't a bad idea! but the way the commentator was suggesting. Let's have a backstory of Ben Solo... why? lol to validate the sequel and to fix it's problems? Youre setting yourself up to fail, the sequels was highly unpopular, why are we trying to create a show to fix it? So silly... but I'd love to see an interaction with Luke!
Exactly. I dont want to see luke or any skywalker anywhere near this series. Star wars started as the skywalker saga but it does not *have* to continue to be so. The last thing i want is more skywalker bs. Disney ruined the skywalkers and NOBODY could fix them from that massive of a fuck up.
How about make a show having a younger Palpatine and go into his history under the tutelage of Plageuis? Since they failed to delve into that in the Sequels...
That should have happened in the sequels, that should have been the extent of Sidious in the trilogy. They ruined Sidious and everything else just by bringing him back
I love how no matter what, every episode becomes at some point a debate about the Sequels xD. It's relatable though I also get triggered easily like theory does about Luke and TLJ
This makes me so happy I have no one to really talk to about SW and extended universe lore I'm over here screaming like, "Yesss! That's what I thought too!"
Filoni said that it is "possible" that this episode is taking place before the end of Rebels. Which makes sense. If that is true, we forget about Ezra as the Jedi who will "sense" Grogu. Three more episodes for the season and already it is like Sam Witwer said. It is blowing the fans' minds!
If that's true, Dave needs to get with Lucasfilm's Story Group (gag), talk to Hidalgo (?), and get all the websites that have latest version of Canon to change it. Cuz for last 3 years, Canon says that Ahsoka arrived in Lothal in 5 ABY (soon after Battle of Endor in 4 ABY). Same websites and Lucasfilm say that Mando Show takes place in 9 ABY, five years after Endor. Google search: Fandom Search for Ezra.
@@BoandDebbieMulder Maybe they are considering to change it. Because if Ahsoka had indeed found Ezra (she's been searching for 5 years?) then she would tell Mando to go and find him. I don't think they have specified when Ahsoka and Sabine started the search. From what I've heard they are all just assumptions. Is it official, from LucasFilms, that Ahsoka went to Lothal one year after the events of Episode 6?
@@evanskan6326 Hey there. Since 2018, Official Canon lists 5 ABY as the year Ahsoka & Sabine began their Search for Ezra. There is something i have been thinking about: Maul was the Ruler of Mandalore, Ahsoka didnt kill him and he didnt surrender, so he is still the ruler. Later, Kenobi killed Maul in Tatooine. A few years later, VADER killed Kenobi, which makes Vader the Ruler of Mandalore. Then, Vader died passively and Peacefully, by his wounds, so I guess the title passes to Vader's Heir- His first born- Luke. Is it possible that Luke is the Ruler of Mandalore? I have just thought of it and I couldnt get it of my mind. PLEASE HELP!
What I really enjoy about listening to this podcast is how both of your have your own opinions and you’re both not just sitting there agreeing with each other on every little thing.
Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni= Balance in the Force. Take a fresh, simple story into the Star Wars universe and "once in a while" sprinkle lore/cannon that is applicable. Ties everything together.
Hell yeah I listen to these all day at work. I’ve gone back and been listening to all of them in order. It’s still fun hearing you two shoot the shit even though I’ve seen the season and knowing what happens.
Rosario Dawson at moments, when she would grin or curl her lip a particular way, it was soooo Ahsoka Tano, just perfect. This episode was so amazing for so many reasons. People getting caught up with her head tails being a little short, really just helps illustrate how ridiculous some SW fans are.
this channel/streams on monday really bring me back to my childhood and just loving star wars it’s a great time to be a fan of star wars and star wars theory!
Firstly the fact that they are being tracked makes every episode thrilling until we see gideon finally show up. Also would it not be the ultimate closing of a full circle with Ahsoka meeting the son of her master who failed her and luke telling her that he was redeemed and he defeated sidious. Good video guys.
I would think Ahsoka feels like she failed him by not being there when he may have needed her especially since she says "I won't leave you not this time" when they duel, and to find out that he came back and sacrificed himself to save luke and destroy the sith would relieve her
Can anyone imagine Grogu being trained and then riding on Mando’s back just deflecting bolts with the force and sending them back at enemies. Bro that would be amazing.
Yeah. But not what these comments think. He's Rogan in the sense he started out super cool now he's getting full of himself and still doesn't understand Interacting with Josh in a healthy manner. He belittles Josh and doesn't even understand he's doing it.
Im just happy that this reminds why i fell i love with starwars in the first place. Was so excited seeing this show, have not felt that way about starwars in a while, im happy i can still find joy in the starwars world.
Theory’s comments about how he started his channel, when he was bored at home were so relatable! I wasn’t that big into Star Wars, but then I broke my leg and had all this downtime. I watched so many TH-cam videos on Star Wars. Including many from this channel and also that Mace Windu as Snoke theory. The nostalgia is crazy in this!
Why would thrawn let gideon jeep the darksaber? He’s known to be a collector, it makes more sense to me that thrawn is either still lost and they were just setting up ashoka’s series or on a different faction than gideon
Thaznks for tuning me into the total past history of what I Didn't know of the timeline ... it really helped me figure it out ...MORE .... !!! the force is with US !!!
The sequels just feel so rushed and disjointed. I agree with josh that it needs more fleshing out, why did Luke get to that point in TLJ, we need more reasons, we need to see why. Great podcast as always
9:49 "Starts off about a guy we know nothing about..." EXACTLY! And thats what makes it great bc it kinda works the same way as a new hope! Even has that og trilogy vibe at many times. It's like a new hope and it literally is us as star wars fans' new hope. It was a risk but so was "STAR WARS" when it was being filmed and when it came out. But it worked and so does this. The show is so fresh yet also reckons back to almost every aspect of star wars! Og trilogy, prequels, clone wars, rebels, and now the sequels in an evolving way that I think will add value to the sequels just as clone wars adds even more value to the prequels. Who are they using Grogu's blood on? Looked like snoke to me. That will make snoke a more intentional character than he ended up being originally. Bc I may be wrong but if they reveal that they are trying to create a sort of new sith emperor to lead them back into control of the galaxy...and that ends up being snoke it will add another layer that makes snoke's presence in star wars justified. Because yes, Palpatine is orchestrating it all... but if they are doing this on any sort of their own volition, that also shows the broken pieces of the empire fighting to put themselves together again and become what they once were. Love the show and no matter what ends up being revealed I'm sure its gonna be great and I'm sure it will add value to the sequels.
I was very stoked, then very panicked when they said the name "Thrawn" in the episode. Been a big fan for years, and we just got a new book this year. I really, really hope they get it right. I think they nailed Ahsoka Tahno, so it gives me hope.
When Ahsoka says his memory becomes dark. That may not necessarily be a Sith or dark side thing. It could have been because he was in hiding with someone so he couldnt use his force powers. Then we have to figure out how he ended up with those aliens on that planet and why did the Empire have a bounty out on him. Was he stolen from them or did they just find out where he was?
Hey hey! So I got a theory of my own! I don’t know if this’ll reach you but I hope it does!!! I’m currently at 1hr 15min into the podcast. Where u guys are talking about context for the prequels and for Luke it doesn’t make sense but for Anakin it makes sense because he has context. But for Luke, if we’re given context it can make things “better?” So I was thinking and paused right at 1:15:00 to type this down! NOW WHAT IF: The context for Luke being so hidden and scared or whatever is because......Anakin reaches out to him. And Anakin is SO traumatized by what he did. That he convinced an older Luke to do this because Ben would turn into Vader if he continues any further. What if...... Luke is so heavily influenced by Anakins ghost...? And he goes into hiding. Idk I was listening to u guys and this immediately popped into my head. 🤷🏽♂️ or something along those lines lol
Hey Theory! Big fan of your channel, just curious, have you ever revealed your first name ever? Not trying to be weird, just wondering if I have to call you Theory
New subscriber, really enjoyed the talk. Bit older than you guys, I actually saw the original trilogy in theaters though I was too young to remember the first two, I just got dragged along with my parents. I do remember seeing Return of the Jedi though. I was eight at the time. I still remember being totally enthralled waiting in line to get tickets and get in the theater to see how it all ended. Just thought I'd throw my two cents in on sequel Luke. I'm not the biggest fan of the sequels but after everything Luke had been thru to defeat the Empire, to see it being reborn...to see his nephew, who he trained going down the path of Vader. I can see where that would somewhat break him, make him totally conflicted internally, and make him want to step away. He already fought his war. The idea of seeing the galaxy fall into darkness again, because of another Skywalker...had to be really hard for him to handle. Lets not forget that Luke didn't exactly grow up in the Jedi temple as a youngling. He wasn't a long time Padawan to a Jedi. He got thrown into it all a bit cold and he wouldn't have the ability to deal with emotion as a fully trained Jedi like Obi-Wan would have.
I realize this is super old but I feel the need to chime in about the conversation around 23:30. Din felt a connection to Grogu because they’re both orphans. He came upon a child who was abandoned just like he was and he took him in as a foundling just like the Mandalorians who took him in. In my opinion, trying to explain it away with the ‘force’ cheapens their bond and diminishes Din’s backstory and trauma.
The fight scenes and Asoka design is better than anything Disney did in episodes 7, 8 and 9... nothing even comes close. This one episode of the Mandalorian made the entire Disney trilogy looks like a junior high project.
They have to figure out a way to retcon Luke's death with the World between Worlds. Instead of 'dying' write a reason to need Luke being pulled into it like the Yuuzhan Vong etc. His death and the final scene of Rise are just so bad that it needs retcons.
the issue of ahsoka not training grogu because of the age, what was luke? he was 19 when he started, i have two questions, has anakin visited ahsoka as she is a huge part of him , and then has she met luke
One of things that made me understand Luke’s Sequel story more was reading the book The Legends of Luke Skywalker. It’s a fun and short read that gives a look at how big the Legend of Luke had become and how a mere man couldn’t live up to all the Tall Tales. Anything he did would fall short of the Galaxy’s new expectations of the legend Luke Skywalker. I don’t imagine it would make you change your feelings but at the least it might give you a better understanding of what they were thinking. 🤷🏽♂️✌🏽
Din just doesn’t seem like the type, might be cool for a different show but not this one. Reminds me of the main character in Advent Rising by Orson Scott Card, so I can see the appeal in wanting a normal guy to become a biotic god.
Ok, If Luke shows up, the only reason to do it is to show Luke with his full Jedi Powers. And if they do that, it needs to be Mark Hamill. He deserves to have a final bad ASS scene in the Star Wars universe.
@@mcnizzzle3961 Mark as Luke in a show doesn't have to be young luke, it can be luke like right before he goes into hiding. That whole story of why luke disconnected himself from the force needs to be told properly. They can deage him if needed.
@@drawwing thought we were only talking about the mandalorian, which would make him too old for this time frame unless they gave him a ton of CGI. or as a force ghost but that excludes the bad ass scene

He was very kind and good man. Stood up during meeting him and he was huge even then, felt powerful. What a loss. 🖤
The thing I'm REALLY hoping for but know probably won't happen is that we get a flashback to order 66, we get to see Grogu overhear the conversation or interaction between Palatine and Anakin that takes Anakin from just officially admitting he's willing to be evil, to full on slaughtering children. I want more context for that moment told through Grogus perspective. I want to see the torture and remorse in Anakin's eyes as even HE can't believe what he's doing. I want to see him actively stomping out the last bits of humanity he has in that moment and the internal conflict that comes with that. End it with Grogu being the only jedi/padawan in the temple to show the potential to fight back against Anakin, prompting Palatine to spare him for testing to further his cloning ambitions he was using as a failsafe in case he couldn't figure out how to prolong his life with the force alone...which he couldn't.
great show fellas! its a great treat to start out the week! if we get the gift of Luke being in Mando, it only makes sence. if Grogu does indeed reach out with the force, it would be silly NOT to connect the Jedi (of the few of them still out there) that is currently collecting artifacts, and searching for Jedi. Building a school of them. That story is already out there for this time line. its only connecting dots. I actually do not consider it fixing Luke at all! Luke's endgame story is already out there. This is merely just giving us a picture of kick ass Luke after ROTJ before he was broken. Its just telling that story that is out there before then but he still ends up where he was in Last Jedi. i really like the idea of it. It would satisfy a lot of fans that didnt like where Luke ends up, but see that he still had that fire prior to old man Luke. :)
Regarding the Clone Wars: Maybe you know this already, but there still exist 40 unfinished Clone Wars episodes (,due to its cancellation through Disney in 2014), which would have played out before the final arc of season 7 (,I think). I would love to see these missing episodes on screen one day (,in some form). Also, I think Ahsoka's head-tails/Lekku and head-horns/Montrals (in this/"The Jedi" episode) are a bit short for her age, but they probably couldn't make them bigger because of practical reasons, I guess. Also, her white markings on her cheeks don't go all the way back to her head-tails/Lekku, unlike in Rebels and unlike in the concept art at the end of this episode. The rest of her looked pretty accurate, though (IMO).
I don’t think so tbh. They’re supposed to be longer to show her age, but they made them shorter so the actress could move around more and have her action scenes be easier
They probably should've been longer then when we last seen her in rebels even as its been like 5-10 years and she has gotta be around the same age as shaak ti now
@@fallout_boy__9437 this discussion is ridicilous at this point. They already said it was for the stunts, not just the actress even her stunt doubles couldn’t move in those long tails probably. All Shaak Ti did was sitting and no action. Of course they can’t give those heavy tails to an active character like Ahsoka. And CGI would look bad imo. They gone with the best solution for the live action. But some people are really dumb to see the difference between a live action and a cartoon. Makeup team also said they will try to make them look longer in the future just because of this unnecessary complaints, they probably will add some CGI next time. Wait for the same people to complain about “Don’t put the CGI in Star wars it’s too fake reeeee”. Stupidity at it’s best.
Thanks so much for joining the episode.

Possibly that Thrawn has slain a Jedi that has been keeping and training Grogu. Hence; he was hidden by a Jedi till he saw Thrawn kill him/her infront of him, Only for Thrawn to sense the fear in Grogu and found him.
Brilliant
amesw ael this is very specific but in Jedi fallen order, there’s a cutscene where that woman talks about her past, and her padawan goes with some younglings to save them from the purge.

“Sorry it’s a really bad line who is this?”
“G..org... Lu...s”
“Who?”
“G..r..g...u”.
“Grogu?”

It's great how we can dream of the possibilities again in Starwars

What if Bendu shows up? Live action Bendu would be crazy. And he could give us a canon backstory for Tython and mention the ships and Je'daii.
That would be cool, but I think it runs the risk of being too "out there" for mainstream appeal, I imagine they'll play it safe for live action an do stuff like the Bendu in animation, books and comics...hope I'm wrong though cos live action Bendu would be sick, especially if they get Tom Baker back to voice him
Isn’t bendu dead though? Thrawn kills them

Sebastian Stan is literally the age Luke would be after ROTJ in the Mando timeline. Holy shit balls. DEW IT!!

But if for some reason they do make him force sensitive, I wouldn’t complain
its gonna be a new force ability where Grogu can project his powers to Din.

no one wants to watch Ben Solo's story play out on Mandalorian. The story is mandalorian, not the skywalker saga
Yes ! I don't want to see young ben solo im over it
@Magic Cookies this isn't a bad idea! but the way the commentator was suggesting. Let's have a backstory of Ben Solo... why? lol to validate the sequel and to fix it's problems? Youre setting yourself up to fail, the sequels was highly unpopular, why are we trying to create a show to fix it? So silly... but I'd love to see an interaction with Luke!
I do, so your wrong

Is it official, from LucasFilms, that Ahsoka went to Lothal one year after the events of Episode 6?

There is something i have been thinking about:
Maul was the Ruler of Mandalore, Ahsoka didnt kill him and he didnt surrender, so he is still the ruler.
People have to complain. Even if 99.5% was spot on.
this channel/streams on monday really bring me back to my childhood and just loving star wars it’s a great time to be a fan of star wars and star wars theory!
I think Din is a force sensative on the level of han solo. It makes him a better pilot and sharpshooter, as well as improving his intuition.
That’s exactly what I would like to see. Even with the aspect of how Finn had the instincts of the force in the rise of skywalker
i wish episodes were in the average hour range like GoT

Coming back to these after Nerd Theory ended is just bittersweet and makes me miss the show even more. This was a great episode.
Why would thrawn let gideon jeep the darksaber? He’s known to be a collector, it makes more sense to me that thrawn is either still lost and they were just setting up ashoka’s series or on a different faction than gideon

I started my star wars channel and I have a lot of great theory and fan fiction but haven't made any videos yet kinda nervous I hate my voice.
@Kylo Ren thanks
9:49 "Starts off about a guy we know nothing about..."
EXACTLY!
@Imaginary Penguin no, I'm realistic.
U guyss different views makes this so good!
This collaboration keeps giving me life. Thanks guys.
I hop Cal, imagine the interactions between Grogu and BD-1
Hey hey!
So I got a theory of my own!
I don’t know if this’ll reach you but I hope it does!!!
I’m currently at 1hr 15min into the podcast. Where u guys are talking about context for the prequels and for Luke it doesn’t make sense but for Anakin it makes sense because he has context. But for Luke, if we’re given context it can make things “better?”
So I was thinking and paused right at 1:15:00 to type this down!
NOW WHAT IF:
The context for Luke being so hidden and scared or whatever is because......Anakin reaches out to him.
Everybody calls him theory. I saw in about two podcasts the name Jack Lucas on his screen, but that might very well not be it.
"May the Force be with you."
This podcast makes my day
for sure my favorite podcast! don’t stop
Its really nuts how close this was. Well fucking done boys.
RIGHT?!
This podcast is the highlight of the week together with the Mando episodes. An great achievement to be able to talk Star Wars for 3.5 hours imo
Din Djarin will be the one to defeat Gideon for the Dark Saber and become Mandal'or.
It seems like the most sensible arc for him for sure
Thinking about that gets me so hyped man I can’t wait till next year or two for all of that
Grogu the foundling will become a mandalorian jedi. More of a wise grey jedi
Din Djarin has no weapon that can combat the darksaber though
This is who I am yeah he does if you watched the last episode he just got the beskar spear that fought against Ashoka
The fight scenes and Asoka design is better than anything Disney did in episodes 7, 8 and 9... nothing even comes close. This one episode of the Mandalorian made the entire Disney trilogy looks like a junior high project.
My mind will definitely blow if the force user who responds to Grogu is Galen Marek (Starkiller)!
I always miss the live stream but wanna let you know I could listen to you guys chat for 5 hours! Hope you plan on keeping Nerd Theory going. 👍
They have to figure out a way to retcon Luke's death with the World between Worlds. Instead of 'dying' write a reason to need Luke being pulled into it like the Yuuzhan Vong etc. His death and the final scene of Rise are just so bad that it needs retcons.
I cannot agree MORE!
This was great.

STOP trying to make EVERYBODY heroic in Star Wars a “Force Wielder”. Just stop.
Din just doesn’t seem like the type, might be cool for a different show but not this one. Reminds me of the main character in Advent Rising by Orson Scott Card, so I can see the appeal in wanting a normal guy to become a biotic god.

I hope they just forget about the sequel trilogy. No one wants to see any of those characters ever again
Straight up
Regarding the Clone Wars: Maybe you know this already, but there still exist 40 unfinished Clone Wars episodes (,due to its cancellation through Disney in 2014), which would have played out before the final arc of season 7 (,I think).
If Din was force sensitive, Ahsoka would have known, and said something...
I love Josh’s points. You guys have a good dichotomy together.
Don’t know if anyone said this already but what if thrawn is also after the dark saber??? He has a knack for collecting
Den of Nerds: Look what Palpatine did to the absolute best of the Jedi, Anakin!
SWT: Anakin wasn't the best.
Den of Nerds: Yeah, you're right.
Do the lekku regenerate? She may have had to cut them to disguise herself or she was injured in combat?
I don’t think so tbh. They’re supposed to be longer to show her age, but they made them shorter so the actress could move around more and have her action scenes be easier
I agree. It even fits with the fact that they keep growing with time
They probably should've been longer then when we last seen her in rebels even as its been like 5-10 years and she has gotta be around the same age as shaak ti now
@@fallout_boy__9437 this discussion is ridicilous at this point.
Lol that is just impossible 🤣
Excellent episode! This series just keeps getting better and better!
