It will never cease to aggravate me why people with guns in movies always walk towards the person they are trying to shoot, only to look surprised when that person is able to easily grab them. The whole point of a gun is that your attack has range. Yet in most movies, I always see at least one person walking towards their target, why are you doing that!?
So that the writers write in a way for the person with no guns to both take out a guy/gal with a gun and also then acquire said gun they can then use to beat all the people with guns It is not good writing, but it is their writing.
Maybe they are all really bad shots. So they know if they shoot from more than 5 feet away they will probably miss, maybe even hit a bystander. Gotta be responsible when you are doing murders.
