I honestly wished that we would get more shows of simply Clone Troopers, ARC Troopers, Commandos, and other special units. It would be phenomenal to see an adult version of the Clone Wars. I don’t need blood and guts, but the legendary stories behind their sacrifices and victories. The Jedi are one small aspect of the war that is overwhelmingly told. In actuality, it is soldiers who win wars, not generals.

With the Battle of Drongar, one thing you missed was that neither side wanted the Bota for their troops. The plant had medicinal properties for most species, and so was valuable and scarce enough that rich people would pay through the nose for it. As one of the medics said in the surgical base, 'it's too valuable to waste on the troops dying for it.'

Tukk (Tuuk) and the Tooka were all named for Dave Filoni's cat, who has passed on. Bo-Katan was name for combining his wife's name with HER cat's name. Thus we now have Tookas and Loth-Cats and a Clone Trooper because Dave really loved Tuuk, who was a handsome guy. He happily "put a Loth-Cat on it" as often as he could during "Rebels:. He loves cats and wolves.

Clone Wars 2008 is the worst thing to happen to Star Wars and turned the Clone Wars into a joke. The OG Clone Wars Multimedia Project was much darker and felt like an actual war. Dave Filoni is a hack.

The original clone wars was just them running straight into the fire the whole time and had them use speed bikes as lances. I thought it was dumb when it came out and still do. 2008 series isn't perfect but it is a lot better we saw in ROTS that the clones got personality so it makes sense they developed their own personalities rather than just being druids made out of flesh. 2008 also is really dark at times too. Also being "closer to real war" 2008 series is still closer. They actually use combined armor tactics and take cover as well as using cover and move tactics
It made grevious into a saturday morning villain thats incompinent as hell and makes you wonder how the droid army hasnt colapsed with someone so incompitent in charge.

Absolutely loved this entire video, love the lore, commentary and style. I'd watch another 3 hour video of clone wars battles if you posted one. Clone wars timelines are sorely needed especially at a quality such as this video.

Been watching you for as long as i could remember, I always love seeing more clone wars content and seeing more clone units. 212th and 91st are my favorite known, unkown might be 13th iron. Legends is 187th, that purple is wack. Wish we see them in battles.
I’ve always thought that the Clone Wars should have lasted for 10 years rather than just 3. In 10 years it would make much more sense in a galaxy spanning wars. It could’ve also spoken to the amount of human, alien, droid suffering that took place. The amounts of battles would’ve been endless as the wars would’ve spanned across the galaxy. It would better explain a lot of people’s mental exhaustion when it comes to the war and wanting it to finally end with Grievous being killed on Utapau.

for the record, that's not how jocasta nu died in canon. she escaped the temple, and made a hidden library of all her jedi knowledge for future generations to find. she later returned, only to be killed by vader. it's all detailed in the canon vader comics

The bugs designed the blueprints for the Death Star, and the Empire began it's construction.

Kkrukh actually survived order 66 and not only did he survive order 66 but he was among the very few Jedi to survive the purge and among the very few Jedi who lived too see the fall of the empire and the rebuilding of the Jedi Order. He later joined Luke Skywalkers new Jedi order and was even still alive during the era of Darth Krayt and also knew Luke Skywalkers descendant Cade Skywalker and even outlived Darth Krayts rule. He wasn’t the only one however. Tri Sha who was like Kkrukh a Jedi also survived order 66 and even the Jedi purge and later joined Luke Skywalkers new Jedi Order and like Kkrukh was also still alive during the time of Cade Skywalker. She then died in 138 aby. Darth Krayt whose real name was Ashyrad Hett also survived order 66 and even the Jedi purge and even encountered Obi Wan Kenobi on tantoinne. However he later turned to the dark side and was still alive around the same time as Cade Skywalker was. He was then later killed by Cade Skywalker thus leaving Krukh as the only order 66 and Jedi purge survivor left alive as all of the other survivors had either died from numerous causes or died of old age.

I mean, VSDs were deployed within the same year as the Battle of Duro (20BBY), so it's not a huge stretch. The lack of venators in the fleet is also due to the multi media project not including venators until late 20 BBY.

Its crazy how much different the war woulda went if Palpatine hadn't been pulling the strings. Cuz the whole 1st half of this video is just the Republic either getting its ass kicked battle after battle or barely managing to pull off a stalemate. Let's just say if it weren't for Palpy we'd all be speaking Geonosion, or Neimoidian maybe lol
