    For some reason I have a hard time seeing the level of coolant since it’s tucked way down there 😂

      @MostafaMansoori ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes I agree, it's very hard to see the amount of coolant level in the reservoir tank, so what I did is I just added enough Honda coolant and made a best estimated fill.

      I guess we are supposed to remove the battery to see better.

      thanks, i just removed my battery, and it is easier to see the MAX line, and also to add coolant. but it is still difficult to see the fluid level because the reserve tank is barely translucent.

      @@oandkchangI find holding a decent powered flashlight on my coolant reservoir and any like it illuminates it perfectly. Especially when it’s darker out.

    The coolant level is hard to see !

    What magic non included stick is used to check the coolant level. Because you really can’t see it in the reservoir. My 2012 civic is the only car i’ve seen designed this was. Coolant is a basic function of an engine and should be able to visibly see easily.

      How do I check ut 😭 it's not visible, What was honda thinking to hide it if it was a top secret

      Eu folosesc un cablu pentru nivel: prin exterior măsor din buza rezervorului până la maxim, apoi mai adaug 2 cm. Introduc cablul prin interior ( fiind îndoit pe buză) și ar trebui să fie umed în capăt.

    Why hide the Antifreeze reservoir in such a hidden place? I don't get why they did this. Most vehicles it's right there on top where it can be easily seen. Honda's are great, but seriously....why?

    Why not just fill the transmission fluid from the fill plug??

      This model of the car has an electrical power steering system, so no need to worry about that.

    • @rhgoodlett

      Yes, it is electronic power steering. No power steering fluid on these 9th generation civics.

    What happens when you put too much coolant? I managed to get most of it out so it’s not at the top. But it still feels like a lot is in there
