What an awesome build. Just finished up the last few things I need and put it together. Took maybe six or seven tries to get the strategy down, but I beat Gna in under a minute once I got it.

But if you don't follow the initial steps exactly, just restart and try again.

For anyone still struggling on this, even with story mode like I did: go to accessibility settings, there’s an option to turn on checkpoints for mini-bosses. It saved me SOOOO much headache once I learned that was even a thing.

Thanks for this. Done and dusted in 57 seconds thanks to this build on GMB and platinum trophy unlocked! Took about 45 mins overall to get the timing of everything at the start and then finish off the last few health bars.
This build set is just straight up game breaking, I was almost about to rip my console in half when I found this guide. Once I was able to bring her down to 2-3 bars and I failed a couple of times on the very slightest of health remaining. But It was much much better progress than when I couldn’t even get her past half health using a ressurection stone. God send guide.

Thanks for the build and step by step guide. Beat GNA in gmgow with this build but with a few modifications to enchantment slots. Still took me many tries and of course a lot more than 30secs but the build definitely helped a lot. I was doing almost no damage to GNA with other builds. GNA was the toughest boss in the game for me. The berserker king was so much easier. This build also deletes everything else in this game within seconds. I had a few of the dragons left to kill and they went down like nothing. cheers!

Ok so ive been at this for days now, and I have gotten her within a few hits of winning without all these status effects, but seeing all this and the fact that my build doesnt look like this makes me feel so much better about not getting it done. Beat her with this tactic. I kept fumbling and having to restart (the combos leading up to the buff stack and the follow up rage stuns are the hard part). A berserker stone with fury rage and a couple lucky dodges and hits when she was down to 10% was what eventually lead me to a nice R3. Thanks for the tutorial.

Easily the best build for melting boss health/armor. I tried a few diff builds and this one worked for me. I didn’t follow it to a T and I still got her down to 1/4 health and managed to finish her off.

@@akhafasu I just watched your vid and man it's interesting how much damage it does even on GMGOW. I rocked a Lunda Chest with Dragon scale for both arms and waist the whole game on GMGOW barefist. I didn't have any problem with any boss even the berserkers but not working that well on Gna since there's less Parrying. Imma try your build tomorrow. Thanks a bunch.
@@BanteChyne you’re welcome. I did experiment with other builds, Lunda’s and another with 700 strength but I found mine to be the most suitable for dps and defeating bosses in a timely manner. Let me know how it goes for you :)
@@BanteChyne This strategy definitely helped. Gna is no joke on GMGOW. So, I opened with frozen breach, hit her thrice, then stunned her incoming attack with hel's touch followed up with mists of helheim (while spamming sigil arrows to amplify my elemental). As soon as she was frozen, I activated realm shift and went to town holding R1 with my blades. When she tried running away, I used L1+ Triangle to stun her and then poisoned her. Whenever she tried running away, I stunned her with rage valor. This strat will take at least 30% of her health on GMGOW, but there is still RNG involved so you have to learn to fight her and master her attacks. This is easily the hardest fight in the entire game, especially on GMGOW. To make things worse, she kills Kratos in just two hits on GMGOW. In my experience, her three most annoying attacks are: a. valkyrie bifrost; basically she throws bifrost at you. if it is red ringed, dodge. if it is not red ringed, DO NOT DODGE. This is the most annoying trick in Ragnarok. b. for asgard stomp; the first, early phase version comes fast so dodge immediately. she does this thrice and it comes out very fast. c. for asgard stomp bifrost delay: this is about rhythm. basically walk, not run, back and dodge at the final moment. She does this thrice in a row. All her other attacks come down to experience. I would go so far as to say just spend 1 hour not even trying to hit her and just familiarizing yourself with all her shenanigans. Hope this helps.

I'm working on beating her now, but one thing I noticed that in the beginning instead of using FA then hitting SR before the circle, you can just sprint towards her then hit FA instantly then when you get near her hit SR to stun and begin your combo!!! I'll let you know when I beat her thanks!!!

Alright ive finished her. The beginning was all you and your build, second half was my old school classic play style of chasing down the enemy with attacks and agressive dodge assault combinations. This Valkyrie stood no chance. Thank you for your help

Gg, I did it in my fourth try, it's really not as hard as it seem, once you learn the pattern its just timing it right Thank you very much, also if anyone else's seeing this, it took me roughly 8 to 10 hours in order to get the items plus killing her
Well it worked in my battle with gna got her to the last two or one health bar. Then lowered the difficulty from give me balance to give me story. Saved me repeating 20 plus times.

Took like 25 tries on easiest difficulty (I didn't have all the mods in the skills like you did and I didn't do the exact thing you did but a good bit of it to have at least 3 of the icons on her showing) and I eventually beat her though luckily I still had my superior resurrection stone and some power in my chaos blades. Also got lucky with her doing the blue circle twice in a row and the game actually not cheating for once and letting me break her guard. Feels so good. Now I just need to beat king of berserkers and get the last hilt/relic I need to get my platinum on ps4 and then open save on ps5 for another platinum.
I can verify that on "give me god of war" the opening runic storm series will only get 4~ life bars off. If you go directly into 2nd one like your last vid you will die or be stuck around half health waiting for cooldowns trying to survive. That said it's a good build but you need to modify how you go at her.

I'm working on beating her now, but one thing I noticed that in the beginning instead of using FA then hitting SR before the circle, you can just sprint towards her then hit FA instantly then when you get near her hit SR to stun and begin your combo!!! I'll let you know when I beat her thanks!!!

Alright ive finished her. The beginning was all you and your build, second half was my old school classic play style of chasing down the enemy with attacks and agressive dodge assault combinations. This Valkyrie stood no chance. Thank you for your help

Gna doesn't stagger for me after the first 4 axe swings and she just unloads her attacks on me. Pain

Took me about 50 seconds to beat her after using this built. Freya was never in position where she is supposed to be but I managed.

Don't bother with this if your playing in Give Me God of War mode it does less than a third of her health and she never stops moving.
Gg, I did it in my fourth try, it's really not as hard as it seem, once you learn the pattern its just timing it right

Well it worked in my battle with gna got her to the last two or one health bar. Then lowered the difficulty from give me balance to give me story. Saved me repeating 20 plus times.

Took like 25 tries on easiest difficulty (I didn't have all the mods in the skills like you did and I didn't do the exact thing you did but a good bit of it to have at least 3 of the icons on her showing) and I eventually beat her though luckily I still had my superior resurrection stone and some power in my chaos blades. Also got lucky with her doing the blue circle twice in a row and the game actually not cheating for once and letting me break her guard. Feels so good. Now I just need to beat king of berserkers and get the last hilt/relic I need to get my platinum on ps4 and then open save on ps5 for another platinum.

I can verify that on "give me god of war" the opening runic storm series will only get 4~ life bars off. If you go directly into 2nd one like your last vid you will die or be stuck around half health waiting for cooldowns trying to survive. That said it's a good build but you need to modify how you go at her.

Yes, the last two bars give her a shield which makes it tough to get her HP down
