@@GarrysFactor just to clarify i did go the entire game without upgrading anything, for GOW 2018’s GMGOW+ mode i did use the strategy he’s suggesting for the boss fights, it’s impossible to get through the non boss encounters without some upgrades on GOW 2018. I'm stuck at the part where you go with Freya, and Brok to Svartalfheim to create the Draupnir Spear, in the alcohol place with the barrels. Those lizards dudes are insane when their health is red. I despise their move set lol. I'm also going to try to 100% the game at lvl 1. It may not be possible though.

Hi everyone. This fight was pretty tough, in my opinion Gna is a harder fight than Sigrun. Me personally, I think GMGOW Gna with no upgrades at level 1 is more difficult than GMGOW+ Sigrun with no upgrades at level 1, i have done both recently and Gna was much more difficult for me. Still not even close to Magni/Modi GMGOW+ level 1 no upgrades no checkpoints in terms of difficulty but still challenging nonetheless. Despite that, i still managed to make this fight very stylish, no damage, no guard breaks, no unnecessary blocking, no rolling, slowly walking instead of just standing still during downtime. Using all 3 weapons including some barehanded combat. I really put in a lot of effort to make everything as flashy as possible which meant taking a lot of risks. I even managed to include weapon switches in between the wing slashes which is a throwback technique to the OG GOW 2018 legend AlexXz’s level 1 no upgrade sigrun GMGOW+ Sigrun fights. One of my subs in particular always loves seeing weapon switches between the wing slashes (Sultan) so those are also partially for his viewing pleasure lol I had lots of fun fighting Gna and learning her new moves. @@RAGE-OF-SPARTA-X Well he’s a combination of every Beserker, has all they’re attacks, can power up with weapon shields, activates bifrost when close to dying. He’s basically Sigrun, he’s tougher than Gna (in my opinion), bit more of a tank but if manageable with Level 1. All the Beserkers are really easy to do Stun damage on, i fought some of them with a low level armor build (close to a true level 1, also fought them on GMGOW), they seemed pretty easy to deal stun damage on. If that helps you but maybe not

@@strikerboss2812 yes, I’m planning on doing all of the main story bosses and beserkers like this, I’m already done with many of them. Heimdall, Hirst/mist, Thor, Odin and all of the beserkers except one are all that’s left for me.
Just to clarify, Draupnir is an unavoidable upgrade, there’s no point in not using it because it’s base form does the same DPS as the other stock weapons and it would still give the same slight stat boost even if I didn’t use it. Besides, the stats it boosts are meaningless in this fight, 15 luck is useless since I don’t have any luck based perks and 15 defence are useless since I didn’t get hit either. This is the closest to true level 1 as anyone could possibly get. Also for those unaware, the wing slash at 0:29 does no damage in GOWR or in GOW 2018 all it does is disrupt your current combo.
To be honest, this is one of the most insane gaming challenges I've ever seen in the modern gaming era. No runic, no upgrades, no armor improvements, Holy hell. Hats off to the gow goat.

Thanks m8, I really enjoy how wild/unpredictable she gets because it really forced me to hone my reflexes and focus on having quick reaction times, most fights don’t do that and give the player obvious tells/telegraphs at to what the enemy will do.

@@odious5317 no apologies necessary, I appreciate where you were coming from! It all takes practice. My biggest struggle is blocking after a block. Like if you block but then get thrown back, I can't recover after that. But in videos like this they chain block perfectly. Maybe it's a timing thing.

True level 1 isn’t what make this impressive, it’s the fact that you do what I be preaching. Which is freestyling and being creative as a lvl 1! This is what I have wanted to see!! Just like old gows. Very hard modes we didn't even get a chance to use specials. And now the games are a little too combo friendly. All I have been seeing is boss battles with fast kills. But real challenge is who has patience to stand agaisnt these bosses without any upgrades. Hats off 👏

This is insane One of two things just happened here: 1. You somehow read the games code and reverse engineered a perfect controls counter AI to flawless victory this fight in the best way possible Or 2. This is one of the coolest displays of skill in gaming history. I lean the ladder. Amazing.
Man this is so satisfying to watch as someone who plays most if not all games on the easiest difficulty cause I don't like super hard games I just want to appreciate this person for doing a true level 1 fight with no damage and with perfect parrys, blocks, and dodges with no unnecessary dodging really shows how much better most people are then me at games you're really good at this games and I might even start playing games on harder difficulties because of people like you.

after the bifrost strike if she goes to your right she will do wing stab 100% so just dodge right if u dodge left she catches u for some reason , if she goes to your left she will either wing spin or throw the shit at you ;)

Damn dude this was amazing. Makes my Level 1 Gna look like child's play. I have one question for you if you can answer. When I tried Gna level 1 with Dauntless Shield, her wing projectile attacks (the ones where one is unblockable and one you can block) put me in a knock back state. Which, for a brief time, would render me unable to use Kratos. If she followed that up with the spinning attack with the yellow rings and I was not far enough, I would not be able to regain control of Kratos in time and therefore die. As far as I know, there was nothing I could do about it. From what I saw, you didn't have any problems with blocking attacks. How did you get past that?
Hello AJDC, firstly lemme just say i am a big fan, I’ve been watching your Ragnarok vids for a while as you’re one of the only other players to specialize in low stat/level gameplay. Secondly, as for the unblockable sigle/staff spiral attack combo you’re referring to, this is how you deal with it. One little secret most people don’t know about, most animations in this game can be very slightly sped up if you hold L3, forwards/backwards as the game will look to cancel whatever animation is playing in order to fulfill the movement input. That includes the blocking animation. Take care.

True level 1 isn’t what make this impressive, it’s the fact that you do what I be preaching. Which is freestyling and being creative as a lvl 1! Using your full arsenal while pushing the limits of your reflexes. Literally flowing like water. Not banking on muscle memory of repetitive patterns. That’s what make the fights difficult! Good shit man
I couldn’t even imagine fighting Gna again with my current stats let alone lvl 1 everything. You are amazing. A true God of War. I wonder what the other Gods of War have for us.
This is what I have wanted to see!! Just like old gows. Very hard modes we didn't even get a chance to use specials. And now the games are a little too combo friendly. All I have been seeing is boss battles with fast kills. But real challenge is who has patience to stand agaisnt these bosses without any upgrades. Hats off 👏

1. You somehow read the games code and reverse engineered a perfect controls counter AI to flawless victory this fight in the best way possible
Or 2. This is one of the coolest displays of skill in gaming history.

Man this is so satisfying to watch as someone who plays most if not all games on the easiest difficulty cause I don't like super hard games I just want to appreciate this person for doing a true level 1 fight with no damage and with perfect parrys, blocks, and dodges with no unnecessary dodging really shows how much better most people are then me at games you're really good at this games and I might even start playing games on harder difficulties because of people like you.

Respect for this man he had to go through the entire game with lvl1 loot which is like 40 hr which is hell and he defeats the 2nd hardest boss in the game and also crappy rage and hp and also no damage also hardest difficulty and crappy shield in my opinion and he is pretty aggressive on her you have my respect

after the bifrost strike if she goes to your right she will do wing stab 100% so just dodge right if u dodge left she catches u for some reason , if she goes to your left she will either wing spin or throw the shit at you ;)

I have one question for you if you can answer.
When I tried Gna level 1 with Dauntless Shield, her wing projectile attacks (the ones where one is unblockable and one you can block) put me in a knock back state. Which, for a brief time, would render me unable to use Kratos. If she followed that up with the spinning attack with the yellow rings and I was not far enough, I would not be able to regain control of Kratos in time and therefore die.
As far as I know, there was nothing I could do about it.
From what I saw, you didn't have any problems with blocking attacks.
How did you get past that?
Hello AJDC, firstly lemme just say i am a big fan, I’ve been watching your Ragnarok vids for a while as you’re one of the only other players to specialize in low stat/level gameplay.
Secondly, as for the unblockable sigle/staff spiral attack combo you’re referring to, this is how you deal with it.
One little secret most people don’t know about, most animations in this game can be very slightly sped up if you hold L3, forwards/backwards as the game will look to cancel whatever animation is playing in order to fulfill the movement input. That includes the blocking animation.
