Losing or drawing isn’t an option, the only option is to win. I’m a fairly new nurse and you’ve motivated me throughout my nursing school and nursing career journey, so I’m more than happy to share some uplifting words with you. I lost a very close friend of mine in my third semester of nursing school. My father suddenly and unexpectedly passed 5 months later. Both of them were my main supporters of my successes, my biggest cheerleaders in life. I was broken and devastated. I went through severe depression and decided to take a semester off. I returned and completed nursing school only because I had one semester left and if I didn’t complete in that year, per the school’s policy, I would lose ALL of my credits and have to start from the beginning if I ever did decide to return. I did it!! And along the way both of them showed me signs of being there with me the entire way, providing the support they always have though in a different way. A certain song would come on the radio on my way to school, something that just reminded me of them, and I found comfort in those moments. My father’s birthday was my graduation date and I didn’t know it would be at all until the end, if that isn’t a sign I don’t know what is. Your brother will show you he’s still there cheering you on. Find comfort in those moments and KNOW that your brother is still with you. Although not physically, he is still there, we are all just a shell of a human and our souls live on. The ones we love and who love us never really leave us. Grieving during nursing school hurts, grieving while not in nursing school also hurts. Failure also hurts. Find healthy coping skills and go for the gold. Stay focused, your brother is with you and watching you every step of the way, cheering you on. You got this big man, don’t lose sight of the goal. You are in my thoughts and prayers and I am rooting for you!!! ❤

    Hello Brother.
This is your fellow TH-camr, and nurse. I lost two family members within the last year. You are strong, they are with you more spiritually than ever. The mind tells you things that aren't true. Your brother is with you every step of the way. You got this. I believe in you!

I lost my brother in my last year of nursing school. It was difficult, but I knew he would want me to carry on. Like you said, the devil will try to discourage you, especially when you're doing God's work.

Grief loves to creep up in life during big moments. I think it's because the loss is more prevalent. We want to be able to share it with them, and they are gone.

I lost my husband who was 38 and my mom during nursing school 1 year ago. School definitely helped me to not be consumed with thinking them passing. Had to pray for strength to get through that but I got through it

I cannot relate to your situation of losing a loved one CJ, however you’re not alone and your listeners are here for you. You’re absolutely right, being in nursing school we all have a hurdle to overcome. I am a single mother of a child with medical needs and I also have MS. The school is correct, make sure all your skills are done EXACTLY as they say. I am in an accelerated nursing program now and that was what advice we were given. I enjoy listening to you and feel very inspired. My cohort doesn’t have any guys and it’s exhausting because women like so much attention trying to compete and with guys there’s a different perspective and energy to the game. Stay strong and I will keep you in thought and prayer. ❤

Sorry for your loss bro 💯 a good workout you can do is jump rope it’s simple and you can do it right outside your house in the morning before you get you day started, a lot of people say jumping rope is better than running
