    I am not a bow guru by any means but I bought this bow last year and couldnt be happier. I do have a stinger bee stabilizer and qad dropaway on it and I dont notice the vibration and while shooting it my brother comments on how quiet it is but we were shooting outside instead of the close quarters this fella was shooting in. I am also shooting a 525 grain arrow out of the bow at 56 pound draw weight. I did shoot a buck last year and it blew through him like a bullet.

    Thank you for doing this review as well as the plan to do other mid range priced bows. Many of us can’t spend the $1,100-$1,800 on a bare bow 🏹 plus additional cost for the accessories for that bow.
    I have thought about this bow, but I’m not sure where the closest Hoyt dealer/archery pro shop is to me in northern West Virginia.
    I plan on running with my old 2006 PSE for at least one more season and hopefully I can go bow shopping and keep my current bow as a backup

    I have the Torrex. It’s an absolute tack driver and is completely dead in the hand and very quiet. Even with a stubby cheap stabilizer there is zero vibration. The XT might be a little worse with those different cams, but I can’t imagine it being bad at all with any sort of stabilizer on it. I put a 10” Hunter Maxx BeeStinger on mine and it’s so good it’s scary. I shot the Ventum 33 next to it and they felt the same with stabilizers. Also, my limb shox were mounted a little closer to the cams from factory then yours in the video. I’d say about a 3/8 of the way from the riser. Idk how much that would affect it, just saying.

    I talked to the guys at Hoyt today and was told the Torrex XT has the same limbs as the Ventum 30. Definitely gonna try it out

    I wish they would put a carry handle on the outside offset the grip like APA archery does for hikes.
    This bow looks nice.

    Looking at buying this as it’s the only Hoyt I’ve found that goes down to my draw length of 25.5. I shot it today and did notice the buzz after but all in all it was fun to shoot and the price point is awesome!

    Add a stabilizer and tune it, the hand shock will be extremely minimal. I noticed the same thing, threw on a stab, virtually gone.

    • @mustang268
      @mustang268 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I rather see how good the bow is without those because adding stabs will do that to all bows but not all are the same feeling without them I don't even use stabs on my traverse it's that dead in the hand to begin with so anything extra is a bonus
