Remember Morgana needs Kayle in her team for the quest (there is no Morgana vs Aatrox quest).
Originally when I was recording the vid there was a lot of confusion, there was supposedly going to be Morgana vs Kayle quest and then Kayle vs Aatrox.
Turned out it's Kayle vs Aatrox, but Morgana can assist it.
Kayle vs Aatrox is already gonna be a rare quest, but to even get that Morgana reward (-2.5s E cd) is almost impossible. Definitely rarest challenge so far. (Morgana part)
why not Q root time 1s last longer

I read that Kayle's ult cooldown was reduced TO 10 seconds instead of reduced BY 10 seconds and had a mini-heart attack.
it's ok Kayle's 10s CD ult can save you from your mini-heart attack

@@GrindedMindbro what? 10 seconds is barely anything, a 3 second buff on duration for a skill that resets is MASSIVE. plus he can get it on a single tf I'd they are both on the enemy team. Plus Morg gets nothing but becomes a walking buff for him
@@GrindedMind In most teamfights, Kayle's buff doesn't matter but Aatrox's does. That balances it out
Feel as if Aatrox gets more value out of this compared to Kayle. Morgana gets nothing but she’s just glad to be there.
Morgana is the sister that Kayle leaned on and then doesn't get to share in any of the success.

Well the bonus 3 seconds dont seem like much but they are actually very influencial for resets/prolonged fights
the amount of time it ran out right before i got a kill 😂
well the getting bigger part fcks you up hard. your hitbox increases on a champ that simply isnt supposed to tank skillshots. imagine morg q hits you 50% easier now which is 100% deasth for aatrox.

kayle is a ranged character so its very likely aatrox dies before her in team fight especially if he is the only champion that holds the front line.
Sure he has sustain but kayle ult prevents her to die too so in a fair team fight even if team of kayle lose he dies before her most of the time
@@popcornbutter6820 The reset is only for the decaying movespeed, not the total duration. Takedowns just add 5 seconds as always.

No rival quests should stay out of the game, they make balancing more complex and I’m not sure if riot can handle that.

He'll become the world ender yet again if that happens, I played aatrox on new patch and with a good build he just wins.
No kills resets but while ulting you can fill a bar that can last until death, if the bar it's full, Aatrox revives

Another sad day for Morgana mains. They get nothing from the quest and are only treated like disposable sidecharacters.
Ironically Morgana could actually be a liability since Aatrox can just kill them both in the same fight to win while Aatrox has to die 2 seperate times for Kayle to win

Kind of seems unfair that Aatrox can kill a support morgana twice and get the buff while kayle needs to scale to and not die in order to be able to kill aatrox.
It never says something about solo killing, assists should count to like with any other quest, and she doesnt even need to scale hard, with help from the team she can get the quest done easily.

the quest only activates at lvl 11 so she can die as many times as she wants before
Hope they do the same to Pantheon and A Sol. I love Panth so much that I play his theme whenever I play against A Sol :')
They nerfed asol into the ground I haven't seen that guy in literal ages

This is so cool. Riot has really made a comeback since the beginning of 2023. I hope they do more of this! League lore deserves more callbacks in-game!
honestly i love this quest they add more to the gameplay.
you have to play with ur team to complete or prevent these kinds of buffs to certain champs
don't care how broken it is. this is what league was when it was first released, it was the goofy interactions and such that made it much fun
hearing the dominion music in the background while showcasing new quests just brings back memories of "capture the windmill" type of quests.
Wow, these are big buffs. I wonder if Aatrox can keep his ult at 8 seconds with takedowns, because that would make a huge difference

Doesnt bring any value to team fights, compared to aatrox, and 10 seconds isnt gonna do the difference between one fight and another, either solo or team fight, since by the point a fight breaksout again, she should have the ult again whether have the buff or not. Even more since every good kayle wouldnt ever take a fight without her ulti, which is her strongest card so... Virtually useless.

Honestly i feel like it should be quest between Pantheon And Aatrox rather than Aatrox and Kayle with Morgana.

@@JacobNaxAtreus (new Pantheon) managed to stop him when he became the new aspect of war after Pantheon was killed. Kayle and Morgana are not the only ones who can stop him. But Aatrox can’t be killed by anyone permanently it seems since his weapon itself is immortal
Aatrox could honestly have quests with Zoe and Tryndamere too. Also not sure if any of the in game Darkin are on Xolaani's side but they could also get one.
Rito probably saves Pantheon for vs Asol quest.

I believe they're doing it with the Sisters because In LoR Aatrox fights Kayle in a variety of "what ifs" scenarios including Mihira, their mother.
Along with what another commenter said, he already has lines against Kayle and Morg (BEFORE their VGU too!), so it's not out of the blue and just from the cinematic
Nope, the real hype would be Panth and asol, which sooner or later seems like its going to happen
I like that we get more secondary quests, and this one actually affects the game a little bit. Aatrox seems to reap more benefits but overall I think it’s a fun little addition to the game. It’s especially important that it only starts at level 11 so aatrox can’t just fist an early game Kayle to complete the quest
3 seconds is huge considering at a good ability haste that is basically an extra 2 q's which can then reset it
Aurelion Sol should have a quest against targonians that gives his ult a lower threshold for the skies descend, an even larger visual as he stacks and a shatter visual fx on his crown
"visually larger" is a terminology that Riot has never used. I wonder if it's the same as size?
I think "visually larger" means it doesnt affect hitboxes and melee range.
i mean a 10sec cd reduction is fine i guess, but it could be more, like, her ult last a second longer, or the area of the ult be bigger

Now we hope to get Trynda and Kindred quests: "Kill Kindred during your R" for Trynd and just "kill Tryndamere" for Kindred. Also "Get 10/0 instead of 0/10" for Yasuo, the impossible one.

There should just be a game mode where every champ gets a quest with a significant buff. Like this one but instead of size(as a comment already suggested) aatrox gets his revive back. Or other quests like, pantheon vs aatrox, the same benefit for aatrox but if pantheon wins he gets one of his abilities permanently enhanced with his passive, and a shit ton of other interactions
the aatrox winning reward is actually huge , that 3 second extra can easily extend the duration long enough till gets a kill and gets a reset

As if Kayle could ever get a 2 kill lead on aatrox... His R having 3 more seconds against an already behind Kayle is going to be a F-ing nightmare.
Kayle is basically a range champion she doesn't have to engage Aatrox also she can ult herself under tower so tower diving a low hp Kayle is basically useless. Aatrox doesn't have much options to deal with her except the player isn't skilled enough.
Buff stacking World Ender is going to take the entire screen

sooooo, if you pick kayle into aatrox you are just trolling. 3 sec duration on aatrox ult is FAR better than 10 sec cd for kayle ult
People in the comments are forgetting that they need to be level 11 to activate the quest. For those saying this is insanely aatrox favoured are just wrong, lvl 11 kayle is stronger than lvl 11 aatrox which is why kayles ‘buff’ is ‘weaker’ (it isnt)

3 seconds on ult is so good , if you're in a teamfight and kill 2-3 people its 12 seconds plus duration its crazy i think

Are the 10 seconds applied after or before cdr? That's important. Cause after CDR means she could have like ~30 sec cd at max lvl which is huge.
i guess it's same as ap/mp flat number counts before percentage.

I like they add some challenges and quests to the solo experience.
There should be more of it.
Btw the solo experience could be a real thing, better than just soloq in ranked mode.
And they could also try to teach some macro concepts that would improve the player base level.
Why aren't there more of these kind of side quests in the game?Like in Garen vs Darius,Renekton vs Nasus,Garen vs Sylas,Jarvan vs Sylas etc.
They started adding them recently. Nasus and Renekton is already done, I'm not sure if they're out yet

I was kinda hoping Aatrox would have a quest with Zoe, since he has a massive grudge against the aspect of twilight. Or better yet, a quest with Pantheon.
