1:30 At 2000 stacks, the Q execute threshold already seems to be at 50% health, looking at the target dummy.
3900-4000 is the treshhold for 100%
I think realistically you should never get above 500 stacks with him, so seems reasonable
@@LliterallyTheMoon forgetting about those once in a blue moon games where you reach the 2 hour mark, youd probarly be sitting on over 1k stacks then unless youre the one keeping your team back

gameplan, get 25 stacks, aggro smol void boiis to get them to spawn an army of 1hko guys, q the minilings and wait for next wave, easy stacks

@@michaeltrout9731 1:49, clearly states +13. Q only gives 1 pr champ hit, and the fragments that split of can also only give +1 pr champ hit(these dont stack) making it only capable of giving +2 from hitting the dummy.

I like this theme of dragon champs scaling over time. Hopefully something similar gets added to Shyvana’s kit when her rework is released.

Like how all ninjas have energy, and also the game plan is to rework all void champs so they have some kind of evolution or morphing in their kits (like kha'zix, kaisa and belveth), they should add more traits like that to darkins, acendeds, etc

Pretty balanced, I would say. 5000 stacks seems like a really big number and it stills doesnt one shot drake

@@Kuptain ...It's 5,495 stacks, gained through 621 kills, and using practice tools in order to farm every single lanes every wave at 38 minutes, with a full build. It better fucking oneshot a champion with less then 4k hp, let alone a level 4 mundo and renekton that don't even have a full item built and over 100 deaths a piece. You would have to be literally cheating in order to achieve these results in a normal game to do this.
@@GameManCZ2000 It already reaches 50% max health execute at 2000 stacks when you look at 1:30 (training dummy). I guess 1000 is pretty doable, and even then it already has a pretty high execute threshold.
@@Kuptain a nasus or veigar or senna or any other infinite scaler is going to oneshot with 600 kills and perfectly farming every lane as optimally as possible. This is just infinite scaling when ur in practice tool

I think it's cute how the Elder Dragon's buff is damage over time with an execute, and Smolder's Q gains a damage over time with an execute

what setting do you have enabled to make it so that the amount of stacks wen you last hit a creep shows up? i dont see that when i play him and last hit with Q
i wish his champion age and size would grow with stacks. It's a missed opportunity imo, you would start off as a small baby dragon and grow into an adult powerful dragon as the levels increase.
50 Stacks - Teenager
100 Stacks - Adult
200 Stacks - Elder
The transition from one stage to another could be implemented in a Smooth way in which it happens automatically upon hitting the stack threshold, but you don't get stuck in the animation.
I imagine it would be so cool if your dragon goes from one form to another in the middle of the teamfight by letting out a big "roar" and doubling in size.

@@biggiecheese2004 damn, i didn't think of that. I guess for my idea to work, you would have redesign the champ for a spellcasting bruiser/off-tank build.
In a way it would balance his Insane late game abilities by also giving a bigger hitbox to his character.
So his weakness would then be CC.
Kinda makes me think of the ultimate avatar for Draconis from HoN :p
But then if they want to make a skin they would need to make 3, each one for each form. And we know from old udyr that its not a good idea
that would also cost a lot of money consider they have to draw 4 versions, hire 4 voice actors, and also makes the skins difficult to make.

Realistically in game he gets to 400 stacks maximum, it will always be quarter circle
Who cares. It's all still a circle. I'd be mad if it started changing into squares or rectangles lmao. And if you're close enough to get hit by the front half of the circle, you wouldn't have been able to dodge shit anyway since it's a targetted skill.

They might have some sort of special quest in the future but it’s very unlikely it’ll actually do anything. Smolder is coded as a champion not an elemental drake

Maybe, at least base dmg of the ability is atrociously low, it's only gigastacks that make it so op in the vid, so it will actually just be used as a mobility tool rather than part of the dmg toolkit.

Vandiril do this again but focus on E. It gains more hits with stacks so you become a machine gun that deletes anything by 2k stacks.

His W and E are buffed up too, but only damage wise. Also hard to get the bonus from W.

This is definitely what corki should have been. His Q gets bigger (could be a missile) based on stacks, his W is a huge fireball (could replace his current R), his E is a dash and can fire freely (W+E combined) and his R could be his enhanced W

400-500 or so. Well maybe more if you constantly farm jungle camps and your team allows you all the cs. So I would say maybe 700 max but that is really pushing it. ike you need to have nearly 600 cs by then.
At this rate, Smolder late game should be his mother hitting nexus and winning
