I figured since there's been a LOT of new unused stuff popping out of the Smash Bros. series as of late, and because the coverage of DYKGaming and other such channels is frankly very lacking, I'd contribute in the best way I currently can: by ripping all of the cut audio and themes and placing them in 1 video for everybody's convenience. I'd like to point out that the "very weird" sound you had at 2:54 sounds suspiciously similar to the PK Starstorm sound effect used in Earthbound. It might've been planned to be used as the sound effect when Ness uses his Final Smash. IIRC they even had the Earthbound healing sound play when you absorbed a projectile with his down+b in 64, so them planning on having another remade Earthbound sound effect play for one of his attacks isn't unlikely at all. In Smash 4 they actually have the original PK Starstorm sound play when Ness uses his Final Smash, which I find pretty nice. I never would've guessed that it was entirely possible they had the same idea for the sound to play back in Smash 64.
Overall, this is a pretty neat video. Thanks for making it. I saw someone talking about unused Smash 64 final smash sounds online and I instantly searched for a video on it.

Smash 64 only had about 16MB. I'm surprised they fit all the unused and used things in this one, tiny, cartridge.
Shadow Mario Yeah but Smash 64 didn't use a 64MB cartridge. If they did, they could've doubled the roster or added stages.
It's hard to say what Kirbys final smash would have been back then
1:50 Actually, it feels like it's used a lot as a generic jingle. For instance, I've heard the same melody in a jingle in BlazBlue Revolution Reburning.
There's also a VERY similar fanfare in Banjo-Kazooie.

So Kirby's final smash would be nerfed? I mean, since there won't be any food that appears.
SupaLuke I think it would be his giant sword like in smash 4, since they both use the same sound clips
but Kirbys final smash is based on Kirbys Return to Dreamland on the Wii
@@kingdedede333 Before Smash 4, his final smash was Cook Kirby instead of Ultra Sword Kirby.
Cook Kirby was an interesting final smash but to be honest Ultra Sword Kirby fits way more than Cook Kirby as a Final Smash.

I'm most intrigued by the fact that they planned for games to be declared a tie.
Mayro, an TH-camr, discovered unused animations in this game, he tested this throwing character with Mario, in the first one, Luigi is throwed, and he go to the ground during throwed and do the same thing that Star K.O, in others, the character throwed slowly stop being pushed and dissapears, dying. Also, (not show in video) he sayed in some comment that he found a Fox animation like he was eaten by something, probably Plants' on Mushroom Kingdoom wasn't thinked to hit you, they were planned to insta-kill someone.

I think draw game was originally meant for what im about to say.Originally there was no such thing as sudden death instead everything would work the same as how sudden death happens except the match would end at the victory area where all the characters are clapping with the announcer saying draw game.Keep in mind this is what i just think and does not mean this was what was suppose to happen

I know this comment is 2 months old, but Volt Tackle wasn't a move in Pokemon yet, it was likely a large thunderstorm kind of attack.
