Some of the things here have already been confirmed to be added later by the devs. Also, early versions of Garfield and Shredder have actually been found in the files and are playable. They don't have a model yet (they both look like a grey Spongebob) but they are functional.
The reason there are so many voice clips of the announcer reading names is because they don’t want the announcer to know who will be in the game. Smash Bros. does the same thing.
I imagine that maybe they hired the voice actor for a certain amount of time and got some spare time to put extra names just in case they decided to use them

If it was a small list of names that only had characters who were actually going to be in the game, the voice actor would know for sure who was coming and could leak the unrevealed characters.
Small correction: The model for Pooky you showed is actually for Garfield's stage, not for his Down Special. Also, Garfield and Shredder were meant for the base roster, that means Shredder will actually get his own stage since every base game character has gotten their own stage.

I'm particularly interested in that Double Dare stage. Nickelodeon's live-action shows are just as important as their animated shows and shows like iCarly are just as iconic as SpongeBob. Having stages based off Nick's live-action line-up is the perfect way to represent them imo.

That's very much a possibility. Xander Mobus, (the Smash announcer's VA) has said that Nintendo gave him a bunch of red herrings in the list of characters he called out, so that could easily be the case here for this VA too
Imagine calling Xander Mobus or the Nickelodeon announcer each time they decide to release a new character. Nintendo/Nickelodeon gives them a huge list of possible candidates for future inclusions to the game.

yeah, its pretty much common for companies to make the announcer record alot of "what if" characters to make dataminers think they found something when in reality half or only a select few are true dlc characters, more when theres a huge amount of characters being announced kinda leads you to know nearly a huge amount of them is just to trick people, like how Blazblue cross tag has a butt ton of announcer lines recorded but like 1% of it was actually made

So they put in the effort to have multiple announcer clips for cut characters, but not alternate color palettes? Even TMNT: Smash-Up offered different colored auras to tell players apart!

Ideally you'd want _at least_ one per the number of people capable of playing at once (in this case four), 4) even if they did get added officially via a patch, a lot of these are so subtle that it would be difficult to tell the difference from a distance (such as Lucy Loud's sunglasses), which kinda defeats the purpose of having alternate outfits in a Smash clone.

If the rugrats get added they should all be 1 character and be like a bowser jr type character. Have them all inside the reprar wagon and each attack is one of the babies doing something. The live action nick shows should all be stages, legends of the hidden temple, double dare, iCarly exc. If nick jr character get added they would work well as assist trophy type things, or items As for characters added I’d love to see snap from chalk zone, the crimson chin and Timmy turner, jimmy neutron, and ultra lord. Garfield and shredder are not unused characters, they're planned for a future update as they had to be cut before release, this goes for his stage too, i'm not sure about the other stage

I’m really wondering at this point if the people at Nickelodeon and Viacom just hate Fairly Oddparents as Danny Phantom was nowhere as popular as that show, and the fact they excluded characters from that series out of three crossover games now
Things that were added: Garfield and his stage, Shredder, the alternate costumes, the Double Dare stage, Rocko, and the items (except for the tree house platform, D20, turtles blimp, ukulele, stink cloud, wet floor sign, moon, sun, and sleeper).
Garfield is named orb in the files because of what he looks like, as well as his leaked moveset. Shredder is named cheese because, well you already know.
the danny phantom alt is not based on dark danny but rather based on the danny phantom opening when danny is putting on the suit when he checks out the ghost portal and ends up getting zapped and gets his ghost powers
I think the reason Timmy wasn’t in either nick kart racer games or NASB is because Nelvana is the international distributor and consumer product licenser for The Fairly OddParents,so Viacom/Nick didn’t feel like getting approval from them for FOP characters to get in the games,although Timmy was featured in a few flash games from the 2000’s and early 2010’s

Rotation refers to movements made about the longitudinal axis and in the transverse plane. Internal rotation is rotating a joint towards the midline and external rotation is rotating a joint away from the midline.
Genuinely surprised they didn't do a legends of the hidden temple level, seeing as the themeing is perfect. Same with an 'Are you Afraid of the Dark' level. I also feel like, with having rights to Garfield, they should consider things like adding in the 'Garfield and Friends' characters-- like the Farm. Mostly just thinking how fun it would be to play as Wade and how his floaty could change expressions whenever Wade gets hit.
I honestly don't know why, but I just got super hyped up when you mentioned Shredder and Rocksteady from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. (Yes, I am a TMNT fanboy. lol)
It's not Smash Bros, so I don't know why they couldn't include all the important characters from the shows. I know production costs are a thing, but we should have all 4 turtles. I doubt we are getting all the characters the announcer has voice lines for. We definitely aren't getting all the random characters that only made one appearance.
They can't include all of the characters because it takes time and money. New models, animations, voice clips, programming... They have a budget they have to work with.

If the rugrats get added they should all be 1 character and be like a bowser jr type character. Have them all inside the reprar wagon and each attack is one of the babies doing something.
The live action nick shows should all be stages, legends of the hidden temple, double dare, iCarly exc.
If nick jr character get added they would work well as assist trophy type things, or items
As for characters added I’d love to see snap from chalk zone, the crimson chin and Timmy turner, jimmy neutron, and ultra lord. El Tigre, Daggit from angry beavers, and Jenny XJ9

Garfield and shredder are not unused characters, they're planned for a future update as they had to be cut before release, this goes for his stage too, i'm not sure about the other stage

I think the reason Timmy wasn’t in either nick kart racer games or NASB is because Nelvana is the international distributor and consumer product licenser for The Fairly OddParents,so Viacom/Nick didn’t feel like getting approval from them for FOP characters to get in the games,although Timmy was featured in a few flash games from the 2000’s and early 2010’s

Genuinely surprised they didn't do a legends of the hidden temple level, seeing as the themeing is perfect. Same with an 'Are you Afraid of the Dark' level. I also feel like, with having rights to Garfield, they should consider things like adding in the 'Garfield and Friends' characters-- like the Farm. Mostly just thinking how fun it would be to play as Wade and how his floaty could change expressions whenever Wade gets hit.

I honestly don't know why, but I just got super hyped up when you mentioned Shredder and Rocksteady from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. (Yes, I am a TMNT fanboy. lol)
It's not Smash Bros, so I don't know why they couldn't include all the important characters from the shows. I know production costs are a thing, but we should have all 4 turtles. I doubt we are getting all the characters the announcer has voice lines for. We definitely aren't getting all the random characters that only made one appearance.
They can't include all of the characters because it takes time and money. New models, animations, voice clips, programming... They have a budget they have to work with.

The model of Pooky was used for the stage that you force loaded. You can see him in the background at 4:31. And the back wasn't created since the model leans against the moon, so you wouldn't see the back anyway
