My staple list: Butter Almond flour Mac’s pork rinds from WM (I make my own dust) Xanthan gum Cauli rice Lily’s Chocolate chips Carb Balance tortillas Swerve (all 3) Mozzerella (well, many flavors of cheese) Cream cheese Parmesan Classico (sometimes Rao’s) Alfredo Sauce Eggs HWC EVOO Chopped Pecans Avocado Celery Yellow Squash Onion (also green onion) Cabbage Hamburger Chorizo Bacon Sausage (I make a mixture of Hamb/breakfast sausage/chorizo every couple weeks and keep it in the fridge for rollups, so delish and satisfying) Pepperonis Beef bones (for bone broth, I freeze it in a muffin tin so I can add a “puck” to anything I make) Ranch mix powder Crystal light mango, tropical coconut (TC flavor with cream cheese, keto caramel sauce, pecans MMMM) Pink Salt Ghee Garlic Salt Natural (nothing else added) Peanut Butter These are all on my regular monthly shopping list and I don’t really vary from this much I may add other things here and there, but these are my basics.
I’m not keto I’m low low carb between 20 & 40 generally but I tend to stick to a lot of the same staples for my cupboards. I have a big tub of ground almonds I keep in the fridge and I replace it almost every month. I use it for breading chicken with seasonings and it’s so tasty, you would never know it’s was almonds, in fact my hubby eats it no problem and he’s not a nut lover.. cauli rice is another big staple, I use shelf stable rather than frozen, I’ve never liked frozen veg it tastes weird to me.. anyway.. I buy it in large quantities and use it for all sorts, have even subbed out my hubby’s rice for cauli rice and he’s happy with it. You are totally correct in saying you have to fry it for a longer period or it just tastes yuck… I don’t use pork rinds for breading or filling that’s what my almond flour is for but I do eat them as a snack… a lot of stuff is a bit harder to get in the UK so my selections are limited and very very expensive, I’m longing for the day that more keto products come our way and I don’t have to search everywhere and spend over the odds for one small portion of something….love your videos girls, you are very entertaining and have great ideas, keep it up!
I use the pork panko a lot and my favorite thing is so mix it half with parmesan cheese. I do cauliflower florets, breading them with that and sometimes some curry powder added. I have done it in the oven as well as in the air fryer and it is wonderful either way. Breading chicken breasts, or tenders or wings with it also is fun. I used them as a topping for a loaded brocoli casserole I found on Loving it on Keto's channel. Making these recipes is a great way to pull in non-keto friends so they see that it is doable and tasty too!
Missions mini keto tortillas are great. I use them regardless of my dieting status too. Also, nuts like pecans and walnuts always help me reach my fat goal for the day without adding too much protein and carbs.
Hemp hearts, chia seeds and heart of palm are staples in addition to yours in my ketogenic lifestyle. I use a mixture of chia, hemp and caulirice as the base for most of my rice replacement dishes and together they come out phenomenal. Such as sushi rice substitute and a Hispanic comfort food sopitas. Heart of palm are used as my mashed potato replacement and for lasagna noodles! Spaghetti squash for my pasta replacement too!
Nice video! I have been carnivore for a while now, but I am honestly missing the variety so much. I used to think Keto was restrictive! The only reason Keto didn’t work for me before is I allowed myself too many sweet tasting foods as well as snacks like nuts and cheeses, and that just made me overeat. So I think I’ll go more Ketovore and stay away from the sweets and snacks.
Erthritoyl is a go to for me. I use Swerve. It doesn't raise my blood glucose, and I've made things like chocolate-peanut butter fudge, brownies and cheesecake with it.
I wish I would have found you guys when I started the Keto lifestyle in April. Thankful that you are part of my Keto journey now! Way to help the newbies.
I made my keto stuffing last year with chaffles and the mixture from Serious Keto but this year I used Sola bread, dried it out, cut it up, then added Serious Keto’s mixture (just saute’d onion, celery, sage, in butter), and baked it It was so delicious with my keto cranberry sauce! I use the cran sauce all year as my go-to jelly!! I buy the cranberries during November and December and freeze them so I can make it all year I also make craisins from the leftover bits when making the jelly, I use them on salads and such! I am ever amazed at how easily I can transform non-keto foods into keto!! These ladies have been a HUGE help to me during the changeover to this lifestyle!!
Your chaffles and cauliflower rice are the best! I keep all these things in my kitchen too. If you haven’t tried Serious Keto’s cauliflower steaks, you are missing out. It is my favorite cauliflower recipe. They are so easy and the sauce is so good.
I absolutely love both of your channels but this one is indescribably motivational for me and I wish you would have a weekly video. I understand how much work goes into each video and don't want sound rude or pushy I just really value the inspiration and motivation! I appreciate all the content you provide, you are both so personable and relatable to those of us trying to live a "Technically Keto" lifestyle! Thank you :)
So… I found some PACE AVOCADO SALSA… 1g carb per 2 Tbsp serving. Shelf stable. A new necessity!! Also I watched a cooking show where they steamed a whole head of cauliflower, drained it, then slathered it with a butter and Parmesan cheese concoction and baked it. The judges loved it 😍 Of course they weren’t doing keto, but it looked like the best thing on the plate..
Love you girls…your an inspiration to a lot of us…I have managed to keep off my 50 pound weight loss and most of it due to your recipes and informative videos.
I just ordered my waffle maker and some ramekin dishes to make chocolate cake. I'm so excited! Been on this journey for 1 month and I'm feeling great! Love you ladies, thanks for all you do! 🥰
Great list. One of my basics is a jar of plain Alfredo sauce. By plain I mean not with extra garlic or extra cheese or whatever. This is a basic white sauce that you can add any other flavorings to and make it special. Like add salsa and top with cheese to make a quick creamy mexican flavored dish, etc.
I guess eggs, bacon, avocados, Philadelphia cream cheese and cooking cream are already a given. However, there are plenty of recipes that call for one or most of these ingredients, so I consider them as staples, too. To finish my list of essentials: some type of sweetener, several types of cheese (from cheddar to feta), olives, lard, olive oil, coconut and/or avocado oil, broccoli, spinach cabbage and zucchinis, flavorless low-carb or no-carb protein powder (not that essential) and electrolytes!! I’d recommend LMNT. They’re very good!
Great video! Love your videos! Thanks for the inspiration and good tips! I would really love to see a Day in the life video on eating ... also like how you might reheat the chaffles and tips on things like that
Hello ladies!!! I’ve followed your other channel for a while but am new to this one and so happy that I have inspiration from both now!!! I am 5 1/2 months pregnant with my first baby and was diagnosed with pcos years ago! Cutting out carbs has been the only thing that has even somewhat worked for me to lose weight and feel my best! I fell off track when I found out I was pregnant and now that I’m this far along I’m feeling like crap and trying to get inspired to get back on track! Thank you for these wonderful videos and giving me some motivation! 💞💞
That Pork Panko is an absolute game changer. I never made much stuff with breadcrumbs - but i still really missed deepfried chicken, scotch eggs, and mushrooms - made S.Fried Chicken at the weekend and it was bl00dy gorgeous - thank you so much for the tip ladies 🥰
good run down. i ordered the 4 chaffle maker right away. there's nothing like waiting for a single chaffle to be cooked. ugh. in the past i've cooked several batches and frozen them and i find them to toast up just fine. keep these informative videos coming. thanks.
I didn't think to freeze and toast them. I tend to just eat the whole batch! They're so darn good. I didn't have xanthan gum for the last batch but they were still pretty crunchy.
You converted me to cauliflower rice. Your cauliflower risotto is one of my regular favorite things to make. Also your tomato soup hack using Raos. Yum!
What grow system are you using for your indoor garden?? I need one. Thank you. Oh, I need Lily's chocolate. Any other kind you can suggest? Thank you for this list, appreciate it. 🙏
Love love love your channel! I always find myself looking for new ideas from you ladies. You present ideas in such a down to earth way and like many others have said, you always make me smile. I’m down 25 lbs on keto and feeling so much better!! I feel very blessed to get new ideas from you both and love to see your sweet doggies too! Keep up the great inspiration ladies ❤️❤️
My goodness, Emily, Your hair is stunning (I know Sarah's is too). My hair stopped falling out, just as you guys said. It is so healthy now. Keto rules!
I absolutely love love love your chaffels!!!!! I've made it your original way. Then I made it with garlic powder. Goes great with soup. Mmmm 😋 I also made it with other cheese. Italian cheese blend, and Mexican blend. I haven't tried the xanthum gum yet.
Aloha Beauties! So your last staple you spoke of was Califlour Rice, last week I was at Costco and came across Broccoli Rice Packages! Have you tried it yet? It said on the package that it was a 2g net carb, keto-friendly, and GF! 5 grams per serving and 2 servings per package! :) curious how it will compare...
Still haven't got brave enough to try cauliflower rice in cooking yet. Love cauliflower so tried the rice once and nasty. So still getting courage to try yours.
It also helped with my night time acid reflux by drinking some at night before bed. I was drinking it for my leg cramps so I ended up getting 2 issues resolved.
I just suggest to be careful and NOT get the Dash Multi Waffle Maker that makes SQUARE waffles. The waffles come out too thick for sandwiches. The Dash MINI Multi Waffle Maker is perfect.
@@kcloveonaleash Before entering the Keto scene, I bought the normal big Dash Multi Waffle Maker. I loved the over flow channels. It was my first waffle maker for waffles. It was the first one I tried for chaffles. They were just way too thick. And too big also. I had to break down and get the other after it came out. I use it for myself most times to give me 2 days of bread substitute with 1 pour, but I'm so tempted to get another for when I'm making for my family.

Yellow Squash
Onion (also green onion)
Cabbage
Hamburger
Chorizo
Bacon
Sausage (I make a mixture of Hamb/breakfast sausage/chorizo every couple weeks and keep it in the fridge for rollups, so delish and satisfying)
Pepperonis

Crystal light mango, tropical coconut (TC flavor with cream cheese, keto caramel sauce, pecans MMMM)

I can't live without pork panko. I order the Italian flavor and use to replace bread crumbs in meatballs, meatloaf and even put in chaffles
Hi! Love cauliflower rice. I don’t think I can ever go back to traditional rice. Thank you all you do!!!! ❤️
Cauliflower rice also makes a great head start for mashed cauliflower. Just drain and mash like potatoes.
I'm with you guys on the cauliflower rice. It has so many uses
Missions mini keto tortillas are great. I use them regardless of my dieting status too. Also, nuts like pecans and walnuts always help me reach my fat goal for the day without adding too much protein and carbs.

Miracle noodles, cauliflower, G Hughes sauces, Litehouse jalapeno ranch, and Mission Carbmaster & zero carb tortillas are a staples for me. Oh and snack stuff lol. I prefer using minced raw, fresh cauliflower. It doesn't get overcooked and mushy like the frozen version does.
Chayote is a must have too!!! It is a wonderful substitute for potatoes in soups and home fries! (I still haven’t tried them for Apple substitute…)

Where can I buy your farm stand please? Thanks. Love you guys. So so positive!

P.S. I love the LMNT electrolytes!! I was getting bad leg cramps @ 4 a.m.😂. Besides taking care of cramps, I am a fan of LMNT
It also helped with my night time acid reflux by drinking some at night before bed. I was drinking it for my leg cramps so I ended up getting 2 issues resolved.

Where might I find the rice pudding recipe you mentioned, using cauliflower. 🙀

Do you have to freeze almond flour? Thanks
No. It lasts a really long time just refrigerated. I've never had it go bad.
