I hope you've gone to the dermatologist. I'm not trying to be fake nice, I truly did not notice anything about your face other than you are both lovely women.
Oh, you both don’t need Botox, it’s poison, natural beauty is best, and you both are beautiful, lovely girls. Beauty on the inside is more important than outside, but you both have both ! ❤
One of my many talents is the ability to take a pimple that you couldn’t see if you were sitting next to me on a couch and turn it into a pimple that could be seen from the space station!! I’m 74 now and I think my pimple days are behind me now, but when I was younger it was brutal at times! You girls are so cute! Love watching…❤️
I’m so sorry. Same thing happened to me. At 31 years it started. Thousands of dollars on dermatologists, pills, skincare, Accutane twice, laser treatments. Keto, intermittent fasting, and the last round of accutane finally gone. I’m 56 years old.
For some reason I'm not able to comment. So I added it here. I used to get a huge zit. I realized it was due to constipation. Since you were traveling, that could be it.
It takes courage to share your story. I hope that people who need to hear what you have to say and who would benefit from your experience find this channel. Thank you, Emily.
I guess the advice that I would give is don't beat yourself up over things. We do the best we can with what we know, but we also don't have to live up to any standards other than our own.
Personally I like listening to someone who is a real transparent person who struggles like I do. I feel like were on a team when you can identify with who you are watching and that its ok to not be perfect but the choices we make can help you make progress and progress is attainable. I think you are both pretty women. Anyone who says you are not are focusing on one imperfection and not the whole picture. I know you cant take away the insecurities but you do positively affect your fans.
I'm sorry that happened to you Emily and I hope you recover completely. You are both SO gorgeous! I just found your channels a few weeks ago and have been binge watching. Beautiful lips, hair, eyes, LOTS of great humor. You are both definitely beautiful inside and out!
I never had a problem until I was 30 ish, in a sad disfunctional marriage and dealing with my Mom's terminal cancer diagnosis and 5 yrs of care😢. I had to constantly mess with chin breakouts and now I have small scars
This Indiana white (like almost clear) girl went to Miami a few years ago and the sun gave me these two “sun spots” that are darker than the rest of my face. I hate those things. Covering them up doesn’t work. I share that to let you know as far as face issues go, I understand. Even so, I think you both are so pretty. I very much enjoy your fb page (great community) and your channels here. You are so real, so helpful, and I trust you.
Sunscreen, kindness to your face and allow yourself time to heal. In the meantime, red or orange color corrector. Fenty Beauty makes one that seems popular. Good for age spots too. That’s how I know about this. You two are beautiful and amazing!
My daughter takes Pantetine, it’s a vitamin supplement that works very well for her. She also takes Dr. Berg’s Adrenal & Cortisol Support and Adrenal Stress, which work really good for stress. I hope this helps.
Thank you. I've had a white thing on the end of my nose for 2 years. Acid hasn't worked!!! Will now let nature take its course and hopefully my face biom will heal it. Love you two!
You're very brave to be so honest, it can't be easy dealing with everything that you have had happening over the last year, and then having unhelpful and hurtful comments online too. As many others have said, you're both beautiful girls and I honestly can't say that I ever noticed anything amiss but then again, I don't look for that kind of thing! I just really enjoy your videos and love that you are so down to earth and "ordinary" for want of a better word. With regards to your psoriasis on the forehead, my son had treatment after treatment for years for a rash across his forehead until a new GP in our surgery suggested he could be coeliac...and he was! He now follows a gluten free diet and the rash has never come back.
@@technicallyketoSandwich it with moisturizer too (so moisturizer first tret, then moisturizer on top) to buffer it a bit, it can help the dryness Tretinoin can sometimes bring on
I used sandwich method and started twice a week with no problems…my prescription so far is very low strength tretinoin through Agency online. I just started it the past 4 weeks. They will increase dose in next followup.
Wow!! Thank you so much for this video. At 42 years old I just learned a lifetime of great information that would’ve been useful long before now. Thank you for breaking it down the way you did. It makes complete sense. I love your videos. I will continue to watch them ❤❤
Thanks, as always, for your bravery with being vulnerable. I’ve been there, too. Best advice you will receive … the only advice you should follow. You’re in the great city of Chicago. Do your research and find yourself a great dermatologist. She will guide you on what you can and should do. Research products she recommends before dropping a fortune and follow instructions, even if they are prescription. Or better yet, ask for samples from her office to try things out, given your recent traumatic history. I know of what I speak, dude, really! Thanks for talking again about what we don’t talk about enough. You’re welcome. (Ain’t I arrogant? 🤗)
You both are awesome. You are beautiful. I just subscribed to your second channel. I have been a keto twins follower since I first came across that channel.. I totally understand. I am 71 and I have been on keto for about 4 years. I have slimmed down as a result but I spend about 2 hours a day working on my face trying to keep myself from showing my age. I do face yoga, face exercises, guasha and of course plucking. Very exhausting but I think it is all worth it in the end
Hey Emily, go to the pharmacy and ask for Resinol. A prescription isn't required but you do have to get it from them. Abt $6. Use it on a cut, pimple, rash, etc. It's a miracle cream.
I would highly recommend Dr Idriss here on TH-cam. She’s a dermatologist and shares so much helpful info. Focus on gentle barrier repair products to heal the barrier then go from there with adding other stuff.
I’m so sorry you have to deal with this, at the same time dealing with your father’s death. I would urge you to see a dermatologist. They can really help you.
The good news: you still look great! Nice advice: make an appointment with a dermatologist who specializes in aesthetic treatments. They may have a different take on things.
Thank you for sharing. I appreciate it very much because I was just thinking of getting one. I am Fil-Canadian and I have hyperpigmentation which is finally improving and oh my gosh! What if I got red light therapy. Oh my, thank you! I actually posted about you on my Community page asap before anyone buys red light device especially if they ar brownskinned. Im tirning 63 in August so i dont have as many years as you both do lol so i cant take risks at all. Subscribed and happy to support your channel!❤
My heart absolutely breaks for all the stress you've gone through over your face. I had 💯 Not Noticed anything over this last year - honest! I'm so glad to see that things have turned around. You both are just such amazingly sweet, raw, open people = that I truly love to watch!! Perhaps you two have never dealt with this issue, but I'm only 6 months into my low carb / keto lifestyle. I've been doing really well, however I am still dealing with a lot of swelling in my calves/ ankles. (Especially at night when I pull my socks off). Any tips or tricks? I thought a month of keto would've solved that issue, but sadly it's not yet.
Thanks, Emily for sharing your struggle. Right now I'm dealing with a traveling rash on my neck and face. Doctor at Walk-in clinic prescribed Prednisone. 2.5 days later it's going away, thank God! Might have been a bug/spider bite or a new feather pillow 🤔 Have a blessed week 💜🙏✌️🎶💐🌞
I really enjoy watching you two! You are so generous and funny! I’m so sorry that Emily is suffering with this, but I was glad to hear about the probiotic. Maybe look into Dr. William Davis book Super Gut. A healthy gut is very important and with everything you have been through your gut might need a bit more support. His “yogurt” might just help. Read other reviews about his book. And just like you said, be patient. Keep us posted. 💖
Great topic. Congratulations on being helpful to others! So much anxiety over appearance. I guess it’s not all women but I think women suffer more over any imperfections. It’s like we’re supposed to be a piece of artwork for the world. Sorry. Can you tell I have a pet peeve? Thanks for this video.
Keep your pillow cases clean or even put a wash clothe under where you are resting your cheek. Lastly take your phone take cover off every night and wipe off with disenfective towel. clean phone less germs on cheek.
Bless ur heart! I never dealt with that either, but that is important to help others. So sorry. Y'all are a wealth of knowledge to be so young. Thank you
I'm just wondering who said you gals had to be PERFECT to be here??? You two pour it all out on the ground for us, and that's what we're here for... Have you researched castor oil for your face? Restarting my locs, so I use it on my hair and my face seems to appreciate it as well! 🤭 Hey!, how bout telling us how that HAIR stays looking fabulous? 🤔
Something to try when you feel a pimple coming on if you will take a mixture of raw honey and cinnamon and cover it with a bandaid overnight. The pimple will not finish forming. At least this is what works for me.
I would love for you to discuss how to avoid constipation on Keto! 😮😊Sometimes I feel I’m not getting enough fiber? Has this been a problem for you two and if so, how did you solve it? Thank you!
Benefiber is a flavorless soluble fiber that dissolves totally in water and other drinks. Psyllium husk is the fiber in another common fiber powder, Metamucil iirc. If you can't have those, Miralax is different, works like magnesium citrate by pulling water into the bowel with osmosis. It's safe long-term and used in a drink daily, no taste and dissolves completely also unless you get it flavored. There are generic brands too.
Which bare minerals foundation do you use?? I used to use the og lose powder for years but now they have a few types. Just curious.. you've got me wanting to try it again.
I have no idea if it helps, but I'm a white guy and hydrogen peroxide on a zit has worked very well for me. Just take a Q-tip and soak it in it and rub it on the zit. twice a day and before you know it it's gone.

Yes! I did not notice, either
Same! I also agree with the dermatologist suggestion.
