I think they will make a console version they just want to port it to pc first then take a few five or six more months after the pc release to drop the Console version of course this is just a guess on my part & I'd be happy with any release seeing as how I have spent over 300$ on my steam hear me out its better than a Nintendo & no Bundle Atlus is turning a profit on titles with P6 release Nintendo in decline they don't respect players less profit earned on average their fault.

That's what I do with a certain mobile game. In order to not get addicted to investing on these games I only spend If I really want it... And only if there is no other choice... In some way I kinda try to consider it a challenge... Like, can make a plan to go further into the game without paying... And the amount I pay I kinda say to myself that it is part of my contribution for the developers of the game... In the end they need to make money
I feel like western players are much more likely to stay f2p or be low spenders on gacha games and I thinks thats a big reason why it took so long to get a confirmed global release. Pretty much until genshin hit the scene I never knew anyone who actually spent money on them.

I don't know why i haven't heard of P5X but this actually looks good. Its crazy how much quality Gacha games got these days. It doesnt look like a weak attempt at monopolizing the franchise which is kinda surprising. P5X isnt an outstanding gacha game by any means,but it's good,what i will give. Also they did a kinda smart thing with how they present a characters for gacha system,which gives em space to make literally any crazyness and it will still work.
As much of a gacha game this is it doesn't feel like one after playing this game the entire time its been put its a ton of fun and doesn't make you feel like you have to drop a cent. Most 4 stars are better than some 5 stars/ currency is very generous and the events are amazing!
To be fqir, the game hasn't been out that long. Gacha games usually front load a ton of currency early on but will decrease dramatically after a while.
I play Honkai star rail as my everyday gaccha i keep up with. Seeing another turn based with good quality and of a series thats my number one favorite. im beyond excited to play and enjoy the game

Just like all the rest of the game, other Phantom gangs will but i guess Kasumi and Akechi will be come in future as a separate timeline since story of P5X is same timeline as P5 not P5R.

Keep in mind the enhanced version overtakes the original, but the first sequel story Strikers didn't reference Royal directly is due to development and release timings, though there are similar concepts in both projects. Based on some live panels, they are already planning more cross fate events with other P5 console titles, including Strikers and Tactica, meaning no title left behind. It can be assumed Atlus planned another P5 spin off console title to close the generation proper, but their current promotion priority is Reload the Answer and Re;Fantazio.
Because there are more gacha games, and they may not be action RPGs, there are rhythm games, like puroseka, bandori, d4dj. And a lot of other genres. Lots of stuff in general.
I would love to see them add characters from past persona games (3, 4, Strikers, etc. maybe even characters farther in the past if they feel like it) just for the hell of it. It feels like the story or lore isn’t really the main focus here so they could really take the opportunity to just go nuts. Add older characters, update their designs to fit P5, or don’t, it doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things, because it’s a Persona gacha game. That, and I’m sure they would like some extra Yu Narakami money.
The only thing i'm excited about is for the lolz when articles start dropping : " Man/Child without adult supervision from X country spends Y amount of local currency on Persona Gotcha game "
My only concern with coming Globally is if they alter or change how much free stuff is given to us. Playing the Taiwan version I never feel the need to spend money on pulls. All the events and weekly stuff I feel like I get a steady supply of them that I'd be willing to toss in the usual $5 for 30 days currency but not to a whale level needing 6 copies of the banner. If this stays unchanged for the global version, I know I'll stick around for a long time.
Definitely a valid concern. If they want this game to be big I doubt they would change their current monetisation plans. It's part of the reason why I recommend people to check out this game even if they're not gacha fans.

Ive been a fan sense I met the TH-camr johnawsome then after that I got presona 5 royal strikers and soon person tactica and now when it gets a global release persona X I can’t wait this will be another game I will play more and more out of I love persona and there music I will be waiting for the English release
My concern is the missed events that had already occurred when the global release finally comes out. it wont matter that much but it will still feel bad to know there was exclusive content but it would be even stranger just for ease of the company to stagger the game for the rest of the world so they're a bit behind. Ultimately it doesn't amount to much but I think it's worth discussing.
I think it was because they didn't know how well the game was going to do at first. Although I do agree, I hope they re-do all the events because some of them were really fun!

I'm a little mixed on this game being tied to p5 kinda wish it was its own spin off persona game because how does this fit into the lore/story having memetos and everything back? but Persona is a very natural fit for a mobile game so cautiously optimistic even for someone that hates mobile.
I think it’s actually been confirmed that p5x actually takes place in a different timeline/universe than the main timeline so none of what happens in p5x is canon to the main persona timeline.
Sweet, can't wait for the cracked save files to play for the story and skip the gacha. Unless it gets a paid version that's just...you know, the stuff people actually care about with enough substantial content to be worth the asking price. Then tack on the gacha for those that wanna link it to their phones or w/e. Time will tell, hope it's worth it.
I dunno, I play korean version, with no translation at all, and I'm fine because the voices are still japanese, and most stuff is voiced. Not all but most, and I just happen to understand japanese and live in japan The game is so generous on rocks, I havent had even the slightest thought to donate, not that you can donate on chinese or korean version without a respective country's account in Google Play or wherever Also note, that if a console version is planned, it'll only happen after all parts of the story are released. And we have like 2.5 chapters of the story as of patch 2.0

gamble away real money to buy in-game currency to purchase a small chance to get a character in that game. Then do it repeatedly hoping your outcome is different each time.
You have to understand that these games (spin-offs, gatcha, whatever) are literally what fund the main games. SEGA sure as hell isn’t gonna give them enough budget so they have to improvise. How do you think these games manage to be so long with near-full voice acting? Almost forgot to mention, not only that, but an original soundtrack from talented musicians? Exactly. Money.
I really hate Gatcha games. Why everyone makes gatcha games now? Well it's obvious, it's the best money making machine. Gatcha games are the most profitable games out of any other. As unfortunately capitalism demans more and more profit, more of great titles becomes Gatcha... Gatcha games are inherently flawed, they will never be good games, never. Why? There are many reasons: 1 Gatcha games have to make new content to stay relevant to keep players engaged on playing the game In case of Genshin, Honkai and ZZZ they have to introduce new characters. This have several problems, old characters getting powercrept and just forgotten. Who even remembers characters like Amber, Lisa or Yun jin in Genshin? Yeah nobody, they are 1 time characters, they get hype at the beginning and get forgotten then afterwards by everyone. They don't appear in the story, you don't engage with them, they are simply forgotten... Persona series is great because of it's few cast of awesome, memorable characters. Each character is always in the story, they're not powercreapt or forgotten. It's impossible to create dozens of characters and make all of them relevant and not forgotten. 2 Dailies, no matter how good the game is, dailies are going t get old real fast. I am a veteran Genshin player, I got bored of dailies after 1 month of the game. They feel like a chore rather something I wanna always do. 3 incomplete gameplay experience, just imagine if in perosna 5, Makoto, Riyuji or Ann were unplayable. Imagine you have to grind to get a chance to get thoose characters in your patry.... The thought terrifies me! I am not even talking about limited time banners or events... I play games since I was 5, and 19 years of experience with hundreds of games though me one thing. Gatcha game will never be a good game! My best games of all time are complete games! Persona series Old nfs series, Generals Minecraft So on and so forth... I tried many many gatcha games, Seven deadly sins, Clash royale, Genshin, Honkai, ZZZ. They're terrible games!! Seeing Atlus approve if phantom X, and let such an awesome franchise go to drain is just unbearable. I fear the worst, worst being more of my favorite games turn to Gatcha, and ruin such legacy. Trust me guys, it doesn't matter how good Phantom X is now, it's going to get worse over time. No Gatcha game has ever been a good game, and unfortunately this is not going to be an exception 😔
While I agree with a lot of your post, I’ve been playing phantom x for a long while now and I’ve been having a blast with it. It’s got everything a mainline persona game has with a bunch of other side games or challenges to keep it engaging. Plus, I haven’t needed to spend a penny on it to enjoy it fully. I would at least give it a chance before dismissing all of the great things about it just because it’s gacha

I actually think (from a “the persona 5 fandom ONLY wants persona 5 again” thought process) this game isn’t a bad idea. While I do agree with a lot of your points (power-creeping, and playing everyday being tedious), I think what’s more important is to consider everything from a casual-player perspective, someone who might play 1-10 hours a week. They might put more hours into the game if they see a charcuterie they’re genuinely interested in, but besides that, they’ll only play on occasion. That’s a majority of the player base, and what’s important is to keep new content satiating casual players enough that they won’t delete the game, or focusing on keeping updates engaging enough to keep new players coming in. I think if the game focuses on good gameplay and nice enough designs (which is one of the over-arching praises of the game I’ve heard), it will do well enough for as long as Atlus wants it to stay. Also, I think you saying every gacha game is “bad” is your own opinion in this situation. While communities will die down with time, I know that ZZZ, and Genshin specifically (while not perfect) make an insane amount of money, and has a large player base. So while you specifically think they may suck long-term, they do make money for the companies associated with them, and give creatives an outlet long-term.
Well, with a lot of Gacha Games, we can choose the language we want to play the game with. So even there is a Dub, I'm sure you still can play with the JP Dub or even CN Dub 😅

I am both ashamed and unashamed to say I've spent money PJSK but it's the only gacha I've actually spent money on. So I've got that going for me.
I wouild definetely play on my android when it release the global version (if my phone doesn't crash) and would also download the game on console too.

It's still a gacha game at the end of a day, wish this was a spin-off of 5 and was just sold like any other persona game.

Also gaccha games are real easy to keep with as f2p. Everything is usually clearable with 4 stars. 4 stars generally even compete with 5 stars.

You have to understand that these games (spin-offs, gatcha, whatever) are literally what fund the main games. SEGA sure as hell isn’t gonna give them enough budget so they have to improvise. How do you think these games manage to be so long with near-full voice acting?

I really hate Gatcha games. Why everyone makes gatcha games now? Well it's obvious, it's the best money making machine. Gatcha games are the most profitable games out of any other.
As unfortunately capitalism demans more and more profit, more of great titles becomes Gatcha...
Gatcha games are inherently flawed, they will never be good games, never.
Why?
There are many reasons:
1 Gatcha games have to make new content to stay relevant to keep players engaged on playing the game
In case of Genshin, Honkai and ZZZ they have to introduce new characters. This have several problems, old characters getting powercrept and just forgotten.
Who even remembers characters like Amber, Lisa or Yun jin in Genshin?
Yeah nobody, they are 1 time characters, they get hype at the beginning and get forgotten then afterwards by everyone. They don't appear in the story, you don't engage with them, they are simply forgotten...
Persona series is great because of it's few cast of awesome, memorable characters. Each character is always in the story, they're not powercreapt or forgotten.
It's impossible to create dozens of characters and make all of them relevant and not forgotten.
2 Dailies, no matter how good the game is, dailies are going t get old real fast. I am a veteran Genshin player, I got bored of dailies after 1 month of the game. They feel like a chore rather something I wanna always do.
3 incomplete gameplay experience, just imagine if in perosna 5, Makoto, Riyuji or Ann were unplayable. Imagine you have to grind to get a chance to get thoose characters in your patry.... The thought terrifies me!
I am not even talking about limited time banners or events...
I play games since I was 5, and 19 years of experience with hundreds of games though me one thing. Gatcha game will never be a good game!

I tried many many gatcha games, Seven deadly sins, Clash royale, Genshin, Honkai, ZZZ. They're terrible games!!
Seeing Atlus approve if phantom X, and let such an awesome franchise go to drain is just unbearable. I fear the worst, worst being more of my favorite games turn to Gatcha, and ruin such legacy.
Trust me guys, it doesn't matter how good Phantom X is now, it's going to get worse over time. No Gatcha game has ever been a good game, and unfortunately this is not going to be an exception 😔

While I agree with a lot of your post, I’ve been playing phantom x for a long while now and I’ve been having a blast with it. It’s got everything a mainline persona game has with a bunch of other side games or challenges to keep it engaging. Plus, I haven’t needed to spend a penny on it to enjoy it fully. I would at least give it a chance before dismissing all of the great things about it just because it’s gacha

I actually think (from a “the persona 5 fandom ONLY wants persona 5 again” thought process) this game isn’t a bad idea.
While I do agree with a lot of your points (power-creeping, and playing everyday being tedious), I think what’s more important is to consider everything from a casual-player perspective, someone who might play 1-10 hours a week. They might put more hours into the game if they see a charcuterie they’re genuinely interested in, but besides that, they’ll only play on occasion. That’s a majority of the player base, and what’s important is to keep new content satiating casual players enough that they won’t delete the game, or focusing on keeping updates engaging enough to keep new players coming in. I think if the game focuses on good gameplay and nice enough designs (which is one of the over-arching praises of the game I’ve heard), it will do well enough for as long as Atlus wants it to stay.
Also, I think you saying every gacha game is “bad” is your own opinion in this situation. While communities will die down with time, I know that ZZZ, and Genshin specifically (while not perfect) make an insane amount of money, and has a large player base. So while you specifically think they may suck long-term, they do make money for the companies associated with them, and give creatives an outlet long-term.
