When you fail to let go and become someone new)
I really love how Persona 6 will have green as a predominant color. Given the topics explored with the Persona series, do you think maybe they'll touch on someone being "Green with Envy"? Not to mention other symbolism with plants/nature, green gemstones, etc. Regardless - HYPE!!! 😆
With the green colour scheme on top of the main characters supposedly being artists, I speculate that the theme of the game could be on the corruption of capitalism and productivity in relation to adult life. How to society, money is the most important thing, not how happy you are with the job that you have or following your passions. The "dark" mechanic seems very interesting, it could tie to that theme somehow? Like how people become greedy? Not sure yet
green is also associated with nature, nature is used quite a lot in japanese media due to nature being a focus in buddhism. nature is also just generally used in writing to represent someones “true nature”. their naked self, or a version of themselves not tied down by social pressures and norms. it can be dark, but it also be an enlightened version of ones self. while that may sound similar to persona 4, theres a lot of other things they can do with nature. like nature vs nurture themes. that would work really well for persona and especially a high school setting.
Interesting how this leaker talked a lot about the importance of 2s in the game, and a theme of green and black. And now we have Head on the Block talking about dual protagonists as well, in combination with mentions of a main green colour, but themes of black and white, like the yin yang. Recently, Midori posted an early Persona 6 logo design. Not only did she reply to someone speaking about the looped P and 6 in the logo with, “it is on the edge of yin and yang” (a tease?), but ALSO followed up the original tweet by saying “please look forward to more information on the future of the Persona series 💚🖤🤍”. To me, given her agreement that the colour of P6 is green, this almost seems like a soft confirmation of the duality/black&white theming as well? Only Head on the Block said both protagonists were playable in the same story. Really interesting links, anyway! With the green and yin Yang theming, it could be a really cool opportunity to look at some things green represents and its inverse: wealth vs poverty, nature vs industrialisation/technology, sickness vs health. Running with the idea of two protagonists, it makes me wonder (if they are twins) if they were separated at some point, raised apart, and now represent one side of each of those dualities. The most interesting one would be good/evil, because to play as a villain and a hero would be pretty cool, especially if that villain was akin to Maruki in moral grey-ness. As a side note, would LOVE a 1.5 year story instead of the usual April-December, and skip-through of the remaining months. Praying that with all these recent leaks it means that a reveal (at least a chair-like tease) is imminent (More Ahead live concert???? If we’re talking a chair-level tease).
if true then its safe to say that half of year of school settings would be a Prologue to the bigger story while the Adult story setting for 1 year is the MAIN DISH of the story of what it means to be an adult. this would be interesting that will break the convention of persona series that always take place in April in school as a Teen Protag.
Not to mention the number 2 playing a significant role... which just so happens to be the same number strongly related to that very same painter existed, both in Persona and real life 🤔

According to that Reddit post you were talking about, the party members are artists. “Artist” is an actual Jungian archetype. Sometimes it’s called “creator”. According to Jungian psychology, the artist or creator archetype emphasizes talent and creativity. It seeks to craft one’s magnum opus. Bottom line, the archetype is all about creating stuff. I can imagine what the velvet room will look like in this game: The Velvet Room will take on the appearance of an art museum. The attendant would be dressed like a museum tour guide. P3 has Tartarus P4 has the Midnight Channel P5 has the Metaverse What would P6 have? Not sure, maybe a world that resembles a surrealistic art piece, courtesy of Salvador Dali’s works. If this is to be taken with a grain of salt then I would say the idea is decent.
I’m hoping the duel protagonists will be handled similarly to Astral Chain, where you play as one of the twins while the other becomes a bit of an antagonist.
Being the color green, the main color, I hope they return to a more rural setting similar to Inaba, linking with P4regolden. Like P5/P3 is basically a more urban map, Tokyo and Odaiba.

Actually... having these new two protagonists and after that envolving a little bit of adult life into the game... plus the scheme of having the number 2 on it... To me it just makes me think that this game can be seen as a preparation for the remake of Persona 2... specially having also in consideration that the game that people wanted to have a remake the most after Persona 3 was Persona 2 on a list where it was included a ton of games of Atlus... Seems all connected... Won't be surprised that eventually if this has success... which it will let's be honest... P2 remake can be on the horizon... plus a female protagonist in Persona 2 for the younger generation claiming about wanting to play with a female character...
main color is green, (my favorite color) the other being black which is my fave color combo with green and black, AND the number 2 is important, which is my favorite number. Guys they made the game for me trust.
I honestly hope these rumors turn out to be true. Already I'm liking the idea of a slightly older cast and an art-school setting instead of a typical high school. Visiting areas outside of Tokyo or even outside of Japan would be nice too, though I know with the exception of a few entries like Strange Journey, most of the SMT games tend to be set in Tokyo. I guess we'll just have to wait til next year to see how things turn out. But I'm quite excited either way. ATLUS tends to knock things out of the park, especially with Persona, and I'm sure they'll have more surprises for us going forward.
I hope the summoning method involves blood contracts (just something I imagined, like signing a contract on your hand in blood when you summon your persona.)
@@katofphats3689Don't forget Teddy as well. However, I believe the point Clorox was trying to make is how ultimately the role of the main navigator usually falls on a female character, whereas Morgana, Teddy or Akechi only fulfill that role temporarily and are never highlighted as being navigators when they do so.
If I were to imagine, depending on who you play as determines which of the twins end up as the “Wild Card”. The other is just reserved to a normal party member
Bro the whole art facility thing reminds me of my own school, since its specialized. If all goes well, this may be the game I relate to the most, but who knows? I just hope Atlus goes out of their way to do their best. Will be expecting a free musical CD as well
With the theme being artists and art, I'm hoping to see either/both Leonardo Da Vinci and Mozart as personas for the main cast. Would be awesome to see.
Shot in the dark is a mechanic of an open map being covered in black and for every part of the map you open up (either by exploring or beating beating a dungeon) its gets painted white (or green) Excited for this game. If there is like a twin situation again, ill be a little sad, because im more hoping for either they become your rival like pokémon or like you play through swapping between protags like yakuza 8 and then they come together at the end or something.
i'm really curious as to what the theme of persona 6 could be. i know the original persona also dealt with the question of the perception of reality, but starting with persona 3, the theme was of course "memento mori" it explored why we should live despite the inevitability of death. persona 4 explored the existence of "truth" and why we should still strive for truth despite it being illusive and sometimes even painful. persona 5 explored the concept of justice and freedom and p5 royal built on those themes by introducing and criticizing the alternate thought of "freedom" by the means of avoiding pain and distorting reality. p5r also feels like it has a more modern critique of psychiatry. it feels like the persona series has taken inspiration from philosophical movements throughout history in a chronological fashion and that atlus has constructed each game around those themes. If the theme of persona 6 really has to do with art, maybe it does not build on the past themes as the usual pattern has been, but instead attempts to subvert them in a way? could the new theme be related to post-modernism?
I can't remember where, but I'm pretty sure I've seen these rumors in some other video covering P6 news..? Like with the twin protagonists, one girl one boy. The idea would be that the 'other' twin becomes the one involved with the mysterious/magical part of the overall story, and you play as that twin during nighttime. This also works with the rumors about the open-world setting and the 'dark' zones mentioned here. The dark zones could refer to the nighttime versions of the areas you usually play in. Plus, the whole importance of duality in this game: green for the protagonist your choose and black or dark for the other one ...? Oh, also, the logo leak that just came out. Anyways, that's about all else I've heard of. I'm super excited for the new game, considering the jump in quality/experience with each main title so far, and that this entry will likely have a more mature/darker setting! Great video by the way, you actually covered some interesting stuff unlike others just repeating the same vague rumors we already know about :)
idk why anyone would complain about Atlus mentioning DLC cause they're one of the few companies that do it RIGHT. They've always delivered HARD on the mainline titles of both the SMT and persona series, and the DLC just enhances it
Hope the cast will be a bunch of different kind of artists, like musicians painters etc. that would be super cool I watched the video a little more and seems that will be what happens!!! Yay!!!!
If they're gonna try something different with summoning Personas, I think it'd be cool if they made it so the characters actually turn into/merge with their Persona.
I'm getting more and more excited for P6 honestly, and if those other leaks are true, as an artist who just entered adulthood I feel like I'll definitely end up relating to a lot in the game
If it have something to do with duality in a more overt way than past games, I'd love more lore on golden shadows. Like, even shadows can be made from something good and they tend to run away rather than fight. Then we have the shadows that want to be human and tend to be good. There's still a lot of mystery with the "good" shadows that i'd love to see explored. I really hope we get something at Summer Game Fest just because waiting until TGS or TGA with be a nightmare now there's been some pick-up of momentum by fans.
If the themes of the game revolve around art and artists, it would be so insanely cool if they bring yusuke back as one of the games confidants. Maybe he's an art teacher at the school, or maybe even a party member. (This is highly unlikely as far as im concerned, but the fan service man, think of the fan service!)
4:48 people don’t understand. A lot of Japanese media depict high school life BECAUSE adult life is monotonous and difficult. Alot of adults look back on their high school days and consider it the best time of their life. And in a place like Japan where the work culture chews up and spits out people so much they literally die of overwork, it’s no wonder why so many are drawn to depictions of high school as an escape.
In past Japanese people believed having twins is a bad omen. Look at demon slayer with yoriichi and kokushibou(my favorite upper moon) one became the strongest demon slayer and the other became a demon. If we got twins as protagonists for persona 6 one becomes the hero and the other twin fights their sibling. That would be cool just the tone for persona 6 would be so dark
I imagine one of the characters working some kind of desk job that they hate, but left their art career behind because they need money to pay bills. The realist of the bunch.
I want so bad for these rumors to be true, especially about the art school setting and taking place during your last year of high school to first year of adulthood. That is literally where I am rn in my own life and I'd go insane if one of the party members turns out to be an animator too
I will put this here, because this is something I've been thinking about for about a year maybe, and it's that in idea I've had were the party members have 2 personas. One is their initial persona, that evolves later on in the story like in P3, during a plot moment that's linked to a moment where the character matures Then the second persona is related to the party member's social link. This persona would be unlocked either around the second half of the link and get upgraded through the last few levels, or it would be a surprise, appearing in the 10th rank as they close the social link arc. Considering the "2 is an important number" thing mentioned in this video, I find this possibility to be more likely and probably more enjoyable. I find some party members to be very restricted in what they do, and I'd find this interesting
Given how Persona likes to tackle real world topics and Persona 5 was inspired by a lot of recent societal issues at the time of its creation. I’m willing to bet it’s going to somehow involve the erosion of Japanese culture by foreign influence and in particular have at least one plot point discussing the flood of foreign content creators causing problems and just terrorizing the public. So Harmony and Fear would be a good connection to make there.
@@fist-of-doom487 The color green also represents nature. Japan has a lot of environmental issues with earthquakes and tsunamis in particular and there's also a great contrast between urban and rural locations. Would be interesting if they used the environment in the open world more since they typically do not for Persona games. Green also represents envy, which can definitely be used as a plot-point for villains or other characters. They will lash-out in desire for the money/power/fame others have, which creates fear. It would be interesting if they somehow combined all the things I mentioned.
I don't think there will be. I think they're going the DLC route for new content now. SMT V is only getting a re-release because it genuinely needed one.
@@oberon_relic1161we dont know, however midori did confirm that sega and atlus have been trying or want to try out new dlc plans for flagship series. the wave of dlc for p3 reload are one example of this. you can argue its not a good dlc plan but since it features new story elements, people think thats what they will try to do. whether this translates to them not doing rereleases is another question. japanese devs just LOVE rereleases but maybe they wont do it. so theres no confirmation on it but take that for what its worth.
If P6 come out in 2025, we will have video teaser in this year. Probably 2026. And even then, global players still need to wait for the English version.
i’m pretty sure i’ve heard that p6 is going to have just one release, meaning the english version is going to be released the same day as the japanese version
I love the idea of new persona mechanics and if I had to guess it would be the ability to talk to personas beyond introductions and I think that would be so amazing. Could be as simple as digimon cyber sleuth and talking to digimon or as complex as a confidant either way it’s really cool! And the zone mechanic could maybe be a natural world and a futuristic world as the dungeons. The initial green seen seemed to be kind of like a neon green so that could be futuristic, while the dark could be forest or dark green. I think that would be so cool and could have some interesting story involvement with classical art styles vs newer ones.
Although the dancing games are not that good. All the other Persona spin-offs are either good or great. I really love how Persona 6 will have green as a predominant color.
Given the topics explored with the Persona series, do you think maybe they'll touch on someone being "Green with Envy"? Not to mention other symbolism with plants/nature, green gemstones, etc.
Regardless -
HYPE!!!
@ArianAurelius Communisona 6
😂😂😂
That would be hella ironic with the company producing it 😂
Interesting how this leaker talked a lot about the importance of 2s in the game, and a theme of green and black.
Artists and art being a major theme? Something has me guessing a certain Austrian painter from Persona 2 is going to return... lmao
With or without the shades?
Not to mention the number 2 playing a significant role... which just so happens to be the same number strongly related to that very same painter existed, both in Persona and real life 🤔
If this game was to have an antagonistic persona user like akechi...

I can imagine what the velvet room will look like in this game:
The Velvet Room will take on the appearance of an art museum. The attendant would be dressed like a museum tour guide.

The “More Ahead” concert DOES seemed suspiciously named. It’s also the same weekend as the Xbox Showcase AND Summer Game Fest, which seems strangely placed? Maybe I’m just trying to find links where there are none because I’m desperate for any kind of info. I feel like I’ve thought the release of P6 was ‘just around the corner’ for years now lol. I’ll never forget the burn of thinking the ‘secret’ promotional art cards at the beginning of the 25th anniversary would have the P6 protagonist on it lol.
I couldn’t agree more! This time I do think it’s right around the corner lol
Actually... having these new two protagonists and after that envolving a little bit of adult life into the game... plus the scheme of having the number 2 on it...
I think if you choose one twin the other twin becomes a party member and one of the new social links.

ATLUS tends to knock things out of the park, especially with Persona, and I'm sure they'll have more surprises for us going forward.
the older cast wont happen its persona so it wont make any sense to have an older cast when every cast since the beginning were students
If it is art-themed, it would be an extremely missed opportunity to not have Yosuke referenced or make a cameo.

I hope the summoning method involves blood contracts (just something I imagined, like signing a contract on your hand in blood when you summon your persona.)
They should break the cycle and have a male navigator instead.
Persona 5 Royal had Akechi as a temporary navigator. It's possible this will happen in the future.
Morgana erasure.
@@katofphats3689Don't forget Teddy as well. You mean sothis hair
Why on earth would someone trying to avoid spoilers even click on this video?

That hexcode thing has to be the sneakiest thing or a very bizarre coincidence. Take your pick.
Byleth got a haircut and went to a whole new universe.
I think when it referred to the colors it was meant to be Black, but the translator messed up
If they're gonna try something different with summoning Personas, I think it'd be cool if they made it so the characters actually turn into/merge with their Persona.

That's very exciting!
holy shit it does not feel that long since persona 5, hell even persona 4 feels like it came out last year

I'm getting more and more excited for P6 honestly, and if those other leaks are true, as an artist who just entered adulthood I feel like I'll definitely end up relating to a lot in the game
My headcannon: double protag... twins.. different? Dark and Green???
It's Slime and Black Ooze
I hope @atlus does a blend of high-school and adult cast.
Persona 5 was a real blast! I really cant imagen how to top that amazing experience but im looking Forward to it
I just hope the game will take place mostly in nature to go with the whole green theme. Yes, Tokyo is a cool place and all, but we've seen it by now.
I want so bad for these rumors to be true, especially about the art school setting and taking place during your last year of high school to first year of adulthood. That is literally where I am rn in my own life and I'd go insane if one of the party members turns out to be an animator too

WAIT HOLD THE F- UP! IS IT POSSIBLE THAT WE'RE GETTING A YUSUKE CAMEO?!?!?! IMAGINE YUSUKE GOING TO COLLEGE!!!! 0.0
I will put this here, because this is something I've been thinking about for about a year maybe, and it's that in idea I've had were the party members have 2 personas. One is their initial persona, that evolves later on in the story like in P3, during a plot moment that's linked to a moment where the character matures
Then the second persona is related to the party member's social link.
I wonder what could green mean. Green can be negative like envy, or positive like nature, environment.
Green Byleth
I wonder if the green is about Harmony and Fear?
Given how Persona likes to tackle real world topics and Persona 5 was inspired by a lot of recent societal issues at the time of its creation. I’m willing to bet it’s going to somehow involve the erosion of Japanese culture by foreign influence and in particular have at least one plot point discussing the flood of foreign content creators causing problems and just terrorizing the public. So Harmony and Fear would be a good connection to make there.
@@fist-of-doom487 Oh damn you might be right
@@fist-of-doom487 The color green also represents nature.
