Hope you guys enjoyed the first Porsche video!! 😃 Many more to come, and looking forward to testing a pure petrol version! Where do you think the Panamera sits in the market? Does it need to up its game to match the AMG GT 4 door or does it sit perfectly as an all-rounder? But what I’m most excited about, is the New 992... Coming soon on the channel! 😈
Whenever I get a notification of a new upload, pure joy. The quality of your work is insane, I always watch in the highest resolution possible. Keep up the excellent work. (Ferrari content one day?)
Actually the Sport Response mode is perfect for overtaking vehicles. In North America, to be able to drive comfortably over large expanses of highway and then be able to "Sport Respond" to pour on the power and overtake a pokey-Joe on a mountain pass or a straight prairie road is highly desirable! If I could afford one of these up here in Canada, I can't imagine not using it regularly. Also, I'm not sure if it applies in the case of the Panamera, but with some Porsches if you switch to Sport+ mode, it turns off the sport exhaust; it only activates in Sport mode.
The Porsche Panamera is an executive car and a sports car among luxury saloons. Two contrasting characteristics of the Panamera is of a genuine sports car and the comfort of a luxury saloon. Rethought, realigned Gran Turismo. The name PANAMERA is derived from the Carrera Panamericana race.
@@RemoveBeforeRace And those tweaks make your reviews more and more refined. Great knowledge cars, the research is spot on and the presentation (you and the videos themselves) are the best there is out there. Keep up the great work Raz
The first hybrid car was built in the year 1899 by engineer Ferdinand Porsche. Called the System Lohner-Porsche Mixte, it used a gasoline engine to supply power to an electric motor that drove the car's front wheels. The Mixte was well-received, and over 300 were produced.
It’s kinda crazy when you realise you only have nearly 80k subs. I mean you’re one of the best car reviewers on the platform. You’ll probably get to one mil subs pretty fast after passing 100k though. Seems like most good TH-camrs do that, with the help of the TH-cam algorithm.
@@RemoveBeforeRace I think too! Also because in terms of content this channel is significantly more informative and professional than many others with more subscribers. The current relatively low number of subscribers in my opinion is due to the 1) format and 2) length of videos. For example, Doug DeMuro's channel has a simpler concept, providing a systematic and quick overview of each aspect of the car in a "product-oriented" way (after all, let's not forget, automobile manufacturers look at us as buyers rather than people), and he adds little but systematic and personal touches: arms always open in each video preview, every video starts with "This...", the "dougscore", and so on. This recipe personally leads me to watch DeMuro's videos even when I am not that interested in a car. When I watch videos in this channel, on the other hand, videos are more informative, they go more in-depth, and I can feel there is more research behind. However, to watch them, I need to be especially interested in the car. As mentioned in the beginning, I also think videos should not last more than 20 or 25 minutes (this is more general). All that said, I hope this channel will indeed get more subscribers!
Your language in this video is superb, the video work is immense. I drive a 2.9 Tourismo Panamera Hybrid its a stunning car Well done on your professionalism
I don’t think many people realise this, but these are some of the most high quality in depth reviews out there. The way Raz presents the video is in a unique, stylish and humorous way making the videos far more interesting than some others out here. So I urge anyone to tell there friends about this channel because you won’t regret it. 🙌🏼
The set up is incredible. I truly enjoyed how you showed all the car switches to get the better idea of what you are talking about. Just incredible. Keep doing what you're doing man, and I see this channel growing to millions.
RBR! the details into which you go when you review cars is simply awesome! That combined with interesting graphics and the perfectly balanced commentary on history, driving dynamics & looks makes you one of the top car reviewers. Well done buddy, keep up the good work!
As a diehard 911 enthusiast i cant wait for your 992 review. Imo your reviews are some of the best out there, up with chris harris, describing brilliantly how it feels to drive cars ill probably never afford. You have a new subscriber
Awesome as always Raz. Happy to hear you will be reviewing more Porsches. Love your AMGs but I’m really a Pcar man at heart, am very excited to hear your take on the 992 especially since it’s the first 911 that I am considering buying for myself. As I always say you’re the best in the biz, there’s no car reviewer I look forward to hearing from as much as you. Thanks and looking forward to the next video.
Raz I'm really hoping you're going to get yourself a Porsche Panamera Hybrid, I know that would throw the AMG focus of your channel but I'm loving your Porsche content buddy, keep going!! More please ... I've LOVED all your Porsche reviews & history, brilliant!
Now that's what you call an in depth review. The intro with the history part is such a good idea, it puts the car into context. As soon as you said "mushy pedal feel" I thought it could be something to do with regenerative breaking, who knows. The sound is OK for a hybrid but not for a Turbo S as you mentioned. Looking forward to the 992 review.
Great production, excellent editing and well paced delivery! Well done...... oh, and you had me at...... Porsche! Love the company, the history and the ethos.

How do you do those fantastic "tricks" with your video images? When the hood popped up I was blown away. Awesome review. Just subscribed. You are a pro. You're clear, passionate, and informative.
Great review. I had a 2017 Panamera 4S V8 Diesel - a rare car as the plug was pulled on these after 12 months so there aren't many on the market, its the same power plant as the SQ7 minus the electric supercharger. As an all rounder it was a very hard car to fault and a major improvement over the first generation car. A car that weighs north of 2 tonnes shouldn't handle and accelerate so well but it did - the comfort levels were incredible as well and the running costs (a solid 36-38mpg) and servicing / tyres were very respectable for a Porsche. Downsides was the huge build up of finger prints on that lovely touch screen and centre console, and it really is like parking the Titanic. Unfortunately I soon realised that it was a little soul-less. I was hoping having the V8 diesel it would deliver both excitement and the economy but it was just a tad stale to own. I traded it in for a 2017 E63s just before Xmas, and while I don't regret the change, I don't regret owning the Porsche either. Also worth considering that almost everything on a Porsche is an optional extra - they are very tight from the factory. Would consider the Turbo S Sport Turismo when I'm finished with the E63 for sure.
Say what you may with VW, I too have a love/hate relationship with them, however VW has the most impressive line of vehicles under its umbrella of any car company. I would say Porsche is the jewel. Each Porsche model is an overachiever compared to its competitors.
I like your use of the word 'harbinger'. Hopefully more along the same lines to come, but bigger numbers all round including EV range. Yes I know many will hate me for even mentioning the EV.
Great review Raz as always. You don’t disappoint. Mixed feelings about Ron though. Im resisting typing the full mouthful descriptive you managed so well.l, but I love practical wagon type format vehicles, so guess I need to try and drive one?! I’m thinking that the full petrol V8 Turbo only would be a real drivers car?
Love the excellent ,effects on comparison to other cars. Brilliant review bruv. You should be right up there with your videography and I. Depth review s👍👍
Your content is incredible. Echoing other folks, you deserve many more subs. What are your thoughts on doing a review on the e60 M5. Kinda like a look back in time to see how things have changed and the driver experience we got back then.
Good review. The Sport Turismo makes the Panamera something you wouldn't mind seeing in the driveway every morning. The 2nd gen was better than the first by far but in non ST trim its still somewhat homely looking. Which is a shame because the performance is there.
As great as this car is, I hope AMG don't make the same mistakes. Hopefully they'll be able to keep the weight down with carbon fiber, make it sound great and give the driver the best experience with 800+ hp.
Excellent production values and general information, your right up With Harry Metcalfe Mr JWW and the excellent Car Guys, nice to see something whilst generic has quirks and genuine like ability something that is often overlooked by newcomers to the burgeoning TH-cam sector....

Nice! I will shoe horn this in one day
The first AWD car was a hybrid, the Lohner-Porsche with 4 electric motors. It was so fast, they forbade it to enter races.
eh. hybrid drivetrain not hybrid fuel i guess
