Been on this channel for a long while now. It doesn't make sense to me why it hasn't got 5M subscribers. Info is honest and on point. Editing is top notch and he always has the best cars to show us. Love the content. Promotion, promotion promotion.
I've always said, if you only have space for 1 car that is a sedan/has room/is sporty, go for the Panamera. If you can afford two, just get a real 2-door sports car/weekend car and whatever utility/daily without all the compromise.
I love your videos! Especially the way you can super-impose the various models and model years on an existing vehicle. Its become your trademark - I note you're doing it for the interiors too, now. Thank you so much.
The Best Porsche Panamera review ever!!!! To all automotive journalist out there, watch and learn!!!!! Design, Technology, deep dive, comparison and some ride & handling! Keep up your great work and don't compromise, this is the standard!!!
I will add on to the list of compliments, the interior VFX are fantastic. It's one thing when a reviewer mentions the changes but we can't always remember or be bothered to look for the photos on google from the previous gen cars, so showing those old interiors is brilliant.
Great Overview - no one does it better...Love how ou show previous Gens to see how it has developed / blossomed!! Loving that Dark Gold colour...... Turbo E-Hybrid it is for Me!
Thanks for the review. One thing we consider when driving is managing the weight transfer and where the grip is. For example, trail braking can help point the nose of the car into a corner and provide more grip to the front wheels. Does the active ride make any changes to that?
I will say that the looks -- for me personally -- on G3 are a little polarizing. I say that now but hopefully the looks start to grow on me if I ever do see it in person. G2 honestly still has my heart in terms of overall looks and dimensions. The rear end just looks so proportioned and more handsome than the new model but, maybe I need to give it a chance.
Competitor for the next V8 hybrid BMW M5. No non-hybrid V8, 200kg more than a Taycan, no Sport Turismo, and you can’t get Active Ride on non-hybrid V6. With the extra range of the new Taycan, the argument is swinging more to the Taycan. Depreciation whilst slighter better on the Panamera, will still be pretty hefty.
@@withmatt1062 Have you driven one? It drives phonomenally good for it's size. Heck, it is the best handling Porsche outside their sports cars. The Taycan is really the complete package if it wasn't for the lack of range, which supposedly has been improved on the facelift.
The Design Review you do with switching between different generations is fantastic! And I agree, the gen 3 panamera is by far the most beautiful and the only one which looks actually good. Thanks from Germany!
You probably don’t have one. If you had you would think you are driving in a Skoda or cheap Toyota courtesy of an unacceptable cheapo plastic interior…….A real shambles….
As a Gen2 owner I'm not quiet convinced. Certainly not enough to run to my dealer and be screwed by the options list. My Gen 2 with the sports design pack looks so much better than the standard Gen 2 but on the Gen 3 the standard looks better than the sport design pack. The interior on the Gen 2 is a gentleman's club. Gen 3 is Taycan parts bin and the dash mounted lady shave gear changer is the thing i absolutely loath on my 992GTS. The usable range on my ehybrid has always been a joke. When i first had a demo i was shocked at how low the winter range was. With the increase in electric prices its now cheaper to run my car in petrol mode. I only ever charge the car at work as its free. Maybe it will grow on me who knows.
Watching this yet again. Have a 2023 RWD. Hoping to trade up to a CPO 2024 or 2025 Panamera 4 in the future. Great information here. The detailed style comparison and the tech review are much appreciated. One of the better Panamera videos I've watched. Thanks for your work.
thanks for the review Raz, got a question about the suspension. I didn't quiet understand if the optional suspension only benefits driving dynamics and body control, or if its also more comfortable than the standard air suspension. Im thinking about a 4s hybrid and im more interested in the comfort aspect, dealing with bumps and shocks from the street, would i be better off with the standard suspension?
Man , u r amazing with you videos, as a car fan , your channel is the best when it comes to video editing and producing, even the info delivery, thanks
With the new Active ride suspension , definitely they can bring it to India easily. First time that i have seen Porsche taking such concentration on just the suspension and chassis. Superb road grip and unbelievable refinement.
I’m an owner of first generation Porsche Panamera that actually looks like a Porsche, with the elevated fenders and lower hood, this new Panamera doesn’t look like a Porsche anymore, it looks like a station wagon,,, wouldn’t trade mine for the new…. 😂
I have a gen 1 GTS and get nothing but positive comments about it's looks - I think you are jumping on the old bandwagon on the looks. I presume you hate the 996 too - looking better and better with age!
Finally it has a sharp and pronounced lines which gives the car a character a predecesor was lacking. Now I would probably prefer this Turbo version over RS7. Yet I would have to see them both because there is a slight impression this front is not entirely compatible with the side line. Gotta see that real time.
1st time here, and i must say, you certainly bring some "unique" to the party! Already set my notifications! Now how about a "watch check" ??? The two worlds seem to go hand in hand...
I pre-ordered the Volcano Grey. Having second thoughts, as it looks almost black. The problem though is there is a lack of good colors in the G3 Panamera in my opinion, so I'm torn between Aventurine Green and the Volcano Grey as most other colors are too neon like/ too bright.
I've had 2 aventurine 992 and a volcano grey Pana Turbo S. Colour is perfect for the Panamera. It's elegant, it's not(!) too dark, in the light it's a kind of stony grey. Much better than just black. I had the cohiba club leather (also for the 992). Unfortunately Porsche deleted the cohiba club leather for barrique red leather. That's why I sold the Panamera and got a Continental GT (magnetic over saddle). It's like a more luxurious Panamera with some more weight. 😅
You won't regret your Volcano Grey order. I have a Gen 2 in Volcano Grey and like the other gentleman said its a great colour on the Panamera. Its very much a camelion colour. In low light almost black. In half light it has brown hues and In bright light more grey. I love Aventurine green on the 992, although mines Ice Grey, but not on the Panamera.
Thanks for the feedback guys. It is a beautiful color, I just did not anticipate it being this dark. In any case car is in production so I can't change to Ave green anyways. Regardless, it is my 2nd best color choice after the aventurine green so I'm happy with that!
It’s funny, no one bats an eyelid when Mercedes, Bentley or Rolls Royce price their luxury vehicles at around €350k/$350k up to and over €500k/$500 but when Porsche price their flagship vehicle at €250k\$250k some have called it ‘overpriced’. Also mentioning the cost for the active ride option being expensive. Porsche has always been performance first then luxury, so for this car to offer the best combination of both, €250k/$250k inc. all options is a relative bargain when compared to those other manufacturer’s flagship models. Paying for the pinnacle of engineering excellence that delivers outstanding performance, high end technology along with premium luxury all in one package is well worth it, in my opinion, and is practically unmatched by any other all-in-one sedan solution. Hats off to Porsche, again. Bravo 👏
I wish they made 2 passenger cars for big people. I’m 6’4, 315 muscle 💪🏾. I tried to buy a corvette c8 but I couldn’t fit haha. Hopefully they have some very cool color choices when they put out more Panamera turbos.

I agree. Lot's of informative graphics too. It really helps to have a visual representation of the changes he talks about.
The general public prefers either the more scientific engineering explained or more entertaining top gear channels
One factor for this is because he only does reviews for new premium cars, which the common man cannot afford and the target audience becomes smaller
Look at Mat Watson, Doug Demuro etc..They review normal cars as well even the cheapest, also charisma helps
Appreciate the kind words! We try 😃

My great grandpappi used to say the same thing
Defender for off roading. Panamera for family trips. Tesla model 3 Performance because why not

I actually think the old Panamera is aging quite well, especially with that V8
That Dragon Ball entrance 🤌
The video editing while covering the interior 👌
Another great review, I'm so glad Porsche saved the V8 Panamera 👍

It's not just you, Raz.
The Sport pack looks less aggressive than the "standard" turbo.
And again, a great review as always!
I have G1 Panamera and I don’t care what anyone says, it looks amazing and certainly stands out more than the second generation.
Hopefully Porsche will make a Turbo S (and Turbo S E-Hybrid) version. That V8 is capable of more power for sure.
This is the most comprehensive and well presented of all the new Panamera reviews, I've seen them all! Top work.
I had a Panamera 4 hybrid as a loaner from Porsche Reading the other day......what a car , i was well impressed!

The exhausts sounds nice and muscular, Porache have done a great job on this EU model.
Love how that rear spoiler deploys in a split way so cool
Absolutely 💯
Every time you flashed back to gen 1 I liked it😅
I didn't know a car video that is so informative could be so much fun to drive...I mean...watch!!
That body colour reminds me of when the 350 Z came out and burnt orange
the first generation look classic Porsche to me not ugly.
This one looks like a Kia Stinger
I think all the Panameras are really ugly, gen 2 did look a little bit better but still not good. The Audi RS7 and BMW M8 Gran Coupe look much better
but the Stinger is👌
5:50 That low front view looks like a stretched out R35 GT-R, especially in this color
Boxy JDM vibes

It would be nice for you to also talk about repair costs when the suspension fails and other historical trouble spots for the panamera.
can we customized the turbo e hybrid version?
Video production on another level. Appreciate the full dedication and reviews, cheers!
Unbelievable car!!!! Porsche nails it again!

Well done sir! Absolutely loved your very thorough analysis. Keep up the good work.
I had 3 Panamera’s and 2 Taycan’s. I think I am going back to Panamera.
Nice, Richie Rich 😅
I’m trying to decide between the Cayenne SUV or the Panamera. What would you suggest?
I like every panamera throughout the years that porsche has build but this new design is home run great job porsche

Totally agree! He doesn't know anything about the Gen 1. Why it was "famous" on that time. I think the Gen 1 looks great today as well.
The transformation from Gen1 to Gen3 is amazing. This is the only version that I like out of them all .
That suspension is a game changer. 😮
The suspension is out of this world.
Your editing, as ever, is way heavier! I love it man.
That Green with the gold rims beautiful
The video editing/imagery is simply on another level.
What level?

You are one if not the best car review channel ❤ i love how you do it bro its very refreshing to look 🍻
I think I prefer the looks of the 2nd gen tbh. 3rd is still cool though.
Agreed - the standard trim looks far better!
Any Reason why you didn't Rev it up to the max?
As always….an informative review, wish you had included the standard base V6 test drive as well!
I like how you compared with previous generations so well.
Did we see the boot space? Skipped a bit.
Really debating between getting the Panamera 4S or the new E class 53 AMG
base rwd with simple tune and around 450bhp (500kg lighter than turbo!) is the sweet spot for me
Is this the same V6 hybrid that will be in the new RS4/5?
How does the gen 1 look like a suv from the rear ?
10 out of 10 on the production and presentation of this video 👏
Honesly my favorite feature are the center lock wheels and the new design
Powerwise it would be interesting to see the comparison with the new AMG E 53 ePerformance.
Does the new Panamera come with bench seats in the rear?
It's an option

It may very well be irrelevant, but what is the fuel consumption and range like?
A brilliant review of a reborn Panamera. Thanks for all of your hard work and for sharing…. 👍
What an excellent review! Love this new Panamera. Dream car!
Great information! This is my dream car for sure.
Dragon ball intro, instant transmission
Rip toriyama 🙏🏽
I could never make up my mind between the panamera and the amg gt 63 . but after this video....i finally know. THE PORSCHE !!
Great video, as always 👍🏼
That just might be the perfect car
It’s literally a jack of all trades and a master of all.
Excellent review. I never got why the Top Gear guys in particular were so down on this excellent Grand Tourer.
Postao mi je najbolji kanal.bravo
I think the wagon would have looked really good with this design and performance
True. I think it was a mistake to kill the wagon. I’d have bought one in this new generation.
for a v6 sound from porsche with this sounds pretty decent exhaust.
Is the front end made of plastic or carbon fiber? Definitely a lot of money for a plastic front grill.
That into song the beat is 🔥🔥🔥
not screwing up good designs but making small changes is the safest and imo best way to go. Don't need to reinvent the wheel.. cough bmw
Editing on this is unreal. How am I only seeing this channel for the first time.

A panamera turbo s without the hybrid would be awesome, it would be a lot lighter which would help if the go for a nürnburgring lap time

gen 1 panomera is gorgeous
Fantastic, now I can finally afford the G2
I have been waiting on this forever 🤣 thanks for the review man
