@@vilxxblack2472 I think it might have always been the case, i learned it from a pre-patch youtube video. its easy to test though, just head to the meat grinder and use any gun, even an auto pistol will mess it up while your screen is orange (like 3 seconds maybe)
Strong life suggest going into the meat grinder and seeing what a full clip of whatever gun you're using does after using your ability. That way you'll know exactly how much ammo you need before you get halfway through your rounds and realize you need to reload

To do this optimally, stack some burn on them for a few seconds first and then hit the Go button. You can solo any armored target in range (on Malice, at least)
Haven't tested it in darktide but in vermintide you'd be able to avoid certain boss attacks by being all the way in a corner. The bosses attacks would get stuck on the walls. I'm guessing that's what happened here. That or the boss was on his teammate and not him
I think part of it was the friendly Ogryn. He staggered everybody in the corner with some explosion causing all the trash mobs to move. It might have pushed the Plague Ogryn, or block him from moving forward.
I hate this system, but if they are going to use it, at least add like three times the amount of freaking weapons ffs As a psyker I often get not even a single staff in the vendor pool at max level.
I was watching this and saw a horde, 2 maulers, 3 crushers, and a damn plague ogryn and my immediate though was...yeah its over. He then proceeds to flamers everything in sight and deal huge damage with the hammer and I am sitting here stunned, wtf did you feed that hammer to do that much damage on hit good god.
@@peepeeman4740 I play darktide a fair bit but haven’t settled into a main yet, I am getting everyone to level ten and then taking them to end game one at a time, but zealot has been a sweet play style so far. Everyone has super fun features. Zealots hack and slash tank, the nuking and even tank potential a psyker can have (also no ammo if you rock staff) The interesting ogryn guns, and of course the veteran with bolter/lasgun/plasma rifles. I haven’t been bored for a moment.
yeah it isn't even a bad weapon. sure it's not as meta as others but it can hold its own. A psyker surge staff to create easy headshot openings for crushers and brawlers is pretty fun. Good teamplay, good results

i just learned today that using your zealot ult makes your ranged weapons ignore armor, even the flamer, so you can melt crushers too.
