Huge adrenaline surges like a Coke bottle that's been shaken up...this spiritual bubble rising up on the inside....EXTREMELY miserable and uncomfortable feeling. . . for absolutely no logic reason. Absolutely hate it...😖🤦🏼♂️
I did too but when I realized hating it, fearing it, wrestling with it, frightening with it….was intensifying the surge and keeping my nervous system hypersensitized. Then I learned acceptance. New concept but the sooner you learn it , the quicker your progress. I’m back to living 🤸! You will be too. Listen and learn.
All of these experiences are maybe uncomfortable but NOT DANGEROUS. It's very hard to seperate that feeling of danger. We have to excercise our minds, just like one would excercise a muscle so that it can become stronger, to make our understanding stronger.
Acceptance is allot more difficult than I ever imagined...I wane between obsession and hypervigilance and trying to accept but as fear that if I dont....panic attack happen, it so much more difficult to do....I know it intellectually but doing it the hard part.
Should i buy the book or the workbook? I already know way too much about anxiety and panicattacks. I dont know whats in ghe dare book tho. A workbook would be nice. I want the workbook but am i not missing a lot of information than?
Great line……”you don’t have an off and On switch
But you do have a tune in or tune out switch
dare has been life-changing for me! i went from not being able to get on a plane to flying for work in small planes multiple times a week!
Thanks I'm so grateful for DARE. I learn so much about how anxiety works.
I can't even tell you how much I love these podcasts and these two ladies.
Excellent podcast. All the examples are spot on and relative. Always feel supported and understood.

Sooo helpful, thank you ❤
I won’t drive because I have crazy thoughts of driving off the bridge or crashing on purpose. How do I deal with that?
