There’s still so much going on and the auction and the TH-cam videos are just the cherry on top for me.
I feel lucky to even get my car from them. Took them 2 years to get my car, They said it would only take 5 months. Now I'm stuck with a car I overpaid for.
I guess the question is, if a JDM importer of over 20 years goes out of business and screws people, how are is the consumer supposed to find a good company to work with? Because you'd think a shop that's been in business that long would be safe to work with...
He is not wrong. Display cases are not cheap. My dad sold sports cards and memorabilia for about 30 years and he had 6 cases when he retired and he got around 10 grand for them. He also had a rotater if anyone remembers those. You pushed a button and it had cards on shelfs that would spin. Its a dying industry even building those displays. Everyone would rather buy cheap stuff online instead. I think he got a pretty good deal.
All the good JDM cars are now pushing 25-30 years old. I suspect the interest in this kind of thing has waned as well. The newer generations don't seem particularly car centric. In the US, even Autozone is struggling which suggests to me that people working on their own cars is becoming rarer as well. The whole hobby has changed. I suspect for the worse.
Bought my 93 fd3s from them after 2 years waiting and a whole lot of bullshit. I promised them I would never recommend anyone to them. I told them I was surprised they were in business with the way they conduct themselves. I guess I'm not surprised

It’s clear now that not only were customers being lied to and scammed but so were us employees. Between Jeff and Mike I could make a good guess that there were hands in the pot that shouldn’t have been. Just a hunch. Good riddance after offering guaranteed pay (in lieu). So like he wanted me to work over time to make full time hours. Was the broken foot a sympathy thing or did someone do that to you Michael? What about employees whose record of employment he erased?! There’s still so much going on and the auction and the TH-cam videos are just the cherry on top for me.
Auctions are fun and this video was fun to see, thanks!
great vid boys.
Wow the ending was awesome when he drifted the red car 🚗
That Cosmo is so awesome!
Speed Academy on the TV was a mint Easter egg!
Cosmos are the coolest shit out there. I love them
Holy crud I think I remember Dylan from highschool haha
Trudeau
he's a kawkcuker, was he a pos in highschool too?
Wow wow what a mess!! No wonder they went out of business seems they were definitely in financial trouble with those prices
I think he got a pretty good deal.
thieves in socal dont seem to think so. they smash and grab those display cases like they are $25 dollars. its a damn shame.
The 70s 2dr Corona looks mint.
I suspect for the worse.
that red car is talking. it's saying "WHOP WHOP WHOOOOP"
So RHD cars' market in North America, isn't as hyped up as importers had hoped for..........
Bought my 93 fd3s from them after 2 years waiting and a whole lot of bullshit. I promised them I would never recommend anyone to them. I told them I was surprised they were in business with the way they conduct themselves. I guess I'm not surprised
I once ordered JDM to North American license plate adapters from them for about $40 CAD. They never shipped or responded to any inquiries about where they were. Can't imagine losing a deposit my god.
We also bought a bunch of "contents" from all the shop Bay shelves. We got a couple hundred of those adapters in one of the drawers!
Love how they were riping on that “new supra”owner 50k is nuts lol
2:11 support who?
I put some bids in too...but the tax plus the 16% "hammer fee" was just too much, so I backed off.
Good, they used to gouge me on parts for my R32
Who knew selling overpriced niche cars was a bad business model 😂
They became fairly sleezy once they moved and expanded. 10 years we bought some cars from them and fak. Compared to out here in bc absolutely dumb money for vehicles way higher then market value.
They were probably always a bit sketchy but maybe got worse once expanded / moved to Pickering.
JDM cars are overpriced big time. 10,000 for a JDM EG civic is insane. I gave up hope of getting a skyline now.
Good luck finding an all stock eg6 that's not rusted the price reflects availability
NEW SHOP NAME, then business as usual it sounds like
My buddy lost 30k to these guys. Big lawsuit bubbling up.
Eunos is pronounced “you-nos” Dave. Not “ini-yos”
NV should hit up Daniel Tosh or Lucky Costa on the sambar stuff
Didnt even know they were still a thing
damn, was going to buy my Crown through them until i went with someone else. Then i heard they went bankrupt. tried bidding on a few things including the Cosmo lool. I at least won the shelving.
What a beautiful cosmo
I bought my Supra from them in March of this year..
Work out after? If so, you were lucky out of the few.
@ I love my car. It wasn’t sorted as discussed but I got it home. I should have known there were issues but I honestly thought Michael just didn’t care about me or my car.
Dang it looks like I'm late to this. I assume everything is sold by now?
This is far from the first JDM importer in Canada.
I would of paid mid 20’s for that RE A FD.
Interesting video
I thought it was Eunos, not Eneos..? I love your videos :) it’s too bad the prices were so high, I would’ve loved to see you guys pick some cool stuff up!
Sad as they were a reputable places to get parts.
I also got some parts there several times and enjoyed looking at their vehicle inventory. We imported our cars through B-Pro, the prices at Right Drive always seemed high by comparison.
Crooks ripped me off
Me too, and I worked there!
50k for a non turbo Supra!!! Hahaha.. wow… someone got ripped!
JDM scalper bite the dust.
I liked cosmos before they were cool. Lol
That is a pretty car.
