It’s so weird but also fulfilling to see Linus out of his element in something I do know a lot about. The part with him being flabbergasted that the engine was in Washington and they are just carrying on was great, because that’s the way most car projects go lol.

I feel this deeply.. I've done so much tweaking and random little things on my cars just looking for things to mess with while waiting for some main part to arrive. 🤣

Relative compression tests, injector ramp up and pulse width, heck, even checking amp draw on things like fuel pumps *cough Chevy* to diagnose intermittent problems. And that’s just the dumb stuff I used to use, not even touching CAN bus problems or the fact that a lot of electrical part replacements require re-flashing the relevant control module. Only till you can't find it after doing a repair and thus can't drive your car anymore xD
Since it appears to be slightly adapted it can't even be easily replaced lol

Linus, I broke my back literally and been trying to figure out life after losing my career and my main hobby, cars. Watching my future and my past collide gave me chills. Love the channel 🤙 I hope to be a Tech one day.

You really need to do more content like this on the side. This is fantastic! Two of my favorite worlds meeting: cars and tech!

I own an 09 Civic. It's been in my family since 2010, it was my younger sister's first car. I bought it in 2020, and had it repainted, also replaced the suspension. It's still stock, 235k on the motor and transmission, still running well. Last year, my partner drove it to work, and fell asleep at the wheel on the way home. She swiped a guard rail, which gouged the passenger side from front to back. I was glad that she was fine, but heartbroken about the car. I knew that repair would cost more than the value of the car. I promised my sister that I would treasure that old car, and I did. I decided that it was worth it to me to have it repaired. 3k later and it looks like nothing happened. I would love to have a K series motor put into my Civic, hopefully something that will happen in the future. What a great video! Please do more like it!
