Do I have the option to do the tax deposits myself?

Because we use desktop qb but no payroll service subscription yet

That's correct. In order to proceed with the direct deposit set up and start paying employees, you will indeed need to have an active QuickBooks Desktop Payroll subscription.

You should make an updated video. This isnt very helpful to me since the software layout is very different than what I see in my QuickBooks online account.

What if the bank charges the employee a fee? How do we see that in QB
Hi Tiffany. That's a great question. Depending on what type of QuickBooks Payroll you decide to use, you may have a per-employee fee along with your regular payroll subscription costs. You would see those charges in the Vendor Center under Intuit or QuickBooks Payroll. However, you won't see any charges from your employee's bank accounts in your QuickBooks. This is because you authorized Intuit QuickBooks to deposit into an account, so QuickBooks and your bank handle those charges, not the employee's bank. I hope this helps clarify. -Karey

They don't show you that it cost $1.75 per transaction. Everyone is crooked today. Sad.
For the past 6 months, I have seen from every angle hidden fees and scams. Insane, how many on a daily basis .. pay attention in stores now at self checkout. There is always some unknown item added on the receipt. By the time you get home and realize $3.25 was an unknown change, or the item you didn't purchase at the time of checkout...You tired don't want to go back to the store for that hassle. At the same time, they could say you did buy it... I have never seen like this year the number of scams and crooks from stores and businesses.
