In this video I'll show you how to use QuickBooks Online in 12 minutes. QuickBooks Online is a popular cloud accounting software made by Intuit. There are four subscription levels depending on your requirements:

How to use it for 2 different business?
@@jamesbaker1312 You have to subscribe to two different QBO accounts to use it for two businesses. Unlike Desktop, you need a separate paid subscription for each company.
Funny, when I was in college, my accounting professor told me, "You don't need to remember any of this shit, they have accounting software for that." Well, he was correct.
But you will need accounting knowledge to post correct journal entries.
Your teacher was lazy. He should stop teaching and start some other business. 🙄🙏

After using QB desktop software for 25 years I am switching to the online version at the end of March 2024 👍 I need to be able to send and print estimates and invoices including keeping up to date on my financials and using the phone app to scan receipts is a huge plus. If u r ok working independently diligently & are willing to put in +40 qty & YearEnd, then accounting is for you lol. Til this day, my bf doesn’t comprehend my schedules as an Accountant. Make sure ur companion understands ur job comes 1st bc as an Accountant we r trem busy 1st week & last week of the month. Then YearEnd is our busiest time. I can’t see myself doing anything else. Actg is in my blood bc numbers don’t lie. People do numbers don’t

I'm definitely going back to school. But damn, there are nights where I go home late. I'm single now which helps. I still enjoy accounting. But time is so precious. I would like to be my own boss one day. But I want to know how organizations operate first. And of course get my 4 year degree.

Great Tutorial! Trying to be serious and get myself familiar to make myself ready for a new job, but I laughed a bit when I heard you say orANge, never in my life had I heard it said that way lol

The reason you need videos like this (thank you for that, by the way), is because the software itself has no technical support what so ever, and on top of all, basic functions like search don't even work... You call them, and a very pleasant lady tells after 3 hours or so, she will have to pass it to technical people (which apparently she is not), then why am i talking to her? Because there is no technical people, they just don't call you back. Cash grab software that one day will work well because you paid them 3 years for no reason. If you have any other option (like CRM which often does the same) move away from this commitment... You will be stuck there forever with infinite price bumps. (and they say you can export, but wait until you go through the cost of that 3rd party software!!!)

I started my small business and i need a accounting software to record my finances but I am not an accountant expert. In QBO Essentials, there is no ''Other'' menu on top right. It's called Tools and there is no Journal access from there (Business View and Accountant View).
