More than 30 years ago, it was the aim of the Alumni Association and the La Salle administration to have 20% of its students as deserving scholars. I do not know if that has been attained. If you think you qualify, you are most welcome to apply. There are also many athlete students who are recruited who are scholars.
@@arembotate4100 The scholars are determined by your results in the entrance exams or your standing in your whole batch in the school(?) (Top 5%) And Athletes are also scholars...
Yes, high school grades and results of your entrance exam. Not necessarily top 5% in entrance exam. As long as you are an honor student, good entrance exam result and you qualify to the course you are applying. I know because my brother got scholarship. He was not top 5% but he was an honor student in high school. It also helped that they asked for the Income tax return of my parents. So my brother got scholarship tuition and fees.
I noticed how vibrant and fun La Salle Taft is compared to Ateneo campus which is a little bit quiet and kind of that monastery vibe inside. Both are indeed elite school though. But La Salle offers more scholarships among poor and less fortunate ones.

Fun fact: My art teacher while I was studying in DLSU told us that the Henry Sy Library building's architecture was inspired by trees where people can find shade and lay down under it, hence the pillars. For few years since it was built, students can actually lay down by the pillars, just like being under a tree but recently the rules have changed and they put benches around the pillars.

Glad you enjoyed it, Jolo!! 😁
This Vlogger is changing the game. Very informative. i am a filipino but i didnt know some of the facts you covered in the videos about our universities
I’ve been waiting for this video ever since you vlogged at UST! I told my brother that you went to my school so I really wanted to see you feature his school DLSU. Love all four campus tours-my day is complete! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Oh, and uh..nice shirt 😄
Good thing you were able to tour around without having checked by the security coz they used to be strict to visitors! Cool! Animo La Salle!
fave university.. napakalinis at organized....maaliwalas sa mata..
Wow! Most of my relatives, including my husband and son graduated from DLSU, but, I am just hearing some interesting historic information from you. Love it!
Best private University in the Philippines 2019 and also competitive in sports. Overall best university 💚
ANIMO! Visit also San Sebastian College and help in the restoration of the Iron Basilica. Steel was supplied by Gustav Eiffel and needed to be restored. Also, visit another rival schools UE& FEU, Letran and San Sebastian.
man I really hope your still in the philippines when I land on march 31! been watching your vlog for the last 2 weeks and im love it man! you got so much energy 😂
itsKEVO Well hello there! You are finally coming to the Philippines. Would be nice to see you and Kell in a vlog. Woooottt, spread the word! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💚
Wow... Just wow 😊
Hello KEVo!.nice to see you here in Kells vlog.
You should go give the other Lasallian schools in the Metro and the provinces (somewhat) close to Manila a visit. De La Salle-College of St. Benilde, De La Salle Santiago Zobel, De La Salle Araneta University, La Salle Greenhills. In Batangas, De La Salle Lipa. In Cavite, De La Salle University-Dasmariñas and De La Salle Medical Health and Sciences Institute.
You will see the contrast and each school's (at least the ones that do have college) flagship courses' influence throughout their respective campuses.
That jaunty green shirt tho, wow❗️☘️🇵🇭🔥 You struck a pose in front of iconic building, impressive vlog, great content!💚
Private universities are always a plus when it comes to preserving the history and culture of the school. Glad you showed the beautiful campus chapel, always wanted to see it. Another great campus tour!! Keep them coming Kell! 👍😘🙏
Try to also go to De La Salle College of St. Benilde in front of this campus
I like it that you actually researched about the school😊 and know the history and stuff. I like this video so much😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you, Jasmin! 😁
Brings back a lot of memories. Thank you for taking me back to my alma mater. Animo!
oh my God this university it's truly beautiful
Now I think you need to go watch an Ateneo vs. La Salle match in the UAAP Women’s Volleyball league, which is currently on going this month up-to next month. An ADMU vs. DLSU match is always jam packed so expect an epic game and crowd. Or go watch the “Battle of Katipunan” volleyball game this weekend which is University of the Philippines vs. Ateneo de Manila. I hope you can! Or just wait till the finals, that’s fine too, coz right now, it’s just the second round of elimination!!!
Wow! Thanks for this bro,, so many memories came back to me, whew! 😭 ,, animo!
You should visit De La Salle University- Dasmariñas in Cavite. That’s one of, if not the greenest university in the Philippines . Animo!
The library (6th) is in the nxt flr after the auditorium (5th) which goes all the way to the 14th flr.
U werent able to go sadly..But dis tour is great!
Welcome to DLSU, Kell! Great research work you have there. Animo La Salle! 💚🏹✊
UST has Starbucks inside its campus you just forgot it along with Sbarro, Tokyo Tokyo, and Bon Chon
Wow!!! Travelling along the stretch of Taft is like dejavu. My Alma matter is in front of La Salle too.. St Scholastica's College. Thanks for this video it reminds me so much of my long lost "Conio" friends in La Salle and the gigs too :) Go Go Green Archers!!!!!
Thank you for all these awesome campus tour. I'm really curious about it. Btw try visiting my alma mater Adamson University.
W0w... you covered the top 4 university and you keep smiling...
That "ANIMO LA SALLE" in the end just gave me chills! I think it would be awesome if one of the giant tv networks in our country could get you as a Travel Show host. You're so good at what you do! We love you!
Please visit my school Adamson University. The only university that has a bridge inside the campus. The biggest chemistry laboratory in Asia and probably the longest walkway as well.
Adamson's buildings have rich history. It is just near DLSU :)
You should have went to the library at the 6th floor of the Henry Sy Sr. Hall!
ANIMO LASALLE!
Thank you for taking me on a tour in my Alma Mater! I graduated before the Yuchengco Hall and the Sports Complex were built. :)
Animo LASALLE !!!! I am lasallian from Indonesia 😎
Animo! to De La Salle University Manado, Indonesia
My DREAM SCHOOL and also LA SALLE ST. BENILDE!💗😍 Which is an extension of DLSU and just in front of it
a really nice university tour
You should've waited until the sun sets. The Henry Sy building the floor where there is a bridge to another building and there are no windows, you should've waited a little longer and you will witness Manila Bay's wonderful sunset. The sun slowly drowns itself in a sea of beauty and mystery. You will also realize how time flies so fast. It is a wonderful spectacle to see.
top 5 watching, i was hoping DLSU Dasma. Animo!!!!
