Don’t go for the name of the school. Rather go for their course offering in which they excell. Architecture and Medicine is best in UST. If u want to be in the broadcast or media (or liberal arts courses) go for UP. If u want business related and advertising, go for La Salle. If u want a mixed of DLSU and UP, go to Ateneo. If u want engg, go for Mapua. For dentistry, go for UE. FEU for medical related courses. But if ur considering ur family’s financial capabilities, then UP is the best option (or PLM).

I almost got kicked out from this school. Good thing we had an immortal status, don't know if they still use that today though. So basically what immortal status meant was if you completed a certain amount of units, the school can't kick you out anymore even if you fail a bunch of times.
Second Choice ko po ito, Mapuá po yung first. Civil Engineering po kase itatake ko, even though I know na 'home of engineers and archis' ang Mapua I still wanna know if maganda po ba CE dito?
There's someone who's willing to give me a scholarship at De La Salle University. We're not poor, but we're also not rich. I'm afraid that I can't easily cope up with the students there knowing that most of them came from a rich family. Please give me some advice to push myself to study there. Kahit saang university you will experience challenges and have to learn to adjust. True, maraming Inglisero pero hindi lahat Inglisero. You will be surprised that even if they are from well-off background, marunong silang makisama.I thought ang mga classmates ko back then were hatid-sundo, but they do ride the LRT, jeep, and other public transportation. Yung convenience siguro when you go to DLSU, all classrooms have AC. Aminin niyo mainit sa Pinas. So this is a plus. The facilities are good (library, conference rooms, sports complex etc). Enrollment process is easier compared to what I’ve heard from other universities. It is trimestral so ang downside, short vacation. DLSU believes in balance of everything (most universities naman), so maraming orgs na pwede salihan. When I was studying there, there was a university break every Wednesday meaning from 12:30pm to 2:30pm, dapat walang class going on. Dun maraming events like bazaar, pep rallies, mini concerts, intercollege sports competitions etc. now yata every Friday na. So don’t think about you may not fit in. 20 or 25% of the populationare scholars. So wag isipin na rich kids lahat. Far from reality pero totoo na merong rich talaga. 😊 To add pala, walang uniform pero may dress code. During my time there bawal ang super igsing shorts and no slippers. DLSU allows students to express individuality pero dapat you still uphold a certain decorum. A plain shirt with jeans or shorts will do. Wag lang pajamas. 😆
Buti pa dito pede mag suot basta comfortable. Sa DLSUD, Nka palda ka lang na wla pa sa above the knee, huhulihin na kaagad ng swafo. Bawal ang short sa lalaki sa DLSUD. Sobrang higpit :(
Yujg feeling na gusto mong pumasok diyan kaso mamsh wala nga tayong pambiling jollibee man lang (call me poor or what) tuition pa kaya dun hahaha. Mama be like: Hindi tayo nag tatae ng pera Inday wag kang ambisyosa !! K bye.
Maraming elevator sa dlsu, sa henry sy, sa brother Andrew, sa sports complex, sa yuchengco, sa LS. I remember being thr 1st batch to use the Br Andrew hall, they haven't figured out how control elevator traffic back then, we were climbing the stairs up to the 14th floor for class.
rash ismael same lang namn, for me yung way of teaching their students to become successful in their chosen careers dun lang sila nagakkaiba. Sa admu kasi di ba medyo religious sila dahil mga jesuits ang founder ng schools nila sa dlsu naman more on mga businessman ang sponsors/donors nila so karamihan ng mga students nila son or daughters of businessmans na in the future mga maghahandle ng negosyo nila
la salle actually..mas magaling lang ang kapit ng admu sa abscbn kaya parating hinahype sa media..mas maepal din anb admu...pero kung titignan mo yung la salle yung no.1 private university ngayon tapos di lang mayayaman ang nag aaral..parati silang nagcocompete abroad.nag proprovide sila ng scholarships sa malalayong probinsya..
