maybe it's just me but as an account manager, im also a project manager, client relationship manager and sales manager cause after-sales care + upselling are big areas of KPI

In startups an account manager might be responsible for both securing new clients (initial contract) and managing the ongoing relationship.
Are there junior account manager roles? Or does one need to go into pure closing sales first to then become an account manager? like do i need to be an sdr/bdr for a few years first? and then an AE? And then i can go into account management? Or what...Thanks for the video btw!

Not sure but I think a customer success manager is mainly concerned with renewals whereas an AM overlooks up-selling and cross-selling too.
Hi Patrick ! My question is, is this job similar to a 'scam' sales job? I have a bit hard understanding around this, I am interested in this but I am also a bit worried this is a similar job as a scammer.
Being an account manager isn't a scam job. Companies like Oracle, Salesforce, Facebook, and Google all have "account manager" roles. If you want to avoid scam jobs, try to go with larger companies with a reputable brand name.
