It feeds over all the cutter blades and less snagging do to overloading. Spreads the straw and chaff more evenly from year to year. Also to move the dust from the combine.
Thank you Mike Less for your videos they are the best

First claas harvesting!
Ehm...
I should stop it, before it gets boring...😉👍🏻
Why did they need two grain carts?
Nice Video.
👍👍
What do the custom harvesters charge for combining & hauling?
I think it varies as some may charge by the acre and some by the yield.
Thanks for the reply@@farmhandmike
Mike, I have noticed that some of the farmers run their combines at an angle from their planting. Is there a reason for that?
my quess .. to prevent compaction .. hopefully Mike will let us know
Running at an angle helps cut the plant better. Kind of like shaving against the grain with your razor.
@@stever411 Thanks...I just learned something new......thanks again...
I've also read that running at an angle spreads wear evenly across the cutting head.
Why do they sometimes harvest diagonally to the planted rows? Seems odd.
It feeds over all the cutter blades and less snagging do to overloading. Spreads the straw and chaff more evenly from year to year. Also to move the dust from the combine.
@@robertreznik9330 thanks so much for your reply. I appreciate it.
Dusty work.,the engine air filters worth gold. And have to really be maintained well.

They were yellow in the states until the new models came out this year. Now they are Claas colors.
