I really like the color scheme of that Fendt combine. That dark grey is sharp! We were starting to get dry, but in the past few days we got about 5 inches of rain. That was a real storm now, luckily it didn't come with wind, only lightning like the 4th of July. Great video Mike. Love your stuff.
This is definitely my absolute favorite video of the year. Absolutely love the Fendt and Versatile machinery. And that scenery was just beautiful, especially the wheat. I don't know what it is but the wheat in that area of the midwest is very beautiful. Maybe I am just imagining things lol awesome footage Mike as always your videos are the best on TH-cam.
Those Fendt Ideals are crop eating beasts. Very cool video Mike. Maybe sometime you could do a video of some of these farms grain handling systems & storage?? That would be awesome. Thanks Mike.👍😁
Hi mike you will never see a fendt piece of equipment on our farms we ran massey combines for 55 years with a few internationals sprinkled in from time to time but mostly massy until agco got into bed with fendt and took favor over the ideal and basically through the massey away so back in 2018 it was decided to go 100% caseih I personally always like the massey combines but I don't sign the checks that's dad and my older brother and they decided to go with caseih. I know on the wheat run we had farmers that always liked the massey combine when we would so up they would never question the job it was doing my dad had to do some smooth talking with some of those old guys to convince them the internationals were just as good as the massey was.
Fine load full for that chaser bin!! Also I thought the whole point of chasers was to avoid compaction of lorries (trucks) in field??? Love those extra fat tyres on that Fendt planter…..
Mike Maybe future talking points; how much nitrogen to produce a bushel of corn, types of nitrogen and how it is applied, trace elements, fertilizer for beans, cotton, and whey etc.
Mike hit me up for a potential video. We do custom straw and hay in NW and OH. On the second cut and straw on the ground for the horse race track in Chicago. We use a Bale Barron if you have not seen one work yet it’s awesome.
This farmer has a lot of good looking equipment!!! love the Fendt combines!!! very sharp and also the Delta track and the grain cart!!! do they always leave the stubble real tall when planting the second crop soy beans? another awesome video Mike!!!!!!!
I would guess this is a large grain configured combine harvesting small grains considering the area they are in. The sieves in the large grain version have larger openings in them for corn & soybeans and I doubt they change the sieves for wheat. If that is the case they might also have a few large grain separation grates in it yet if they didn't change them to all small grain finger style. This will all be a contributing factor, for any brand.

I live an hr west of this farm. We've gotten just under 6 inch ( 15cm) in the last 7 days. An hr north of here the air port is showing just over 9 inch ( 23cm) in the same period. Ponds in the fields everywhere, with creeks and rivers so swollen that the field tile cant drain the ground.

@@kennethcarlton2860 I do know other who take their shoes off in the tractor. Also Mikes harvest won't be starting for at least 6 weeks so he doesn't need to worry about his combines burning up just yet. And that is if some rain comes because with out it there may be no crop to harvest.

They should turn the ground before planting... And they are cutting the crop not deep enough.
They are a pretty successful operation that knows exactly what they are doing...
Someone doesn't understand no-till practices and why they're used.
No need to turn the ground. Just lose moisture and the air seeders can plant right into it.
