  • Patrick McGreal, originally from Achill island but now living in Co. Westmeath, describes here some of the legal corruption he has faced from the local authorities and courts there. He also describes his efforts, allied to the village of Dundrum Co. Tipperary, to stablish the illegality of the exemption from all planning laws of the IPAS centres being established around Ireland.

Patrick is one of the bravest men I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is taking on corruption at the highest levels, on his own. Thankfully now he is gaining support from other ordinary men and women.

Well done Patrick. Go all the way.
Taking a good stand at it is better then taking no stand at all.
    I feel for you.
As a lay person like your self .I took on the Supreme Court of Canada 2004. .A very complicated case.It had never been done before. I was told by numerous lawyers. I didn't stand a chance. No one would touch my case .Plus not a penny in my pocket.I refused to listen. Like your self I studied the law.Went back had a five day trial against all state bodies involved. I wiped the floors with them .Winning that case I set a new precedent in the Law of BC Canada.
Never give up.I just wanted you to know anything is possible.
