I'll be honest, I'm Ukrainian and I've only been in Ireland for a year, but even I'm shocked at the number and diversity of migrants in Ireland. I understand the Irish and their excitement, I wouldn't like it either. I support the Irish people. I can say for myself that I did not come to Ireland for profit, but I am here forcibly and temporarily. I am an engineer by profession. During this time in Ireland I took several specialized courses to get certificates, plus one course to improve my English. I currently work for an Irish construction company in Waterford and pay my taxes. I have a lot of experience in construction and modern technology that I have not found in Ireland, and I am trying to be of service to this country. If any of my Irish neighbors ask me to fix something in their house, I do it for free. I am grateful to Ireland and the Irish people that Ireland has accepted me in my time of need. And I promise that I will leave a something beneficial behind me and as soon as the war is over in my country I will leave Ireland. "Peace to the entire world!"

Now they want to import cheap labor from 3rd world countries who will work for shit, live like shit and be happy. They want us to assimilate to their lifestyle. NOT the other way around. I worked, paid taxes and was interested in Irish culture. And respected them. As I observe today what kind of insanity there is in the whole of Western Europe, I can only say that my homeland in Central-Eastern Europe, and states like Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Baltic countries are the last normal countries for white Christians. My own tuppence worth ... I seen a video a few months ago going on about 'anti-migrant protests in Ireland', talk of racism, far-right etc and my ears pricked up .... Im from Scotland, I lived in Ireland for 2 years during 'the Celtic Tiger' era... heard so much from my friends who were already living there about how great life was, the friendliest people etc and when I moved over there, the Irish people, I found, were even sounder than I could possibly imagine. I like to think that Scottish people are friendly, but I found the Irish to be the smartest, kindest, funniest, coolest and friendliest people Ive ever met, I actually ended up on the pish/lash for a full week after I arrived with a bunch of locals in Co. Kildare😂fell in love with the place straight away. Compared to Scotland, I felt very safe in the pubs (a complete absence of violence compared to Scotland) everyone was welcoming, getting the craic, no bullshit over what team you support (we even had a hardcore Hun mate who btw never got any grief for being a Hun, just banter)... my point is, I never believed for a second what the mainstream media were saying about what was going on in Ireland, so thank you for continuing to inform people on what is really going on. Erin go Bragh! 🍀Up the Celts! Dha ar bràithrean is peathraichean Èireannach, gaol à Alba ✌

Ireland is a beautiful country, and its people are even more kinder,
I'm an immigrant, I arrived as a student, I graduated here with an Honours degree, and I made Ireland my home; Ireland has given me everything. In return, I have worked hard, paid my taxes, and never been unemployed, never claimed a cent from the government system.
I can not express my thanks in words to the Irish people for their love and compassion shown to me,
Now, coming to the immigrant crisis, in my opinion, Ireland is being exploited at the moment by doggy and fake asylum seekers, so many people are being let into the country without prior checks of their backgrounds. I remember my student visa application took 16 weeks to process after a thorough inspection of my documents.
No surprise, people are becoming aware of more loopholes and exploiting the system.

It's not as simple as that.
There is tension which is getting to be unbearable but I refuse to be scared in my own city.

I’ve been welcomed into a number of different (mainly Muslim) countries and treated so so well there, so I can promise you none of this is driven by Islamophobia or any kind of racism. We are being fleeced because of our good nature and our government has decided to open our doors so widely that there might as well be none. @niall7213 you really are an idiot, it is absolutely YOU who has missed my point - I have no issue and welcome qualifying and genuine immigrants wholeheartedly - but there's got to be a (much better) plan & indeed a limit on what a very small nation can handle in a given period of time. I am all for inclusion and truly believe ireland will be a better place for it (and absolutely has been over almost 30 years now since it really first started) but not like it's happening today.
Also... I was looked for and requested to go everywhere I've been to bring a very narrow and specialist set of skills to the places I've been and ultimately, to pass that specialist knowledge onto folks there to allow them do what I do for themselves, in the future. Make no mistake... there's a very distinct difference between what I am abroad and economic migrants that are arriving in Ireland. I know from your comment and writing that you can grasp that but I also know from your comment and writing that you WILL NEVER admit to it and say I'm correct. 😃 ......which of course, I am.

Hello, I am an Irish person who is currently homeless. I am lucky, and thankful to be receiving help by emergency accommodation.
The people of Ireland are friendly, and loving, and open; and we are known around the world for being just that.
We are consistently in the top 10 "goodest" countries of the world. Often donating the largest amounts per person, of any nation, to those in need.
And yes, it is unfortunately true that much of our love has and is being taken advantage of.
The problems largely do not belong to the people of Ireland.
The problems are largely not individual immigrants themselves.
Our country's problems are due to huge amounts of current and past government incompetence, and an utter lack of accountability allowing for long-running and systematic Greed.
Our governments policies and lack of policing is allowing more people to enter the country than can be effectively managed and supported, by an already struggling system. And it is getting worse, but honestly, it's a drop in the bucket.
We currently do not have an adequate public housing infrastructure due to years of previous government incompetence.
We currently do not have an adequately trained labour force, because many of our best have up and left, as the ship is sinking.
Our economy is built on smoke and mirrors.
Propped up by the multinationals seeking out low tax rates making our GDP look, "AMAZING"!!! "BEST IN THE WORLD"!!!
    But the disconnect is UN-REAL.
Continual failings in our legal system, our health system, our basic infrastructure.
It is the case that so many new houses can not be built because the sewerage treatment is just not there to allow for it.
We have no metro, a struggling bus service, and a tram line that doesn't even connect to our main airport that last year served 32million people.
If there is anyone that after reading this does not understand why the Irish people are starting now to get a bit pissed off and shouting about migrants, well....
    Please send us your prayers
And to all our hardworking Irish abroad, we need you back.
    Our country needs you.
    Your country needs you

Could it possibly be the Benefit system, the free Health care and the priority they get on the Housing list? What is going on here? This issue is now happening in, not only Ireland, but Europe, the UK, canada & the US. I dont know if Australia & NZ are allowing the same thing to happen over there.
All these countries seem to be following very similar patterns.
Now a days, most of the migrants are of fighting age men; that is unsettling.
None of them are really being processed and they are allowed to just disappear into their ether upon arriving.
Riotes & scary demonstrations are now happening without any consequences unless nationals fight back. Then we, the locals, are the one's in trouble.
Something is very, very wrong here.
I just heard the new Labour government in the UK is requesting British nationals to take migrants into their homes!!! I find that absolutely astounding, and I hope Brits tell this new leader to go jump in the Thames; what a cheek.

I am an immigrant myself but can say that the country is completely different from when I arrived. Feel sorry for Irish people, the situation is terrible. If you go to some places, you forget that you are in Ireland. Things need to be regulated, and some stuff stopped completely. Ireland needs to look after Irish people first, immigrants that pay taxes and work legally next and the people exploring this country should be left in the bottom of the list.

This is no reflection on you as a person as I'm sure you're a perfectly decent human being. Even so, just because you "work and pay your taxes" doesn't mean you should be in Ireland either. The situation for the Irish would be no different if they had 10 million immigrants who also "worked and paid their taxes." The end result would be the same; it wouldn't be Ireland anymore in the same way England wouldn't be England anymore, Germany wouldn't be Germany anymore, America wouldn't be America anymore, Canada wouldn't be Canada anymore, and so on. Western people deserve the right to live in their own countries among their own people just as they do in India, Mexico, China, and elsewhere. It's NOT about the money but the continued existence of our people as a DISTINCT people in a land in which they can live among their own in a more cohesive society because we understand each other's culture, history, temperament, values, and so on. Everyone knows any animal in nature that doesn't have its own habitat to raise its young and live its life always goes extinct: ALWAYS. That's what migration is about in the west. That's why animals will fight to the death to secure territory. It's absolutely vital to group survival.

I was once watching a group of people leaving a meeting of the Euro Group. While chancellor in Germany, Angela Merkel was also chancellor for the Euro Group. The small and extremely secret group that sets policy and runs the EU. Most of whom are unknown to this day. The same corporate globalists that have often openly spoken of the Kalergi book like it is the bible and famously there is a picture of Angela Merkel leaving one of the meetings holding Kalergi's seminal work. I have actually been in meeting with very senior EU officials and they started talking about the 'progress' towards a post democratic Europe like it was the promised land. Given that the same people also tend to be members of the wef, whose self stated objectives are pretty much identical. This is the biggest threats to ordinary people of all time.

Not only as a good piece of documentary work, but also as as an English man giving enough of a S**T to come over and do it. Well done! Unfortunately there are a large number of individuals living in Dublin that don't or won't educate themselves outside of misinformation on social media rabbit holes to have enough of informative perspective on most of the issues to respond reasonably and correctly to each situation as it evolves. If more individuals could look at content like yours with a 2-sided (rather than tunnel vision) approach, maybe more proactive relative responses might lead to a better outcome. Thanks for caring enough to document this!

Everything Colin described as the grievances in Ireland has been happening in the UK, England for ten or more years but the EU and that includes the Irish sadly have revelled in the English misfortune due to their ingrained hatred of the English. Well now it is not only at their door it has got through. None of their politicians are listening because they must obey their lords and masters at the EU. Great to see you linked up with Colin from Bogtrotter. Colin is genuinely unbiased and a great source of honesty and truth. A modern day saint in the land of saints and scholars.
On the subject of Irish people becoming afraid of foreign nationals coming into Ireland, in very recent times a number of extremely horrific crimes have been committed by foreign nationals who were not long in Ireland. There are countless thousands coming in to Ireland who have not been screened or back checked for health or criminal convictions so no one knows exactly what kind of threats are arriving in Ireland, which is crazy because when Covid was doing the rounds not a single person on the entire planet could take a piss without been asked if they had the Jab, but little old Ireland gets told what to do by Europes dictators. Of course the Irish people are welcoming to those who genuinely seek refuge from war etc but not system gamers and nerdowells.
The ongoing situation in Coolock is because once again the Irish Government didnt consult with the local community and thought they could simply as always jackboot their way in. Coolock is just the start.
