Work with a Lithuanian person that speaks Ukrainian and said that the majority of them Ukrainians in Ireland are just coming here for the free everything benefits and many of them are actually very wealthy Ukrainians who owns properties and businesses in Ukraine and that they are very far away from the war in Ukraine and the government has never done any back ground checking like Germany is doing and many of them are running from Germany because of the back ground checking system and the majority of Ukrainians are talking among themselves that they will never ever go back to Ukraine even if the war ends tomorrow and they are prepared for a fight against the Irish government if they are to be sent back to Ukraine and the Lithuanian work colleague said that can hear them talking and literally laughing at the Irish people of just how soft and pathetic they are towards their politicians and government and just accepting what ever they are being told by the main media networks and politicians and the Irish people being so blindly DECEIVED by to believe that everyone from Ukraine has lost their livelihood in the war and the majority of Ukrainians leaving Ukraine is no where near the front line of the war and the majority of the front line are Russian Ukrainians that went into Russia, and making my work colleague extremely mad as the Irish people just keep on accepting the narrative given to them poor Ukrainians fleeing from the terrible war in Ukraine and whole of Ukraine is being bombed and destroyed completely by the Russians and Irish people never ever stop and think and do something called critical thinking for one's self and challenging the government and politicians and medias narrative, yes my Lithuanian work colleague speaks Ukrainian and said that they the Ukrainians are literally 🤣🤣 at the Irish people and saying they are a bunch of foolish pathetic people that just accepting what they are being told by the authorities and media and that are actually literally allowing the government to put their very own Irish people out on the streets and giving them Ukrainians 1st priority and housing them Ukrainians in newly built houses and apartments a dream come true living reality for Ukrainians, living a luxuriously lavishly life with everything given free to them and the majority of them here in Ireland has never ever seen the front line of the war or being in it just a handful has not the majority of Ukrainians coming to Ireland.

I know someone who works with Ukrainians & they caught a lady from the Ukraine flying in & out of Ireland on a regular basis. She was given a nice home in charlesland & social welfare payments. Turns out she was flying back to Ukraine to work, she got caught & was given a caution. She said she gave up her job & only goes back to check on her relatives. You actually could not make this up.
One brought her kid back to get his teeth fixed ffs.

That lady probably was not earning that much for working in Ukraine and was more than likely trying to keep her life back there by a thread. It's the same here in England. We have 100s of 1000s of British families languishing in unsuitable housing. Meanwhile, our councils are collectively spending 100s of millions of pounds building brand new homes for Ukrainians and Afghanis, because "we can't have them in bedsits or in pokey 2-up - 2-down houses with 4 kids".
In east/west Sussex, I think it was, the county council ran out of secondary school places. A dozen or so parents were told that there was no places for their kids in the entire county as refugee kids had to have them.
Since this supposed war the red carpet treatment has been given to Ukrainians the same Ukrainians that can make trips back into their own country without any difficulty at all on a number of occasions and has even been able to go back to have medical treatment also our government knows this but still bend over backwards to attend to there needs in particular what exactly did micheal Martin and Leo the leak promise Zelenskky when they visited him out in Ukraine on two occasions something obviously was discussed

'Pastures New' representative, Brian McDermott said at the meeting that this would be temporary accommodation. Not believable! He could not say from where in Ukraine the refugees are coming from, why not? He should have this information. Not all of Ukraine is a war zone. He was very vague about the length of time that refugees would stay in this townland. Annamoe is not even a village. No shop, no post office. He said that after 32 weeks the marquee and cabins within would be taken down. Is this believable? Other sites throughout Ireland have been filled with young, unvetted military aged men after Ukrainian people have been moved on. This is a lucrative business for Pastures New and their ilk. It can't be imagined that they will give up this cash cow easily. The government has an endless bottomless pit of money but none to care for our own homeless people. This is happening all over our country. Public representatives are not working for us. It is beyond time for citizens to stand up and say NO!

Councillor John Snell and the other 2 ladies were all very sane and fair and I believe are telling the truth. Problem is that due to madness all these immigrants over 18 are able to vote. This will mean that Co Councillors and Dail candidates will be even more afraid to say what, I believe, people are very concerned, about, the flood of incomers from any source and would like to know at what population we will stop increasing the population 7,8, 10 million?

Look up Ireland 2040 plan that the government put out a few years ago. They want to double the population while at the same time making it impossible for young Irish (families & single people) to attain or afford accommodation. The government pays more on the HAP to landlords to house non-Irish and working Irish are competing with government, Councils and NGO's for housing.
Time to get out on the streets and show the government how you feel, there is no point sitting at home and talking about it. There is a march happing on the Thursday 9 of November, if you care about your country you should be there.

was at the meeting and live locally. It would be impossible to pick a less suited site if that was the purpose of the exercise and Pastures New Accommodation Ltd. did not come across as genuine. saying the EIA is underway only now (but not completed) while they are preparing to launch on 20th November suggests that it is a foregone conclusion and that it's conclusions will be predetermined.
what a meeting like this highlights is that there is no way a socalled 'democracy' can function in the modern world. EU acts are handed down and implemented through secondary legislation nationally which overrides primary legislation (in this case the normal planning requirements are overwritten for any housing relating to Ukrainian 'refugees') and this is then handed to local councillors to implement. At each stage of this process people can wash their hands of responsibility (i.e. Micheal Martin can say 'we have international obligations', local politicians can say 'this is national policy' and the private contractor can say 'we are just executing work we are given'). this put's the minimal power in the hands that should have maximal say on these decisions.
there is no short fixes to this solution - it takes a total change of the way our system operates with a need to change to decentralised bottom-up decision-making and a total break with national and international institutions. none of these can ever be fixed in a manner that would result in ordinary people being able to see decisions made in their local communities consisted with the will of those same people.
Put them in the catchment area of Beavis and Butthead who allegedly represent the Irish nation and people 😂

When I see genuine, decent Irish people like those interviewed here, I wonder how different Ireland would be if they could be the country's politicians. But good people rarely want power.

Couldn't agree more. Its like there has been a complete zombie takeover. The political classes in most Euro countries now have been abducted by and indoctrinated into the EuroCult.
