My friends are obsessed with taylors chai cookies so i make them at lease once a month. Pro tip: rip open a tea bag and add the contents in with the spices it tastes sooo good and also dont flatten them then they come out the perfect thickness. Love from england x
I have found when people don't give out the amounts they don't really want you to have their recipe my own mother would give you a recipe and left out important ingredients just so you didn't get it right like she would put to add a quarter cup of mustard but not put it down as spicey brown mustard most people assumed she meant yellow

I made the chai cookies last Christmas and mine flattened out, too. I had an unbiased source (my wife) test them with and without glaze. The glaze was deemed necessary because "the cookie isn't dry, but it tastes dry". Basically, the spices can make it a bit astringent, and sugar glaze being hygroscopic seems to fight it.
13:46 vegan gluten-free desserts are hard to come by so you know if you don't have to live with those constraints then it's easy to blow them off but for those of us who are forced to go without dairy and gluten, avocado chocolate is pretty awesome!
A traditional key lime pie is a very simple recipe. One baked Graham cracker crust, cooled, with a filling of three egg yolks, beaten, one can sweetened condensed milk, 1/2 cup key lime juice, and 1 TBSP grated key lime zest, BP whisk or beat together. (key limes are very small limes. Don’t use regular limes for this recipe.). Bake in the oven until set, about 15 minutes. Cool, then chill for at least an hour. Top with whipped cream, made with one cup whipping cream and 3 TBSP confectionery sugar.
It’s actually traditionally a regular pie crust, graham cracker crust is a bit more modern. The graham cracker crust is perfect imo, but the OG recipe is a regular pastry dough crust.
I've had traditional key lime filling and then key lime filling made with regular limes (usually has lemon added too), which I guess just makes it lime filling, but I've always preferred the non key lime taste. Though both taste perfectly fine.
As a Texas gal and someone who was eating popcorn like this before the Selena Gomez interview, it’s better to just add DILL pickles and Tabasco rather than the juice. Some juice is okay but to avoid excessive sogginess just use the pickles. Also just using pickled jalapeños works too but never bread and butter pickles 😤💯 For an authentic experience use del dixi pickles

When I was a teenager, I wrote to my great grandfather, and ask him for his famous caramel fudge recipe. He sent me a list of ingredients. That was it, no directions whatsoever. 😂

One thing I learned n a cooking show a long time ago, before cell phones 🤣, is to microwave your lemons or limes for 5-10 seconds to soften them up for squeezing/juicing….then rub them along the counter with heel of your hand to release the juice when you squeeze/juice them. Yep! That and the peanut butter almost certainly should be a sugary one. Most of us Americans use sugary peanut butter (I don't. But most do.) so I always assume that in these sorts of recipes unless it specifies otherwise.
dark cocoa is way bitter and she said she likes its taste but my guess is she has eaten it in desserts with more sugar to balance it out. This recipe doesn't have enough sugar to balance the bitterness of such dark cocoa.
Taylor has her own written out recipe for the chai cookies. I just made them for the second time the other day and I didnt have the issue's you had. I also followed this recipe by MunaTheCat for the icing, mine comes out as more of a glaze. But the dough is for sure an actual dough.

As a South Texan, we almost always have DILL pickles with our popcorn. It's a staple and must-have to go to the movies and buy a bag of popcorn and a pickle. You pop a couple of pieces of popcorn in your mouth and take a small bite of pickle. I don't think dipping popcorn in the pickle juice is something I would personally like, though. We also do popcorn dipped in nacho cheese and jalapeños (but that might be more of a family thing. Lol

Cool Whip is hydrogenated lard with boatloads of sugar. That's why it is a non-dairy product. Not an ounce of milk or cream in it. Either make it yourself or use Redi-Whip. The latter is cream in a can, but aerated.

I do the same thing too + put them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes instead of freezer. If you haven't tried them with jasmine tea I recommend

For the popcorn I would use that pickle flavored salt, or freeze dry your pickle juice and then blend it to a powder and sprinkle it in.

Cool Whip is hydrogenated lard with boatloads of sugar. That's why it is a non-dairy product. Not an ounce of milk or cream in it. Either make it yourself or use Redi-Whip. The latter is cream in a can, but aerated.

Pickle juice is mostly water and vinegar. Dills are dill and garlic. If you like those things fine. But they make flavored salt like that

I love dill pickle popcorn if I am ever in the mood for popcorn it 100% of the time has dill pickle on it also every time I get plain ruffle chips I have to get dill pickle dip to go with it😊
