That’s so interesting. I just got the sound to work on my radio by putting the amp wire to power… and saw this video directly afterwards. I just installed the exact same head unit. Lol
So on the back of your radio harnes theres the blue wire should you connect the blue wire + the blue white wire to the red ignition wire?? Or will be fine just connecting the blue white wire to the ignition and not even using the solid blue wire from the deck harness....and yes im running a amp fpr my highs
So i connected my blue wite from the amp to the 12v, and sometimes the stereo will work when it decides to but sometimes it just doesnt. Ive checked the fuses as well, all good. What else could be the issue ?
Hi, I have got old phone hold and charger installed on the old car, but when I cut it off ( no use anymore), the radio become no sound, may I know what happened
I was having same problem I did this and it was working great for about 2 mins then when the bass hit all the speakers cut back out again… I’m lost now lol
Try to check if your head unit fuse. Sometimes if youve got too much power going to it ittl blow the fuse on it. Also make sure the connection for all the wires you connected are very strong and tight. Anything loose will cause a power to be inconsistent. Worst case id use a multimeter to make sure your 12v constant and 12v ignition are getting power with the key forward
1. Check the stereo ground to make sure it is sufficient and not loose. 2. If the stereo turns on check to make sure it is not muted 3. Check the wiring for the speakers and make sure they aren’t backwards 4. Lastly, if you try everything and have no luck, your stereo unit might be defective
Should work on most cars and its fairly easy to test. Just put the amp wire to power and see if it solves your issue. If it doesn’t there are other issues with your setup
@@RedneckTuners i have search the wiring diagram for the amplifier on e46 330i but i dont find it, and when i search positive connector with a terminal tester all of them have energy 😕 im confussed, can u make a video of e46 please 🙏😫

Funny question, for no good reason I need my constant power/battery plugged in into ignition as well. Will that screw anything up?
I believe they need to be separated. Im not 100% sure though
My blue and white cable is labeled power antenna but i dont have that any guidance?
If you dont have one you can cap off that wire
Did that but it blows the fuse each time
I've got everything wired right, same radio. No power. Anyone have suggestions?
I hear the radio comin out the speakers but no music playing
Did that but I’m just getting bass. I have an 06 Titan… help!
Did you find your problem? Im having the same issue
I wanna know what to do cause my car like the sound n radio works it’s just there’s no lights like I can’t see what channel I’m listening to
Thats odd. Check your illumination wire and make sure it is wired In correctly. If not, it might be a faulty head unit
