This is the video I've been waiting for and exceeded my expectations. GREAT STUFF! Really loved Coleton's (and Brandon's) impressions and deeper analysis of materials and fit/finish.
I DONT have much Expatiations for out of spec, they are very CRAPPY, & low budget.

Bearded Tesla found a metal coating product for it that seems to work pretty well.
I wasn't sure about buying the CT until I saw your puppy curled up in the pass through, now I want 2 Cyber Trucks
52:15 "They just left all this exposed" - I don't think that was a design choice, they just didn't want to spend the money to make it cleaner. Kinda ironic that they managed to cut so many corners on a vehicle with so many sharp edges!
What corners did they cut? That's stainless steel so there's no point in covering it.

Coleton, "What do you get with the foundation series?" - Brandon, "You get some extra depreciation". Kidding aside, this was the most informative video I've seen yet on the CT and really explains where Tesla has looked to save cost, save weight, and where in my mind they've lost the right to be called a 'luxury' brand. Porsche saves weight, McLaren saves weight - they use advanced lightweight materials, not just less (thinner) material. Some incredible engineering for sure, but way too much compromise to achieve Elon's angular vision.

That would be cool, but maybe stop before mirror. Do a few stages.
The cross car member at the top of the windshield I think will be nice and do a good job of shading your eyes/head from the sun. I haven’t driven a CyberTruck yet, but did sit in one. The shade it provided compared to the Model Y was the first thing I noticed.
Have you had the opportunity to try ProtectaClear on the stainless steel surface?

Sandy Munro thought the headlights were ok in snow situations, but I doubt he drove his in a storm.
Sandy drove it in Michigan snow.
They didn’t put the charge port farther back because that would require a cutout in the panel and not blend in. All other teslas put it in the blinker housing but that doesn’t work for this. I also thought maybe the rear bumper would be good but if ever hit, then more cost to repair. So….it makes sense why it’s where it’s at.

15:04 There is nothing small about the CT. It is every bit a full size truck. It was targeted at the heart of the F150 and it is very comparable in all dimensions.
if we can figure out TRANSPARENT ALUMINIUM , that would SOLVE the Glass issue.

Agree on the negative comments thing. I think this thing is godawful, yes I've seen one in person, but am I going to purposely walk up to someone that paid this much and yuck their yum? No.
32:26 why does it need to be "double the size"? It's steer by wire, no need for a large wheel to compensate (leverage) for big tires and ridiculous turning radius'. It's the perfect size for this truck.
Why is everybody ok with the finishing quality of the CT. Any other maker would be totally criticised...

i think my biggest problem with tesla is not that they cannot make a car well, its that they cannot reliably make a car well. case in point your model 3, the model 3 has been on sale since 2017, and they still cannot reliably put the doors on straight? it seems that every time they do a minor update (to the door trim, or the headlights, or just something under the hood like the octovalve) they go back to square one with the build, and at what point do we stop letting them get away with it?

the NEW 2024 Tesla model 3 , is setting NEW quality & reliability BENCHMARKS as does the CYBERTRUCK.
MUNRO was VERY impressed by the 2024 Model 3 , made in FREMONT .
MUNRO was also impressed by the PRODUCTION Cybertruck , MUNRO has two Cybertrucks.
one for SANDY as Daily Driver & HUNTING truck , and another to BENCHMARK and tear down.
MUNRO , will also get a 2024 model 3 as STAFF car & Benchmark.
Very good review, I also think they cut too many corner on the quality at this price point.

Cybertruck has lots of EFFECTIVE cost savings built in w/o sacrificing SAFETY and Durability.
Fun Fact:
No one really cars about the build quality of the Cybertruck. No one is rejecting a CT for its build quality!
The horn not being on the airbag is actually safer if the airbag goes off while you are pushing on the horn.

Aside from my views of the truck---the headlights are a total failure, more so in 2024
Comparing airplanes to cars in terms of steer-by-wire is a horrible comparison. While both will potentially be catastrophic in a complete failure past redundancy, only the car would be potentially catastrophic with even just a momentary loss on the road, especially around a curve. There have already been at least 2 reports of complete loss of all steering on the road with a Cybertruck... one of them with his wife and children in the vehicle. That video has mysteriously (lol) disappeared. We will see far more in the future likely. As an electronic/electrical engineer, I can tell you that no a redundancy system is completely useless when you experience power loss. The tragic loss of the Baltimore bridge is another example of how bad steer by wire is. As steer-by-wire vehicles age, the danger will seriously compound. Full steering loss is VERY rare with traditional steering. I suggest YOU may want to do more research.
Elon is optimistic to a fault. He sets aggressive goals and pushes his team to try to meet them.
This is something that Wall Street faults him and Tesla for. They expect CEO's to under promise and over deliver.

because , for NOW rearview mirrors are REQUIRED by FMVSS regulation . (outdated).
However , you NEVER NEED to use the Rearview Mirror for ANYTHING , many have already REMOVED it.
the TESLA 8 Surround cameras + REAR view camera + Side view cameras are ALL you need to Backup and make turns.

After seeing the Silverado EV and F-150, I can't justify this "truck". Too many interior/exterior quirks and too different-looking to be practical. Tesla would've been better off with a traditional truck shape. And don't get me started on replacing the turn signal lever with a couple of little buttons. That's purely a production cost move, not a safety enhancement.
TESLA Cybertruck is built REAL TOUGH , not fake tough like F150.
Cybertruck , also has MORE use case & offers BETTER utility than ANY other truck.
out of spec - see the Kilowatts - try to break the Tesla Armor Glass , after MULTIPLE tries the Succeed and Replace the Glass at a TESLA service center. there was ZERO penetration.
the TESLA ARMOR glass is the TOUGHEST stock Glass in the Industry.
Call it GORILLA glass or SAPHIRE glass , its VERY TOUGH , and its Borosilicate LAMINATE glass.

out of spec - the Tesla HOME charger is SUPERIOR , the Latest Version is 80A 240v and both WiFi & Bluetooth.
and it can seamlessly integrate with TESLA solar & Powerwalls.
the entire unit is Relative Compact and you can Remote control from your BED.
IF, you are using an OUTDATED CCS J1772 L2 240v home charger , than thats REALLY on you for being DUMB.
I think you mean 60 amp circuit with 48 amp usable.

ELON is Trolling the regulators w/ mirrors .
the TESLA side mirrors are COMPLETELY removeable , and its a very SIMPLE thing to Create a SEAL & CLOSEOUT for the Mirrors.
you DO NOT need any mirrors to SAFELY operate the CYBERTRUCK.
the TESLA Surround cameras are MORE than Adequate
however IF you often TOW , you may want to keep them and ADD Special TOWING mirrors to Cybertruck.
BTW - Did you know , TESLA has an ONLINE Service & Repair manual w/ ALL PARTS and instructions on HOW TO REMOVE the Side Mirrors and CLOSE them out ?
and BTW - since 2021 TESLA has their ENTIRE Service & Repair manual ONLINE for anyone to use , for a FEE of course.
However , in 2023 TESLA released for FREE , the Tesla 2009 Roadster repair & parts manual.
Don't forget to zip up Elon's pants when you are done.
