    Jokic is the most underrated athlete ever bro. People don’t understand how conditioned he is. He is always hustling and if he really wanted to he could get up more.

    • @juantootree4990
      @juantootree4990 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      yeah that's the most overlooked. there's a video out there, the team including jokic himself acknowledging that he is not as conditioned. after they lost in the bubble, jokic took health and fitness way more seriously and now he's able to run back and forth all over. even in the wcf last year, jokic and murray wasn't put on the bench during the 2nd half, they played the entire 2nd half for games 3 and 4 then swept the lakers.

      Problem is people are misinformed and think being athletic means jumping high but there is multiple types of athleticism and conditioning is one. No one going to take a marathon runner over a sprinter in a 40 yard dash but not taking sprinter in marathon either

      Nba players seem t think athlete only equals run fast and jump high. With all his attributes hes one of the top athletes of all time. Ye run fast n jump high are good, there like 20+other things he has. Ffs hes 7ft in shoes n clearly strong as hell that'll fuckin do for basketball

    The biggest issue I see with Garnets coverage idea is he said he would tell the guard to under the screen because he’s staying glued to Joker. Jamal would light that coverage on fire with his pull-up jumpers.

    personally I hope that Jokic will stay in his prime long enough for Wemby to reach his defensive peak. Imagine the rivalry between potentially the greatest defensive player ever and Jokic. I hope we gonna see them in the playoffs sometime.

    Jokic boutta win his 3rd MVP and he's still underrated. Nobody else on the Nuggets starting 5 has made an all star game but he elevates MPJ and Aaron Gordon's games so much. He's like a Quarterback who manages the clock and tempo of the game perfectly.

    I imagine, that guarding Jokic is like guarding the whole team at once, because not only he can score himself in almost any situation, but he can also instantly pass the ball to a perfect spot.
    And he sees right through you - when you think you finally read all of his plans and tricks, he would just add a tiny little adjusment right at the last moment.
    First time I saw him playing, my initial thought was "dude plays like he is an adult pro-player that came across 10th graders street game and decided to get involved".
    This is some ice-cold maturity that transfers right into a sheer effectiveness.

      At the current soft rules were the defense can't really disrupt the off ball movement, Jokic is literally unstoppable, level of dominance similar to Shaq. The guy predicts 5 plays ahead, there's no pressure for the wing players to reach their spots, neither for Gordon to run at the dunker spot, Jokic will read the defense and destroy it. And if you straight up play him 1v1, which is the only way to slow him down a little, he have all the tools in the bag, he will bait fouls, bait double teams eventually, etc.. if Shaq dominated so much by taking advantage of 1v1 in the anti-zone era, Jokic is the polar opposite, the soft NBA heavily favors playmakers

Most likely the Nuggets are going to face the Wolves next, just like last playoffs, it will expose how physical defense is not really the answer because Jokic will either score over the Wolves bigs or going to bait touch fouls... and if either Gobert or KAT gets in foul trouble, forget it, they are going to be slaughtered again

You see, Lakers only have AD a natural Power forward who can defend jocic, he outscored Jocic multiple times in playoffs and even defended him well, the big problem is the Supporting cast of Lakers, when D lo is playing well Ar, Rui and others never contribute and vice versa..AD and Lebron is automatically can give you 25-30 ppg each consistently..
