This sounds exactly how they described Larry Bird back in the day. And they still say that Bird would not be successful in the league today. Jokic is a perfect example of hard work, intelligence, and doing whatever it takes to win.

Jokić not jumping high actually has certain advantages:
1. When rebounding, if the player times his jump wrong, he needs longer time to fall back to the ground in order to be able to jump again. Joker is always slightly bouncing on his toes, so he can time his rebounds better.
2. Jumping makes you tired faster, that's one of the reasons he has more endurance: he isn't wasting his energy on jumping high, so he has more of it left for moving around the court.
3. Jumping high and landing back on the ground can negatively affect your body (knees, ankles, etc), that's why Joker is rarely injured below the waist.
