Something to note on feraligatr: If it uses a Move that has a 2nd effect, and has the ability Sheer Force, it won't lose any HP from Life Orb, making Bulldoze a much better move than Earthquake, since while it won't hit as hard, it will still get the boost in damage from Life Orb, and take no Health Damage.
nah, there's a interaction quirk in the systems where when holding life orb sheerforce boosted moves gain the life orb boost too without including the health cost
@@TCStink3 That's how it works. But I dont think Bulldoze is better. Bulldoze (60 BP) + Sheer Force is 78 BP. While Earthquake is 100. Havent watch the video yet but here is what I think is good Blaziken Fire fighting Empoleon water steel Torterra Grass ground Delphox Fire psychic Greninja Water Dark Venasuar Grass poison
I like the squad! Empoleon uses Defiant,Leftovers and a bulky spread and with SR and Defog,it completely controls hazards (spinning isn't as prominent anymore.) and with Iron Head and Taunt/Toxic (your choice) it can be reliable support and gives a backbone to the team. Delphox can potentially run Scarf/Specs/Life Orb to be cleanup or a wallbreaker. It's high special attack and decent coverage allow for some devastatingly powerful attacks. Greninja is Greninja,Scarf Protean or Life Orb Battle Bond, you know the rest and so do I. Torterra could also set rocks, but I think Empoleon's a better fit. With the same bulky spread and Leftovers as Empoleon and Shell Armour means bad RNG can't screw you over. With Toxic,Substitute and Leech Seed making for a reliable combo for stalling and then it's your choice between Giga Drain (probably worst choice, but nice for recovery) Earthquake (decent damage without recoil) Or Wood Hammer (seeds and leftovers mean the recoil isn't that bad and the massive damage is a plus) Blaziken is Blaziken, enough said. (life orb,not mega) Mega Venasaur! (Blaziken is a fine choice for a mega, but I think Mega Venasaur is a better fit) Bulky Spread,Seeds,Toxic,Giga Drain and then maybe EQ (IDK what Venasaur does normally, but it's a staller that gets seeds and stuff,so I know it uses those and EQ with decent attack helps against the Poison and Steel types that are immune to toxic and resist Giga Drain) Edit:I changed and added one or two things to make the Venasaur segment a little better,I probably won't edit again. This is just my take on the team, for all I know,it could be something completely different.
I enjoyed the video Primarina is so strong that it is good on my team in Pokemon Ultra Sun and it was powerful when I use Primarina for Pokemon Moon too.
Pikachu is nice, but you should have just went all out and gave it a light ball, then make sure it has at least volt switch, but the rest could be anything really
A Pikachu with no stab electric attacks feels very off to me. I agree seismic toss and toxic is a great strategy to dish out the damage but I wouldn't put it on a Pikachu because imo Pikachu is meant to be more so a sweeper-like mon based on it's stat distribution. If you wanted a tanker, I believe other starters fits the bill better than Pikachu.
For mega Blaziken I think swords dance with low kick and flare blitz may perform better. You need less setup making it less risky since Blaziken is not the most tanky pokemon....
I'm just gonna say it. In my opinion zard Y would be the best mega, to take for this team. It has a very strong attacking power and an ability that would pair incredibly well with venosaur (because chlorophyll) and would also boost any fire moves used by the rest of the team. Even though blaziken is a good mega to take, it is already incredible without mega evolving and would, as mentioned before, even profit from zard Y setting up sun. But as I said, that's just my opinion. So to sum it all up, I'm perfectly fine with the choices you made in this team, but I would have made another choice for the mega (and maybe some others too). Cheers
Im gonna counter claim and say that: -Mega blaziken is one tier above mega zard y -Mega blaziken is a much larger threat than charizard because of speed boost and its outstanding attack stat. Get off a protect 1st turn its mega and you will outspeed everything and likely sweep with its insane attack. Blaziken is not weak to rock and has no 4x weaknesses. Maybe this will change your mind?
Red Solo Cup gonna counter u argument by argument ok? Ok! - Mega blaziken is literally in the same tier as regular blaziken - normal blaziken also has speed boost too and with life orb, it's attacks hit incredibly hard as well. Also it's fire attacks would get boosted by sun. - even if venosaur isn't supposed to be fast, chlorophyll would still make it faster, without wasting any moves. Also overgrown is really not a great ability. - remember when I said "(maybe some others too)"? I meant Blastoise or any other starter, that can get rid of stealth rocks and can replace pikachu (not in pikas role but just replace it) This would eliminate the threat of stealth rocks to zard. Though I have to admit that the last point with the rock moves is a good one. But then again you could probably find a way to work around those, and rock types don't really stand a chance against zard Ys' solar beam. OK that's all but as I stated before, this is just my opinion, Cheers
I feel like Mega Blaziken is such a waste of your mega option though. Regular Blaziken is just as good competitively, and having a diff mega could elevate one of your other options (cough cough Venusaur cough cough) making the team far more well rounded!
Swampert and charizard imo should replace feraligator and pikachu even if they aren't mega's stab ground and flying type moves are more than enough to provide extra coverage and aid this team

I'd like to make a video [or series] request from you Mystic, I realise this is a pretty chunky idea but i'd love to hear your thoughts on it: plotting alternate possible paths throughout the various regions and following on from that what teams might the gym leaders have in the new encounter order, Like if you could begin Kanto by taking a ferry south from Pallet to cinnibar facing Blaine first and on to Fushia with Koga and so on, Most of the HMs or other advancement items are retrieved in fairly arbritrary locations and could be moved around pretty freely, sure maybe you have to get the bike in Cerulean but who's to say you have to get the voucher in Vermilion?

Greninja, Swampert, Blaziken, Charizard, Serperior, and Venasaur
I’m a Pikachu fanboy so I’m beyond cool with having him in the team (cuz he ain’t that bad lol)
The other starters: Strong
Pikachu: Cute
I would replace EQ on Feraligatr with Dragon Dance. I might also choice scarf that Serperior because of its OP Leaf Storm.
Eever from lets go is good because it gets moves from each of its evolution types plus perfect Ivs if an starter
I mean Eevee, typo
Nice editing what do u use
I am expecting Venusaur and Infernape (two of the coolest group of pokemon but charizard is always the best)
I would use low kick over high jump kick
Pikachu and Greninja in this team? I approve.
Sad for no Swampert, tho. :(
Blaziken great tho
Can you create video about pokemon crystal best team with Johto starters(cyndaquil , chikorita and totodile) , because I have all starters using glitch
Still think empoleon the stealth rock, wall should have been there
I was actually expecting you to rank all teams based on competitive viability but this is good to. Although you might wanna think about doing a top 5 best times just saying
Mystic,I have an idea, why don't you make a how to fix,in which you would fix certain megas and other Pokemon m
Decidueye should have been the 6th member
Mystic, WTF!? Sparkling Aria!? Just run Surf! Don't take the chance of healing a burn!
And no Ice Beam!?
I mean you can easily swap primarina with swampert so you'll have a real wall, get rid of pikachu and replace him with mega charizard/mega venusaur, and just get a regular blaziken (it is uber as it is) and you'll have a better team immediately.
I agree because blaziken isnt even that much worse than its mega
