Food is medicine. But, I overdose.
My family has always, always celebrated with Food. New Years’ banquet, Birthday parties, Easter spread, Memorial Day cook out, July 4th cook out, Thanksgiving spread and Christmas spread. And, when I say Spread, I mean a spread! 😮 And, Mom gets offended if you don’t try her dishes but Auntie gets offended if you don’t try hers. And, everyone brings a dessert. And, you must take home leftovers. 😫😫😫😫😫😤

Do we have the same family?! It is soooo hard at holidays. The peer pressure is absolutely insane.
Also, I love that saying! Food is medicine, but I overdose. 🤯

Very true - since we need food to live, there is no point in making it the enemy

I hope this video reaches more ppl. Thank u for sharing. I have struggled with binge eating as long as I can remember. But I have recently realized that I just need to listen to myself and feel my feelings.

2 years ago I used to be super restrictive in my food choices and it led to constant binging. I started healing my relationship with food by telling myself I can have that food but in moderation. Little by little I was able to do a complete 180 from binge eating. Today I fill up on good whole nutritional foods 80% of the time and the other 20% I have the fun foods that I want....in moderation. I have lost an additional 30 pounds with this, from where I was 2 years ago.
